Was lucky enough to be there on Friday for the quarterfinals, had a lovely experience. I love how personal and intimate the tournament is, and actually got to chat to former ATP pro Nicolas Kiefer for a good 5-10 minutes, and if I had wanted to queue up in the heat, I could have easily gotten Zverevs autograph. It’s such a fun tournament and really cool to get so close to all the top players
Thanks for this update... I literally live 30 min from Halle and I did not know there's such an event... shame on me! Halle is a university city and not far from Leipzig. It is kind of in the middle of nowhere but not really :) Thanks for the educational videos you have posted!

I think they would! Karue plays very well still… he’d do ok on the futures circuit! To be honest I haven’t seen Nicolai play but I’d fancy my chances 😜

How did the grass court bounce compare to Avenue grass courts. Does Avenue have a harder, faster surface?
Without hitting on the grass, but watching play on them, I’d say they were a little harder than the Avenue
