I like to watch this every now and again, just to remind myself that real, good, honest hard working folks are still alive and doing well. God Bless these cowboys, for the work they do, and for the charactor and qualities of what a good american should value....Thank you Kent...
Great video, Awesome life lessons, simple and straight. My favorite quote "Character is what you do when no one is looking." Thank the cowboys for all they do for us.
the National Day of The Cowboy is a long overdue tribute to the true builders of America. our Cowboys, the ranchers, farmers, the settlers of this great country are the unsung heroes who feed us...and who exemplify through hard work, poor pay, and good old fashioned courtesy, honesty, and caring for a way of life that SUPPORTS us all. HATS OFF TO THE COWBOY!
That's just exactly what it is. I'm going to be 64 in September & that's what I was taught by all the old cowboys I trailed behind when I was a kid. I've missed that life ever since I left home. It stays with you your whole life.
How can someone who hasn't grown up in the country and don't know country folk, find them? I was raised a town kid and have little to no culture, my whole life I've wanted to be a "cowboy" or a ranch hand but my family and I never knew anyone who could teach me the things I wanted to know. How can I find good friends like you and other country folk?
These guys are simply incredible. If we had Cowboys running the country we would be just fine. The honor that shines through these fine men goes beyond words. Thank You Shannon and Kent for showing us a part of our society that I didn’t know still existed. God Bless every one of you.☝🏻
A cowboy is an honest man saying honest words and living an honest life. You don't have to wear a hat or ride a horse to be a cowboy. The words you say, the bond you keep, and the life you lead say so.
I Love ❤️ this video! I have always been a cowgirl at heart even as a child and have been fortunate enough to have worked on a cattle ranch with my first husband in northern Arizona, back in 1974. I consider it the happiest, most peaceful time of my life. Thank you so much for helping to dust off some of my best memories!! ❤️
You know, I never actually rode a horse, I don't know the first thing about a farm, hell I don't know the first thing about big hats, but I will say I'd move sign up and learn it all to surround myself with men of such character to provide for my family. Any of you read this and believe me...reach out, im dead serious and Id love the chance. Good on ya cowboys. Thanks for keeping my beef habit alive and well.
I cowboyed all through Nevada through all kinds of weather from desert heat to desert cold and what I learned is that the worst day in the saddle is better than the best day doing anything else. Thank you Kent for preserving our way of life
I was raised up on a farm and so much of this is familiar. I was taught to say less and do more. To say what you mean and mean what you say. Treat your animals good and work smart with equipment. I rank the day I made hand on my granddaddy’s farm as one of the best days of my life. God bless and thank you for making this video.
The respect and honesty these guys show to the land, their animals and each other is something many people in today's modern world could learn from, thanks for taking the time to bring this video to us.
I’m a black cowboy from ETX. These kind of men i look up to as if they my brothers, uncles, grandfathers or even dads. No matter what skin color. They sound just like the men in my family or friends. I love you guys & keep up the great work. We need more MEN like you guys. Specially in this world today 🤙🏽
I can so relate to this sentiment as a 20 year sailor. Being at sea is a lot like being out on the range. You want to meet the Good Lord face to face, that's where you're going to do it. Out there on the ocean, when things go south, it's you and your maker, and you two get to chat pretty danged often. It's a lifestyle, not a career. 100%
This world could do with a lot of getting back to the basics that help us all. I miss living around cowboys. I did as a kid and I never forgot it. And always long for it. God bless you all and may you never think of yourself as greater, but always believe that other's are.
Great video. I live in DFW Texas and my grandfather and father inlaw were cowboys and i grew up being exposed as a boy workin the folks fanch when school was out, till it was time to go back. The cowboy way has stuck with me all my life. To this video all i can say is, Amen.!
I have high respect for the cowboys. Coming from a family of farming and mennonite family going back over 100 years at some point cowboys were some were in there since there were family members who had cattle farms so cowboys played a roll in the past with my family and this part why i love and respect the cowboys past and present and thank you
This is a great video, it is the way everyone should be, honorable, treat people right and respectful, lead a good life and help your fellow man/woman. If this happened, life would be awesome. Thank you very much for doing this and sharing it. Thank you to all the cowboy's who shared their thoughts.
