Well as soon as I saw the title, I almost passed on this video, just because I knew the outcome. But out of respect for you I just had to watch. Thank you so much for your honest review (s).
Bombay is the gin that lead me to believe that drinking gin was the same as drinking perfume. Thank goodness I met a bartender who cured me of that misconception. Thank you for your honesty and wit. I love to learn and laugh. 😊
I love Bombay sapphire, what you don't like is the cubeb berries and grains of paradise which add a peppery finish. (These are the two additional botanicals that aren't in the Bombay original). I just picked up the 47% version from duty free and it's awesome!
@@nononsensegindrinking5152 Welcome Bobby. I have some nice recomendations for you. Can I send you any by way of support for your channel ? India Jaisalmeer (Amazing !), Hapusa (upmarket one of the Greater Than one you reviewed), France, Christain Drouin Carmine :-) and Vancouver, Canada Sheringham
@@martinstaunton9304 Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately it’s impossible or incredibly difficult to send gin from Canada or the US. many have tried but it never arrives! I will search for these gins though and see if I can find a supplier over here. You can always join my Patreons if you would like to support the channel. 😊 www.patreon.com/user
BS Sunset is only available from duty free shops in Australia. They have been closed for around 18 months. Aldi were flogging the litre bottles. Needless to say I gave it a miss.

You’re welcome big easy. As soon as Bombay bring out a good one, I’ll be the first to shout about it! 👍

You’re very welcome Marianna 😊
Nothing like a cheap Vodka. Taste like a cologne and burn your bout.

i really like the ki no bi gin, which i feel like has a peppery taste, but i dont really like bombay sapphire, i feel like its quite aggresive.
“Kind of like a choice between a dogs poo and a cats poo” 😂😂😂
Another one bites the dust... I was quite hopeful for this one too! Oh well...
If I recall you also gave a 2nd Bombay Sapphire a good review - the limited edition English Estate
Ah yeas! I forgot about that one Martin! I’ll be sure to correct myself in the next episode 👍

have you tried farage gin yet ?
Well, I guess you can polish your silverware with it. I sure as hell won't be drinking this swill. Thanks for another great video, as always!
You’re welcome Gene! 😊
Bombay sapphire is the equivelent of Ginsters Cornish Pasties - I only got into Gin 3 months ago and know to avoid ALL Bomb bay Sapphire.
Do you like Sloe Gin? wanted to make a sloe gin fizz but didnt know what its like or how its different from the others
I like the Bombay Original but was disappointed with the Bombay East. I’ll pass on this one, stick with what I know I like.
Very wise Kevin
I love Bombay with Martini & Rossi's Vermouth, just the same way as you would with tonic. In my opinion, Bombay never works with tonic.

Thanks Tosdi! I love reading your message ❤️
That classic turpentine botanical, infused with chlorine essence and a lovely infusion of the finest synthetic citrus flavors ever created in a lab.
I think you should present the show form now on James! 😂😂
Oh well I’ll be getting my dad sipsmith for Father’s Day instead lmao
Bareksten Botanical Gin next :)
Hendrick’s and Bombay Sapphire are the no go gins for me.
Not a fan of Bombay Sapphire but this one is quite nice to me. It makes a good negroni.
3:30 to skip the nonsense
I really don't understand why Bombay is so popular. It's just gross.
It's hard to polish a turd. Pass on Bombay.
