    Re $9 bread. I have a 9 in 1 Breville multi-cooker. One of the 9 is bread maker, 5kg mix costs ~$15, = 20 loaves, + the smell when it's baking. I also use powdered milk, make as needed, less storage, weight, rubbish.

    Cape York is a little underwhelming. 'Unless' you ride there by motorbike and are given a bucket bong by 2 locals that renders you incapable of walking for 3 hours and leave you in 40 degree heat with a frozen 2 litre bottle of water and a handshake farewell. 'Then' it's quite memorable...

      Yeah for most things. I'm in France now and groceries are for sure cheaper here. Cheese waay cheaper.

      Remote Australia is expensive. Most places are much cheaper.
