I love this stuff! I use it once a day for breakfast or lunch. Add almond milk, almond butter, dates, collagen powder, hemp seeds and a banana, it leaves me full and is delicious!
Lauren...I did notice I had to add fruit or other foods in the mixer to fill me up. I was a bit disappointed I had to do that as I had hoped It would fill me up on it's own considering the price.
I luv all the flavors .. But chocolate is probably my favorite. I don’t like to put a lot into it , just half banana.. ice and water:almond or oat milk .
the way you put the video together and your talking about it is very well put together and i appreciate that structure. made it super easy to sit through. nice.
Might be the first time I seen this guy. Absolute good unbiased review. We need more like this. I haven’t subscribed to a reviewer, but I think I will now👍🏿👍🏻
I like that you mention the fundamental law about weight loss, calories in versus calories burned, and I've seen so many diets out there that seem to ignore that law and ultimately fail. I've had successful weight loss with a basic diet and exercise regimen that still included "splurge foods" from time to time, so long as I just managed the caloric burn in relation to intake.
I am exact opposite. I am just not hungry and need nutrients. Just ordered it, hopefully it will be helpful. Your comments were extremely helpful going forward. Thank you so much Mr. Handsome Man.
Thank you so much!!! Your review is basicly what I need to hear, I eat healthy and was seeking a fill in that was going to actually provide nutrients... 3x a week is exactly where I saw the void. THANKS again
Love the honesty and detail. I actually drink this everyday, usually paired with a salad/snack for lunch. I wanted an update on the thing I consume, to see if I made the right purchase. I think I've been drinking it for roughly a year now. It was always in the back of my mind to try and since it is pricier than others, I was hesitant. But like you said, it's packed with nutrients that I don't get in a regular cooked meal so it gives me peace of mind that I'm doing some good for my body. Chocolate and Matcha are my favorite. I never mix the Matcha but fresh berries with the chocolate is sometimes heavenly. Thank you for posting your take on this product.
I use it for breakfast only and love it. No hunger pangs because I've never been a breakfast person. It's a great nutrient boost at the start of the day.
I just bought some during black Friday to try it at a discount. I have to say that I personally think it tastes better than organifi (of which, I've tried the vanilla and chocolate flavors), and being that I am only 4'10", I only used one scoop instead of the recommended 2 scoops. I also added a frozen banana instead of ice cubes and cashew milk (the same as I did for organifi). I am going to go try the chocolate, since I opened it like a dufus, because I didn't read the part on freshness. Now I will have to drink it every day and it's a good thing that it's winter in AZ. Liked and subscribed. Thank you for doing reviews. One last thing, I want to mention that it wasn't too bad on my gut (I've had to have surgery to have my gallbladder out (pregnancy hormones); it's been 7 years now since that happened, and this didn't bother me too badly.), I just wanted to mention that in case someone in a similar situation found this info helpful.
Anna...nice discount and thanks for the sub! Also, glad to hear your stomach handled it well! I only got the "bloated" feeling if I drank it 2 x a day.
Hesitated to try. Thanks for gallbladder news, as mine out years, but do have issues now & then. I’m 4’11” 137. Trying to get down to 125. Sedentary as neuropathy L3, right hip pain and bowels not daily. So your info very helpful.”)
It has some dig. enzymes in it. Never mix Fats and Carbs. Skip the banana for sure. 1 scoop is fine. Whole foods are better but as a supplement this is good. I think the 1 month thing is to force people to do a subscription. Just seal the bag up tight- cool, dark place. I would not worry too much. Dr. Berg sells good Dig. Enzymes. That is what I use. Had mine out too- m a n y people have. We are not alone my friend. FYI- if IT floats, that is not great- means there is still undigested fat in it. We also need to digest that FAT so we can get out Fat. Sol. Vits. like A, D, E and K. You might want to supplement to make sure. I do. In the bathroom, you want to see it sink. Sorry to be gross but keeping it real. It's just food really. Did you lose or gain weight? I lost weight- my friend gained. My BMI is 20.
