Som many nice gins. I got myself a Kings Court Gin from France.€9.45,- I kid you not. And really nice tasting. Why spending so much money on a nice looking bottle with paint thinner, right?
as a bartender i love to use East for 5:1 martini. it delivers a strong floral gentle citrusy and black peppercorn taste from the first sip. the problem is the temperature. first u r using room temperature bombay east mixed with a strong tonic(try chilled thomas henry)which over powered the flavor from bombay, with 0 dilution. so… you know
As someone who used to exclusively have Seagrams dry gin on deck sapphire east gives me a better taste than Beefeater and Tanqueray honestly I love it for sure of course as a fan of IPA I chase that citrus flavor and I can literally drink bombay east like water love the stuff!
Bobby, before I found you on youtube someone gave me a bottle of Bombay gin,I had one g-n-t out of the bottle, and that was two years ago,it is still in my Man cave bar, sitting on the side, good video, cheers.
In Australia BS East has been only available in Australia from duty free retailers. Until a couple of weeks or so, when ALDI started selling it. Obviously due to COViD, Bacardi Martini have been unable to shift through the DF retailers and have loads just sitting in their warehouse. When I went to my local branch the other day looking for something else, there were plenty of bottles available. Remembering your recommendation, I didn't buy any.
Bombay Sapphire was my first exp with gin. someone mixed with water and gave it to me at a party. God, I hated it. After a year or so, someone bought beefeater and tonic water. From then on, I have couple of bottles at my home always!!
Another great video, Bobby! I hope now you've learned your lesson regarding Bombay Sapphire. I have one steadfast rule regarding this gin. If it says "Bombay Sapphire" on the label, I refuse to drink it! It's absolute swill.
gene bigs Definitely Gene. Apparently the people from Bombay Sapphire have watched my reviews! Hope they take head of everyone’s comments agreeing with me!
Bombay sapphire was the gin i drank to learn to love gin...but I don't want to drink it now. Mind you, a good cocktail can redem all faults....either way, 20 years of gin drinking has steered me in other directions. Right now is Plymouth and oj. Best gin from memory is gray whale. Edit Bombay of is superior to sapphire. Double edit, don't like beefeater the base ver at least.

Like my ex boyfriend. Nice looking on the outside, foul smelling chemical waste dump on the inside.

I'm in the middle of my first ever bottle of this, and I absolutely love it.
Good stuff.

Here he is… The Uncle Roger of Bombay Sapphire Gins
On the occasions I drink, I can only ever find it in HK, Indonesia and a few other escrows. I like the citrus.

Actually you *can* improve something by simply adding on to the original recipe *however* the recipe needs to *good* to begin with.
¿
Very good point ! 😂
I can’t credit someone who dose a tasting by adding tonic before actually tasting the product on its own…
Would love to see you review Tanqueray Rangpur. It's one of my favorites!
Hi Mia, I like it too. Bobby has done a review on it.
Zeddington you’re right, I found it. Thanks!
Zeddington
You beat me to it!!
@@nononsensegindrinking5152 Bobby, could you please look at reviewing Tanqueray Malacca?
Zeddington
Yes! Don’t worry, it’s already on the list and coming soon! 😊

I'm not fond of it either. I actually picked up two .750 bottles for 10 US dollars a piece. I was obviously wowed by the price 🤑😂😭

HAHAHA 4:10 dam YOU bombay
Lost me at ... Don't like Sapphire
Worst Gin I've ever had. I dislike it even more than the original.
I haven't even tried the original. How do they compare to Seagram's Extra Dry Gin?
Shawn Seesengood
Glad you agree Shawn 😊
please dont spend my money on paint thinner ;-)
😂😂😂 I’m using it to clean the drains next week!
