I've learned and still learning a lot about how our inner dialogue creates or at least calibrates our reality and reality is opportunities, possibilites, changing.
We all have experienced how a good unexpected joke made us feel alive again. Because we tend to get safe in our own strategies of telling the same boring script the whole time then when someone with a sharpen mind and soft spirit comes to our life he/she just put some lubricate on our joints. They fill some bad and useless patterns of thoughts with some fresh ones, they accelerate our slow motion self boring talking about serious things. I noted that serious conversation all the time make people dumb faster than no having any conversation at all.
Been over exposed to so many repetitive emotional (and many of them powerless/passive/needing/fearful and or doubtful) content is making people too passive. They don't feel they can make any change in their own life anymore. Reality is intangible, no one can measure it, you can only describe reality by your own perception, and perception is a complex thing it relates to our health, relationships, past memories, expectations and so on is impossible to just minimize reality to a few boring words.
It's important to update our inner dialogue, because it guides our confirmation bias, it dictates our expectation, it sets our self suggestions, it triggers placebo effect (also psychosomatic). This is not to live a delusional life, it is to enjoy what we already have. No one teaches you to make marketing of your own life for yourself. People only teaches you to make your life good to others, exposing your good things to people who don't even care about your day to day.
Life is perceived through your body, without a body you can't experience life, and your body is linked to your mind. If your update your thoughts, upgrading the way you structure your thoughts you will shift your way to expect your senses to perceive reality.
It's quite obvious that your new thoughts will giide you to improve your overall health because to face the next level. Blood circulation, breathing, new outfit, photos, songs, places, people, job, dreams.
Confidence is sexy, you need to become the best version of you, no one can, just you.

Melina has so much to share, and it was a pleasure listening her touching up on the subject of biohacking, and her excitement about the upcoming biohacking conferences in Spanish-speaking communities. Also, this is a whole another level of conversation. Jim actively listened with genuine interest, brought out the most interesting topics with soothing calmness, and then summarized them at the end. And all that concentration and real-time memorizing (parallel processing really) looks so easy when he does it. This is a true mastery. The interview was well-controlled for the media format, but it never felt rushed. Thank you for presenting what is possible with a consistent mind development program. I bought his book "Limitless" last year, but I've been practicing "shelf-help" with it. I'm going to read one chapter right now.

I once asked my sister (psychology major), “Do you ever get sick off of annoyed with your self-talk?” To which she replied, “No,” and I was baffled. My sister tends to talk in a lower-pitch voice and I notice I get really annoyed (and migraine prone) to high-pitched singers and even my own voice if I’m talking in a higher pitch. I’d thought about this concept about our external voice but never in relation to our internal. Looking forward to trying this!

You might think you can grasp every detail as it’s presented to you, but this is how much information you’re actually getting. [2:40]
When it comes to your self-talk, this is how most people convey what they believe. [3:24]
Use ‘The James Bond Rule’ to reengineer your self-talk. Listen to Melina describe what this is. [4:04]
This is why ‘the James Bond Rule’ works, and why you should use it when you talk to yourself and others. [6:20]
Melina’s favorite rule is this one, and you can start using it right now. [7:53]
Most people fall somewhere in between these two spectrums when they talk. Here’s how to change your tone to communicate confidence. [9:31]
Your unconscious mind wants to listen to you when you talk in this type of voice. [10:53]
This is the first nonnegotiable Melina has when it comes to biohacking. [11:49]
A new realization led Melina to her second nonnegotiable. [13:39]
Your words are powerful. And it’s not only what you say, but how you say it. [15:31]

Even I recently just discovered myself that when we speak in a questioning way it leads to self doubt and we feel less confident and when we speak in the form of a sentence with a full stop or exclamation it sounds so positive, saying and hearing the positive tone helps in being confident..