I have a shake pretty much 5 days a week once a day for breakfast. On the off days, I shake up a bottle of AG. I use the chocolate Ka’chava in organic coconut water and add a handful of red raspberries and a handful of blueberries. The taste is AWESOME. Totally tastes like I’m cheating on some diet, lol. The four big obvious results for me are 1. Mental clarity. Definitely noticed this about 2 weeks into the routine. 2. Weight loss. After about a month I dropped about 9 pounds and was not focusing on trying to lose weight. I just wasn’t eating as much in other meals because I wasn’t super hungry. It just came off and went down another hole in the belt. Cool!! 3. My skin feels and looks healthier for sure. I’m an Irish freckle face that gets dry skin pretty easy. But with no intentional focus on skin care, the dry skin issue is WAY down. Almost to nothing actually. That’s also cool. No more snow storms if I scratch my arm, lol. 4. Much better sleep. When I go down, these days I’m into quite obvious REM sleep and my dream clarity is interestingly memorable (TMI, lol, especially the ones where, well, you know, lol). I wake up energized and at 57 this has been a VERY welcome situation. Overall with the results I’m getting, I think is worth the seriously bloat d price of these products. If the quality of the ingredients is actually as high grade as advertised, I’ve been in the game of product creation using the “cost is of no consequence if performance produces real results” when I developed my DERMA Rescue skin lotion (one of these days I’m going to get that stuff back out in the market dang it, lol). There are plenty of folks like me out there that will gladly pay a handsome premium for truly impactful positive results. So I’m staying the course with both Ka’Chava and AG for sure. 👍🏻😎👍🏻
Great review and more thorough than most! Thank you! I'm taking it twice a day, with one normal meal, for the next five days to see if I lose weight. Today is the first day, and I actually did feel full after drinking it when blending with ice. We will see.
You answered a lot for me. I'm waiting a meal replacement to start my day and meal prep lunch and possibly meal replacement for dinner in hopes of loosing some weight and this isn't gonna cut it because I suffer from grassiness too already
I recently got into kachava. They got me with the hyper aggression advertisements. Right now I can honestly say I crave it. Totally unscientific but I notice for myself my skin and nails are looking better. My husband also said his nails are growing faster. Our diet was poor before hand so someone who already had a great diet might not notice this. I’m not truly hungry after my shake, but I don’t feel full either. I have a lot of weight to lose so this is probably normal.
I have a bag of vanilla and a bag of chocolate. They’ve been sitting in my pantry for months unopened 😂. Anyways, I need to check them out but I don’t do well with milk. Are you guys mixing it with water? Or milk?
@@zwalker4146 Ive seen reviews where its mixed with water..and another that mixed with coconut water. Apparently the chocolate blended with coconut water, a banana and large spoon full of peanut butter tastes really good.
I have never tasted a better meal replacement shake as delicious as it. It’s helps people who wean off of unhealthy foods an the ingredients are a work of art. I have never seen anything even remotely as healthy as Kachava.
Be Kind, it does taste good and is filled with a lot of good stuff. My three biggest complaints are that it is not filling enough, for me, for a meal replacement drink (unless I add ingredients to help), it’s not NSF Certified for Sport (even though it’s made in an NSF Certified facility) and it’s really expensive. But it is about 90% healthier than a lot of “fast food” alternatives, and that’s a huge plus.\
Nice review. I generally will use 1 scoop instead of the 2 scoops=1 serving. But I do mix other foods/fruits/nuts/etc. in with it and I do have other inexpensive protein powders that I use in unison with Kachava when I am working out. So, I try to stretch it out a bit longer than the 15 servings as listed on the bag. I have tried the coconut acai and the chai and I really like the taste of both. I will be placing another order soon and will try the chocolate and the matcha on this next order. I'm generally already a healthy person so I can't say that Kachava alone gives me more energy or whatever but I figure that with those ingredients that it would do more good for me than anything else-so I continue to take it.
