My LG stopped making ice. I changed the filter and purged water until it stopped spitting. Water continues to dispense, but no ice. I turned ice maker off and on, and also pushed reset button and tray did the twist like it should. Still no ice.

I was in a very bad accident Hurt my back so it’s hard for me to defrost the refrigerator and where to put the food.. I called LG they will charge $399 for repair man to come and look and do the same thing he did before .. Ty

Best explanation sir. I have an LG refrigerator that I bought in 2011. Its not like the one that you have in the video. The Filter is round and short. And I find that my ice is not making regular. I just checked my water level, and I think it the pressure was to low. I also have the temperature at 0 for the freezer. And 37 degrees Fahrenheit. I am in a hot country in the Caribbean Island. But use to live in Montreal Canada. This is where I bought all my appliances. I then moved back to the Caribbean.

I have LG fridge LMX 27626s-2016 model and make no ice. Tested and water is on but did not frozen for 3 days. Then freezer set for -2°F, wait for 3 days, water still liquid. But one of 2 vents was not blowing cold air. Foods in freezer thawn/soft. Water poddle collected in the bottom tray, and rubber pad on inverter compressor melted, it must be very hot to have the pad melt stick on the tray beneath the compressor. Tested several times no error codes to be seen.
Thanks for showing the dumping action, I thought it was binding up on that one end of the tray but it looks like it is designed to. After I found the reset button, it dumped and then filled back up, so hopefully, it's working now. It basically stopped working and wouldn't dumb the ice.

My ice maker will make ice but it won't dispense into the bin. I have to reset to get it to dispense ice. I replaced ice maker and it is still doing same thing. @@LGUSASupportWe have a linear compressor model and have had many issues with the ice maker. I’ve gotten it going a couple times but everytime we have a power outage the whole fridge stops working. I reset the device in the back and clear the codes and it’ll work but often not the ice maker. It is down again, the freezer is plenty cold but it seems that the ice maker part is not getting cold enough. I don’t feel anything coming out of the air vents when the doors open and they are not cold to the touch. I’m putting a thermometer in it tonight to see what it’s at. It seems LG has a lot of ice maker issues, I love the fridge though but that’s one of my favorite functions so I’m hoping I can get it going again.

Slowest ice maker I have evereeen. I saw the remark in consumer reports and never thought it would be this bad. Glad I live alone and yes I had a get together with 6 other people and I was running to the store and buying ice no wonder this model was on a big sale. Tooooo late now!