I can relate to the appreciation for the land, the love and caring of the animals, the gratitude for the beauty of it all. Not to mention the solid values. The photographer/cinematographer is very talented. Beautiful photographs and beautiful subjects. I truly enjoyed this from the bottom of my heart.
Outstanding and all is true. To see that sun come up in the morning and setting in the evening really shows what Good Lord has created for us. Nothing better than that. This is Gods church no building can capture that. Your videos are down to earth and real. Sure miss that old farm and the setting. Thanks so much again !!!
You know Kent, I've been on this earth for more than sixty four years and back about forty years ago I had someone ask me that very same question ! I was working cattle at the time and I really didn't have a good answer, because there are so many words that could be said, but SO many that CAN'T be said, that have to be felt ! These boys know what I'm saying, I can see that. I've worked a lot of different kinds of jobs through the years, one thing I know for truth, you don't have to be a cowboy, to have a cowboy heart! Thanks for sharing and take care.
Thank you for this video, Kent! My dad was a vaquero (cowboy) overseas, and watching this video took me back to when he and my uncles used to huddle every evening to talk about there work on my grandmother's farm. God Bless!
This was great. Same way i was brought up from the older men. The biggest thing whenever I was growing up. Was having respect as a cowboy. I’m going to raise my kids the same way. I also like what said about being successful. That was great. We need more men like these guys
Great video with great folk! I was a truck driver, most of my life, and got to see a lot of wonderful sights and meet some good people. If there is such a thing as re-creation, I want to come back as a cowboy. God Bless them all! Thanks Kent and Shannon for the video.
It's the Cowboy Way! Rode a few fence lines myself. This kinda work is hard but the reward at the end of a long day a feeling that keeps you coming back. A good dog a good horse 500 head of cattle and a 10 mile canyon.
I just stumbled upon this man's cowboy videos. What a great find. I like to share these with my 12 year old son and he really enjoys them too. A completely different lifestyle than my daily grind in finance. Thanks Kent! I'm a bit envious.
Lord bless these people! I’m very proud I was raised around people like this and that I have the opportunity to live this lifestyle. Sure I’m college “educated” but there are some profound things you can only learn by hard work and realizing you are not the center of the universe! As someone from the younger generations I feel I have an obligation to the heartland and this culture to show that the old ways are not dead yet, wise man once said, “ as long as there is a bit of land with cattle and a faithful cowboy watching over then the life won’t ever die.”
Thanks for the reminder Kent, sometimes we get caught up in the race to get what we think we need, and loose sight of what we have. Here’s to a warm fire and a hot cup of coffee.
Love this! This shows what life can be if you choose to be good and honest with one another. Have each others back without thinking about it. Thanks for sharing!
WOW!...First of all great video. Second - Its so good to see a tradition still being carried out and to show that it is so much of a better lifestyle than punching a clock in a concrete jungle somewhere. The one saying that caught my attention was what my uncle always drove into our heads on the farm. And that was "Talk Less - Work More". I agree 100%, Kids and the younger generation now days just want to be on there phones, playstations and what nots. And the most important thing is having God in there lives because you never know when he will call you home. So, thanks for having a wonderful channel that I have just subscribed to and will be looking forward to the next one.
Bless y'all. Kent & Sharron. the email with 2 videos came at just the right time to comfort this lonesome exile: I just bawled! I had dislocated my shoulder & broke my arm 5 days before Hurricane Helene trashed my area. Stairs made me house-bound, but For the next 11 days without electricity, water, cell phones etc neighbors from our small community kept coming by to help: sharing news , scavenged food, helping to get me to the hospital to get emergency medicines. Reminding me good people are everywhere. But once this period was over, I entered a chat room to a survey of which was most preferred place to live: the mountains or Texas? TEXAS!! Once physically recovered (est. late Nov.) I plan an extended vacation: home to Texas. I've told my handyman/friend he might get word from me: "Sell everything and send me a check. I'm not coming back!" PS I've saved the videos to help tide me over til then.
