The ring is interesting, but I don’t like that they simply award it flatly to the highest world athletics score - certain events are at an inherent disadvantage in this case.
Men’s hammer throw, women’s shot put, women’s hammer throw (and just women’s events in general) tend to be harder to score higher in. In fact, world athletics itself has stated that their scores are not to be used to compare between men’s and women’s events because they are not comparative to each other. I think it would be great if they had a prize for both the highest women’s and men’s scores, and possibly even track and field.

Further, If I am right, he has done more jumps over 6m now than Bubka did in his whole career (correct me if I am wrong). He also squash the competition more than he did. Although the competition by means of present media and technique can study him more closely than they could Bubka in his days, to find his secrets. I think he can tie 6 world champ gold as well, not 35 world records as outside/indoors the same now. However, he will come close to 6.40 is my belief. To tie Bubkas dedication for a long lasting career will be the greatest challenge and not quitting bored or due to injuries.

The 3000m WR is one of the hardest ever and Jakob would have to break it by over 2 secs (which he unbelievably did) but Mondo would just have to do 6.17 when he has been jumping 6.25. I think they should reconsider their pole scoring system since the equipment has evolved.
You can't compare the points done for a 6,15 jump done with the 1980's poles to the ones done with today's much lighter, carbon poles that store and return a lot more energy