Do sprout your nuts (and not many) at least 24 hrs room temp. water on counter. Walnuts are better then Almonds (Oxalates.) Doing this is very important. Do not eat fruits especially blended- fructose. Horrid actually because of what the Randle Cycle teaches. You are MIXING Fats and Carbs. It is a really unhealthy practice despite the foods themselves appearing to be good for you.
@jaymcmb, thanks for watching. If you are looking for something like this with more calories, I would try Huel Black. It's the cleanest meal replacement drink Huel makes and it's 400 calories...so a lot more filling.
One more thing, I use almond milk instead of water. Yes it adds to the calorie intake and cost but it does help with the hunger cravings. Thx again…Gene
Not really. It adds phytic acid- blocks absorption of other nutrients. It adds carbs- bad. It adds yucky fillers- bad. Make your own using a few walnuts- not almonds.
Well said... I am in the 4th month also and have experienced all the same. I had to start out with just 1 scoop per day to get my body used to it. And now doing 2 scoops smoothie with frozen banana berries and peanut butter every other day one meal replacement. It has helped my cravings and balanced out my emotional being. Overall like it one bag chocolate every month and trying matcha next. Thank you this was really good.
Do you know it is horrible to mix fats and carbs. Randle Cycle. Just don't do it. Very, very bad actually. This meal has fats in it and you are mixing it essentially with candy. That can really harm you.
good review I've gone thru a couple of bags and at first it felt like my body was absorbing it like a sponge and it tasted amazing to me. I noticed my fingernails became super healthy and improvement to my skin and overall health. After awhile it wasnt hitting me the same... started feeling the bloatedness and was craving more real food. I took a break from it. I was thinking the 3 days a week would be best.
I noticed that It kills my appetite, but I bought it originally as a whole food supplement as opposed to taking a multi because it’s so nutrient packed. Unfortunately it’s so overpriced, I can’t see myself staying on it.
I don't think it's pricey at all. It's sold as a meal replacement. How much do you normally spend on a meal? How much does a KaChava shake ( two scops of powder) cost? I checked. 60 dollars a bag. 15 servings per bag. That's 4 dollars a serving. Four dollars a meal. How often are you spending significantly less than four dollars for a meal?
@@jonhohensee3258 OK chief, we can play this game all day long, but I’ll spare you the heartache. You go on and drink your little protein powders and have fun with that so called “meal replacement”. I guess PT Barnum was correct.
I purchase this a week ago I drink it once a day I notice a difference in my body the very first week I wasn't feeling tired I am breathing better I feel better my energy level went up I only drink it once a day I feel that's enough 30 minutes late I have me a nice meal and I'm good sleeping better wake up feeling good try it for yourselves you want be disappointed ❣️
Well I took the leap and subscribed for regular Kachava deliveries as it saves a bunch of $$. It is very interesting to hear you say you’re not hungry after a workout. Same here. I do long distance bike rides and almost have to force calories during and right after. Id love to understand what’s up with that. I too will be adding fruit, coconut water and peanut butter etc to make a true meal “replacement” from kachava. I used it twice a day for a recent road trip and had no side effects but was very hungry. Kachava has advertised a protein bar too. Unless they have some way to sample I won’t be buying that. Already have a bunch of bars in the cupboard I’ll only eat when the world collapses and I’m ready to eat neighbors.
Let me know how it goes Mark. I actually did a review on their bars as well. Check this out here if you want to th-cam.com/video/KYknt7YOmx8/w-d-xo.html
@@HappyNHolistic I really love the stuff and have stayed on it. I use oat milk, add some low sugar vanilla yogurt, mix in some frozen fruit from Costco to get variety as well as some calories to burn during the first hours of the day when I’m most active. I’ve recently read some studies advising against eating for a few hours prior to extended endurance type activities. I take the Kachava shake two hours before I ride a bicycle around 20-30 miles per day and take about 2 oz gel fuel about twice during a ride depending on intensity. i feel good about the ingredients in Kachava. I think I’m a long term fan.