I once was a cowgirl, barrel racer, love the time spent on that four leg animal, miss those days dearly and yes there is something to be said about the range. I lived in Wyoming such a awesome place. Love to see the cattle and cowboys. they for sure a hard working bunch. Thanks for the memories. I am to old to ride any more had back surgery, so yes it still in my heart. When I get to place in life when I know it is time, I am gonna take my last ride on a horse.
Pecking order , God , Ken Cowboys and Vets.... My Americian Way .....Great share here...nothing better than to listen to the young men talking about Cowboy Way...
Well.... I'm a small town Country Boy, grew up working in the oil patch (production rigs, roustabouten and such), and have spent the last 28 years of my life working in The Joints (Prison Work: Correctional Officer on up through a Unit Manager) and I can tell ya this..... ALL those philosophies and philosophical "Cowboy" outlooks on life Life - God - Work - Listening - Respect; have been applied to my life as well. So wherever and whatever you may do.... anyone can still Cowboy Up!!!! ~Blessings~ Loren P. Kolb/Taft, California.
Was raised in the Casper area. This sure brought back memories. Good God fearing people, hard working and straight shooters. Wish there were more of these kind of folks everywhere today, our country would be better off.
was raised by the bible and the cowboy code.got family that ranches, but i never herded cows.grew up to be a law dog.i have nothing but high respect for the working cowboy.
This shit makes me cry... but not tears of anguish, tears of joy.... because there are still honest people in this world and there's hope that they pass these virtues on to future generations, regardless of religious/racial/geographical affiliations
I am a displaced Texan out here in La La Land and watching your video's are great therapy for me cause I can hear an accent I can relate to and food that's like I grew up on. I'll be back home one day but in the mean time I'll continue to watch your videos. Good stuff.
A Cowboy is a man. You don't have to ride a horse or punch cattle to be a Cowboy. Say what you mean and mean what you say. What is that old song how does it go his heart is a feather in all kinds of weather, the right attitude. God bless the working Cowboys....and the cooks too, Kent!
Please bring back the cow boys we need honest hard working men even if there not ours god bless you all when I say not ours I'm scotish from Edinburgh uk I wish we had men like you
I am not, and never have been a cowboy. but the values discussed here are something that I instantly related to. as a grove and farm owner, I say, rock on, party dudes!:)
According to this video National Cowboy Day is on July 27th this year. After watching, being very entertained and educated by all of Cowboy Kent Rollins’s videos, I will definitely be celebrating Cowboy Day this summer because it happens to be right around the corner. As always God Bless Kent, Shannon, and The Beagle!
Another good shared video especially when they talked about being closer to the Lord. I can understand that feeling, it is the same way I feel in my boat on the lake.
Thank you for this video - Good People - Hard Working - They've Got Your Back - Faith In God - Unwavering Dedication To Friends, Family, and Country - Heart Of America. God Bless You All.
I would love to see a video about cowboy hats. What their favorite brands are. Also would be interested in hearing their opinion of the regular"Joe" wearing a cowboy hat. Thanks for the great video! 👍😀
Stetson,Resistol, or American mostly. Sometimes customs. I think Kent wears a Resistol Black Gold 20X, judging solely on the hatband, but I might be wrong. Im a Stetson kinda guy. They make both straws and felts.
Without the Cowboy of yesteryear, key elements of what make up Americana as we know it wouldn't exist. And the Cowboys of today stand as proud inheritors of that tradition, good to see the humble spirit necessary for living like that is still there and thriving. Thank you for the video Kent.
Being a cowboy is being true to yourself and not trying to be something your not. Appreciate what you have and work hard for your family and land. Love your lady and God. Always stand for the right thing even when 99% thinks the wrong thing is better, always respect and help when you can. Stand up for the ladies and children. Love your horses never take them for granted. A cowboy understands the wild spirit of the horse and understands doesn't change that. Most of all a cowboy depends on God.
How I miss being around these people. Grew up with people born between 1877 - 1934......this is how they lived. Everyday be thankful 🙏 don't forget to celebrate life.
There is nothing better than eating camp cooking, a morning sunrise, night sunset. The sound of cattle in the distance. A family of coyotes singing at night. and the thunder rumbling off in the distance. Oh, and a good horse to get ya though each day. I almost forgot; getting up in the morning stiff and sore from the day before, giving thanks for the new day and a chance to do it all over again with God at your side... There is nothing better in the world than being a Cowboy...
