@@Luminolo Cedric's never been much of a caretaker vocal chord-wise. Mike's a beast and though he's a vocal mad scientist, he always knew where to go and when - during shows, tours or through the years. Unfair comparission, bro
Nobody keeps that kind of batshit wailing for decades and comes out with a pristine voice. Unless your some sort of operatic mutant like Bruce Dickenson, but that guy is a huge health freak who takes *very* good care of his voice.
@@Luminolo I've heard Paton get scratchy live before. Age is relentless. plus yeah another one who takes a LOT of care of his voice, right down to cancelling gigs if he's in danger of hurting his vocal chords (NEVER sing with a flu, you'll destroy your voice)
they sound cleaner and tighter now, people perceive less energy just because cedric doesnt scream as much as he used to but the instruments still sound tight and powerful.
I grew up on at the drive in and now being 17 and being able to understand gives the music so much more reason to listen
best band of all time in my opinion brother! love live this group. I'll be 35 in 2 months
31 until next Feb 🙋🏻♀️🖖🏻
i’m 18 bren listening since i was about 11 TMV and ATDI are my favorite bands ever. period.
I'm a young adult, and I just discovered At the Drive-in & The Mars Volta last summer!
its the perfect song for the dedication.
I'm so happy at the drive in is back
Beautiful performance.
I read someone explain that this is ATDIs stairway to heaven. I’d agree.

You're correct. He is known for changing lyrics up sometimes.
I'm dissapoint, ... Instead of aaaaaargggg he went ooooooh.

Not the same energy as before. ;/
Well they're a lot older now, so it's kind of expected. IMO they still sound pretty great.
They aren't as sloppy live though

they old as fuck and sober now.
At least they didn't have to drop tuning like most bands do. I think they still sound great, especially given all the drugs they used to do.
Welcome 2020 were forgot about music that that stands more for blm than any trash artist on the radio
