Thank you for this super useful video explaining how the X32 stores the raw data. Just now started working with a field engineer who records bands live and just upgraded to X32 and we had some teething problems getting the stems. Thank you Sir, saved me a lot of more searches on the net!
Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, actually I have. I have used it to record directly into Logic. The reason I do not do that is because I have my computer running tracks connected over USB to the X32. And the computer I was using was having issues running the tracks in the system we had and recording back at the same time. But about to make some changes that might make that a very viable option. Thanks!
@@JonathanHeadley nice yeah I can’t get it to work over on my side. For some reason it’s not recognizing the x32 as an interface even though it recognizes it in the x32 edit app.

I thought my only option was reaper to explode multichannel files into individual ones.
You just dropped a real gem right here.
Very Helpful.
Very useful as I am new to the X-Live card. Just acquired one. Thanks, big thumb's up.
I use 1gb cards in each slot and on the front usb I use 1gb sd, ssd or external drive. It’s all in the way you format the cards.
I find this a lot easier on logic as you can drag and it will use the same tracks
Muito bom!
Very helpful
Thanks! Great video : )
Have you tried using the x32 as an interface for audacity?