@@markrobinson891 Oat milk is horrible for your body unless you love inflammation and antinutrients and pesticides and fillers in your drink...and carbs that you are now mixing with fats. Very bad.
@@MOAB-UT Yes. I’ve decided to take a pass on oat milk. water is fine. Sometimes I’ve used goat milk which makes a more rich creamy shake. I’m looking for some variety. I remain a fan of the product. Also, I’ve tried the protein bars. Not bad. I keep them on hand for when I’m away from food and need something handy. Better flavor compared to most if not all others I’ve tried and much better ingredients list.
So I bought this to get back into living a healthy fitness lifestyle after a year of eating garbage and not working out. Hoping this stuff will improves my blood work too! The Logo brand and countless ads of fully rested single hipsters without kids drinking this out of a mason jar made me buy it.
I'm a subscriber, and I get around the feeling full issue by taking some EVOO with it. After all, we do need healthy fats, too. And this way, I satisfy my chocolate cravings as well. 😊
This review is completely what I have experienced. I started using it every day because the fact is that I always skip meals and I just don’t eat right. It does not satisfy as a meal replacement but goes well with a roast beef sandwich for me. On its own, you stay hungry. I have been feeling better since using it regularly. And you’re dead on about the gas! I don’t bloat, but…. It’s also a little expensive. I’ll keep using it as a supplement
This stuff sound like from your review is not a good meal replacement that doesn't fill you up. Too expensive to buy for a snack. A great review and thanks
Brettm41, I’m my opinion it’s more of a nutritional protein powder. But no, it doesn’t fill me up unless it’s right after a workout. I think Huel Black might be the better choice as it has 400 calories which helps me feel fuller.
I’m bedfSt except for walker use. This saves me for my strength of a morning. I have an afternoon meal but the KaChauva saves me of a morning. Love it.
I came to the same conclusion about the stuff. The nutrition is awesome but it's definitely no substitute for real food. That being said if you make a lot of smoothies anyway it's a very easy way to add some calories and vitamins to your diet!
Enjoyed the unbiased review.. *subscribed* was considering this product along with switching to a mushroom based coffee alternative but I don’t think I will since I’ve been doing clean keto for years and the carbs are too high. Plus I saw another review that questioned some of the necessity of the added vitamins and such. I already have a vitamin subscription from care/of and I was trying to find a one stop shop product. I also don’t like eating breakfast. This product is REALLY expensive though 🤔
I did this review about a year ago. The way it's worded on Ka'Chava's website is confusing. It says "Proudly produced in the USA in world-class facilities certified by:"...then it lists the different organizations. So does that mean that the facilities it uses are NSF certified, etc., but the product isn't? I haven't purchased Ka'Chava for a while so I'm not sure if it has "NSF Certified For Sport" is on it's packaging or not. I would think that if it was, like other products, it would gladly display that on it's packaging. www.kachava.com/pages/quality
I just got this yesterday, still trying to figure out how much water and ice to blend. Second time was much better, the first time I added too much ice and it was too thick and more watered down. I like it as a smoothie drink. I’m excited about the health benefits. I had mine for breakfast and it did a really good job (for me) of controlling my appetite. I wasn’t hungry until lunch. Thanks for your review. I’m still getting used to the taste. Again it might be too watered down.
Awesome Eve! It took me a bit to get the right water to Ka'Chava ratio as well. I finally settled on 10oz water and 5 ice cubes, and that was the perfect texture for me. Once you get it down it will be even easier to make!
I drink a lot of protein drinks. My combo is 1 cup of crushed ice. One cup of water. But I also add 2 oz banana, 1 oz. avocado, 1 tblsp of flaxseed for nutritional reasons and desired thickness. Occasionally I add PBfit for a really fun different treat.
