I'm glad you mentioned the water. For me it is a little heavy on the burn. I can drink most scotch and bourbon but this one is a tad harsh. On face value it almost has more in common with a bourbon than a scotch. Teaspoon of water and it opens up just great. I do wonder how well to balance the water with the whiskey in the future. Overall, a decent dram, but in my case needs some water.
