    Cutscenes for Bounty Hunter
    Osara Mari
    Female, Cathar, Dark
When she was a girl, Osara and her sisters were taught five important lessons: (1) Only the strong prevail. (2) Talent, guile, and credits are key to happiness and survival. If you're not thriving, you're not surviving. (3) Mercy is how you get yourself killed. (4) A job is a job is a job, finish the job. (5) Never let anything come between you, your family, and your credits.
When the Mandalorians began attacking worlds in the Outer Rim territories, Kiar was on Cathar with his family. The attack on his world was brutal. While they fought furiously to defend their home, the Cathar were no match for the swift, ruthlessness of the Neo-Crusaders. Kiar, however, was clever and touched by the Force. He and his brother defended their family with guerilla tactics, bested several Mandalorians, stole their armor and ship, and escaped. Or so they thought.
The owner of the stolen ship, Koda Mari, had seen the entire affair and snuck aboard his ship before it got far. First, he'd planned to avenge his clansmen. However, when he witnessed the sheer devastation of their world, he hesitated. Yes, they loved a challenge and lived for the thrill of the hunt. But there was no glory or honor in destroying the weak. No matter what Mandalore the Ultimate said, there was no honor in genocide. And those who dealt unnecessarily in blood were usually revisited with it in equal measure. He saw that in the death of his father.
Instead of destroying the fleeing Cathar, Koda chose to help them by keeping them on the grounds of his grand estate. They had housing and forest land to hunt. He taught them how to fight and survive. Multiple generations of the Kiar Family secretly lived among the Mandalorians on the estate and learned their culture and customs. Some joined clan Mari. They hid in plain sight, at times, concealing their identity by never removing their helmets.
They learned from history that you must be strong always, every moment, and never give an inch. These hardened Cathar grew both a respect and hatred for Mandalorians. Generations past, few remained as they got wind of Cathar survivors and colonies looking to rebuild. Some became mercenaries and smugglers.
Of this family of mercenaries, bounty hunters, and smugglers were three sisters, Osara, Asami, and Omira.