Wow, just wow. I've been raised with the same values all my life and never took them to heart. Good to see that America has some true men in it still. God Bless!
My grandfather taught me to be a man like these men. The values, faith and integrity, something this world needs more of. Thanks Ken
Kent
Thanks Corey, for taking time to watch

This shit makes me cry... but not tears of anguish, tears of joy.... because there are still honest people in this world and there's hope that they pass these virtues on to future generations, regardless of religious/racial/geographical affiliations
Thanks Sidney, they are a great bunch to cook for
We need more cowboys in this world and in Arizona
I am a displaced Texan out here in La La Land and watching your video's are great therapy for me cause I can hear an accent I can relate to and food that's like I grew up on. I'll be back home one day but in the mean time I'll continue to watch your videos. Good stuff.
Thanks Jim for watching
A Cowboy is a man. You don't have to ride a horse or punch cattle to be a Cowboy. Say what you mean and mean what you say. What is that old song how does it go his heart is a feather in all kinds of weather, the right attitude. God bless the working Cowboys....and the cooks too, Kent!
Please bring back the cow boys we need honest hard working men even if there not ours god bless you all when I say not ours I'm scotish from Edinburgh uk I wish we had men like you
Thanks Lina for watching
I am not, and never have been a cowboy. but the values discussed here are something that I instantly related to. as a grove and farm owner, I say, rock on, party dudes!:)
Thanks for taking the time to watch Jason
According to this video National Cowboy Day is on July 27th this year. After watching, being very entertained and educated by all of Cowboy Kent Rollins’s videos, I will definitely be celebrating Cowboy Day this summer because it happens to be right around the corner. As always God Bless Kent, Shannon, and The Beagle!
Thanks for watching and God bless you as well
Wow! great video, thank you Kent Rollins for making and sharing this.
I will keep that in mind
Stetson ! I'll bet will win out with Most Cowboys Young & Old !
Stetson,Resistol, or American mostly. Sometimes customs. I think Kent wears a Resistol Black Gold 20X, judging solely on the hatband, but I might be wrong. Im a Stetson kinda guy. They make both straws and felts.
Thank you both for everything
Thanks Jason for watching
Wow! What a great video!
Thanks to you Kent!
Much appreciate it.
Thanks Gary for watching

Thanks so much
True America right there. ...The Real Deal. God bless 'em all.
Amazing. I have great respect for cowboys. I didn't know serving Jesus was a part of who y'all are. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for sharing this great show could watch hours of these.
Thanks Rick
Without the Cowboy of yesteryear, key elements of what make up Americana as we know it wouldn't exist. And the Cowboys of today stand as proud inheritors of that tradition, good to see the humble spirit necessary for living like that is still there and thriving. Thank you for the video Kent.
Thanks for watching I have a great producer and they were great bunch to cook for
Enjoyed your video forward to more of your cowboy cooking videos. Seen you haven't done any of them in a little while
Being a cowboy is being true to yourself and not trying to be something your not.
Thank you for thois video ... It speaks for itself sir.. well done.. Blessings from southern Oregon..
Great producer in my wife, and great people to work with
Cowboy Kent Rollins Your very blessed ... 😊😊😊😊
How I miss being around these people. Grew up with people born between 1877 - 1934......this is how they lived. Everyday be thankful 🙏 don't forget to celebrate life.
Thank you for watching and everyday is a blessing
"Better go with the second best view I ever had..." LOL! Amen brother!

Tom I've been through that country
There is nothing better than eating camp cooking, a morning sunrise, night sunset. The sound of cattle in the distance. A family of coyotes singing at night. and the thunder rumbling off in the distance. Oh, and a good horse to get ya though each day. I almost forgot; getting up in the morning stiff and sore from the day before, giving thanks for the new day and a chance to do it all over again with God at your side...
There is nothing better in the world than being a Cowboy...
Thanks Kirk, fro taking time to watch
Wow, just wow. I've been raised with the same values all my life and never took them to heart. Good to see that America has some true men in it still. God Bless!
