The piece of pottery you picked up wasn’t for pancakes- it was a bacon cooker. 😊 You lay your bacon inside it and over the side like an upside U. Then you can microwave it to cook it! The hole is for the grease.

Is there still a restaurant called the Cornflower in the Gaitlenburg area? Went there back in 1994 and it was so good! Would love a review if it is still open.
No restaurant with that name in Gatlinburg, in Pigeon Forge The Old Mill used to be named the Cornflower and in the 90’s they changed ownership and changed the name to the The Old Mill !