    • @Cclokeanddagga
      @Cclokeanddagga ปีที่แล้ว

These people are subtle deceivers or maby they have been deceived them selves.
In this world there is objective reality and then there is the subjective symbolic map of reality which is projected on to the world in a healthy person your conscious experience is a balance of both. The objective reality is the foundation it is rooted in the body raw sense and the inate intuitions you where born with like feeling, expectations, morality, beauty, God etc... these make you interpret event in a human way its objective because the intuitions are universal its human nature.
From the day you where born your taking in sensed impressions of the world onto the symbolic map and patterns can be picked up allowing you to gain insight into your own nature.
We live in a system that attacks are intuitions and cuts us off from the foundation this is the real cause of human suffering. Suffering and pain are not the same. The worst part is when cut off you take symbolic representations of reality as reality you can chop up reality and interpret it in a infinite No of ways its all delution. From this deluded point of view you can say you creat reality (the projection) you and everything are one even are modern individualistic life is just another way of chopping it up.
The real cause of are modern problems is that we are living in a post enlightenment paradigm. The tabularraza that we are blank slates to be worked on. This idea is half false, its not true but it can be made to become the true. This happens when, through various means, the people are made to take the symbolic representations of reality in place of actual reality and so everything becomes a social construct. The deeper you fall into it the more your intire reality is manipulated. This cuts you of from you intuitions, from your human essence. This is what leave people feeling empty or like there is somthing profoundly wrong with the world.
You can think of culture as a kind of accumulated knowledge ment to help you quickly adapt to the reality of life. It is ment to be based in human experience. Modern culture is unnatural and constructed from the top dawn, it should be more properly called social engineering. That is the real problem.
Knowledge and awareness are whats important. Knowledge you accrue over time but your awareness can be limited or have blind spots which then effect your knowledge. The best exercise to help in all areas of life are exercises that expand awareness. We live in the fabric of society, businesses governments institutions, its all just people, human being just like you. When you expand your awareness you can intuitively gain knowledge of the world because its just knowledge of people, its intrinsic
For example the extream stress of hatred meditation (our upbringing dose not acknowledge righteous anger-an easyblind spot) its the earliest emotion to roots you in the body.
These ideas are from the book cultivating power: the art of self development its by khan khattak you can surch for it in amazon.
Lets say you want to amplify anger. In the book it says you would cume up with 3-4 scenarios where you would naturally feel anger. E.g. someone disrespecting you in public, another man trying to seduce your wife etc.. now dont try to force the feeling aggressively just go through each of the 4 scenarios and then keep switching between them at random and the emotion running throughout will become amplifyed on its own. You can keep pushing it further and further antil you reach your limit. Naw wave your hand as fast as you can so its blurred and naw your amped try to see your fingertips clearly. Rest repeat for 3 set dont do the exercise again for at least 2 weeks. Hope it helps

Jim kwik: "Is not something you have is something you *do"*
Melina Vicario: "Is not something you have is something you *are"*
To do or express something in more consistent and potent way you not only think of the actions you must do, but instead you connect this actions with some type of identity. "I'm the guy who listens podcast and writes for 1 hour per day each morning and afternoon /I'm a professional writer."

Amazing. Thank you so much. This was inspiring to me. Going through perimenopause, I was actually beginning to accept the action and happy when I experience changes.
    Thank you Jim Kwik!!!
I love listening to you and your guests.

The whole tone Valium and how you speak when you speak low your vocal cords sends off a vibration much deeper then if you talk lighter.

I invite you to respond to this question⬇️. I thank you in advance! I am one of those bubbly spirits that often has a high inflectional tone. My CADENCE and intonation are usually quite authoritative, however. When I say things like “thank you so much!” I’m noticing that my pitch is high but the inflection is still solid. Do you think this still fits within the James Bond standard mentioned in this video? Do you think such a tone can still be authoritative and certain? 12:54 I look forward to your response!

Hi dear! From what I read, I would say you are applying the rule. Most important is to check with the effect. What is the effect in the other person? Maybe you can ask someone you trust will give you an honest reply? Let me know. Hugs!!

Based on research, Albert Mehrabian has concluded that only 7% of feelings and attitudes take place through the words we use in spoken communications, while 38% take place through tone and voice, and the remaining 55% take place through body language. This Mehrabuan Rule also applies to self-talk as well as listening to another person.
Even children respond to the tone of voice of the parent before they even register the words.