I love it drink it every morning but I use 3 scoops and a little oatmilk or creamer. It's definitely not a full meal replacement but it is an amazing product.
@@FitnessFinance4u Yep I get them off ebay cheaper plus I only eat 1 meal a day besides that morning drink. I'm only eating at certain hours of the day.
The pro strat is to use this instead of a protein shake and otherwise eat whole foods. Kachava is nice in that it tends to cover whatever nutrition gaps you have. I do: Whole Food Big Meal Protein Shake Whole Food Big Meal Kachava Yields great results and increased sleep/athletic performance
Thanks for your honest review and for mentioning still hungry and for how this product might affect your stomach.. The thought of finding a filling mrp is a fantasy since it takes me 2days to cook, prep, package freeze about $150 worth of decent food and pull frozen cooked prepped meats and poultry out of freezer to thaw during the course of the week.. Sometimed I forget and have to carefully buy fast food. I think that Maybe I will try using an mrp along with my refrigerated starch and organic veggie But I have had a hard time trying to find a good one without side effects or artificial sweeteners or all good ingredients except for one or two that I am allergic to.. On some labels I get excited reading until I see ginseng or macca or some other thing that disagrees with me badly.. It's such a downer.. I think to myself... No wonder why their are so many people who designed their own.. It was also nice to mentioned that you might have to beef the shake up with a banana or something to make it more filling.
Hi Curt! Great balanced review and video. I’m a new subscriber and will check out your other videos. Just curious, is there a similar NSF certified product that you like and recommend?
Welcome Laurie, and thanks for subscribing. I'm actually looking into a Ka'Chava competitor, and if I find one, will do a review on that as well. Cheers!
Thank you for your unbiased reviews. What I personally noticed between your first review of KaChava and your 4 month review is your skin tone. Maybe it’s the lightning but you’re skin tone absolutely looks better at 4 months. Just saying…thx again.
Really? That's amazing if that is true. It could also be the lighting and the fact that the new location I'm shooting in gets a lot more natural light? But if my skin does actually look better, maybe I need to order some more Ka'Chava?
I have severe digestive issues so Kachava has been great for me. It is very hard for to digest solid foods...even healthy foods. Honestly I drink Kachava in the morning at 7 am and I don't feel hungry til 3pm. Again I can't eat three meals a day my body can't digest that solid food. Totally love the Coconut Acai...even more the Chocolate...which surprised me because I never eat Coconut.
Thank you sir your video was very helpful I was considering using the product but I will think twice now make sense good to eat something like real food nothing like it especially if you're weight training thanks again sir good review
I was hoping to hear about if you noticed any health benefits as opposed to just whether or not it tastes good and if it’s filling. A lot of this companies display a long list of healthy ingredients but that’s just magician’s misdirection if the amounts are not in the clinically effective doses that have been proven to produce meaningful health benefits.
Steven in Texas, I find it really hard to determine if I feel any health benefits from it. The truth is, I don't, really. But that's kind of the same way I feel about supplements. I take supplements every morning (Vitamin D, C, B-12, Fish Oil, etc.). I can only say that I haven't gotten "really" sick in a while (knock on wood), and after blood tests I'm not "deficient" in any vitamins. But I don't "feel" any different. So unfortunately, hard to judge. One viewer said he thought my skin looked better while I was taking Ka'Chava, but honestly, I didn't notice.
Thanks for the review. I just started the Ka'chava. I actually drink it in addition to my regular meals. I have a difficult if almost impossible task of trying to keep weight on. I've tried the whey drinks....not good. Even with a full breakfast and ka'chava I am hungry an hour later. It's ridiculous! Always hungry!!! Hoping this will help a little bit. I need 10 pounds!!!
See a functional doc. Do you check your blood sugar? My guess is you are carb crashing. Not good. Have you ever tried Keto or Carnivore? These diets help control your ghrelin hormone which signals your brain to eat. Leptin tells it you are full or good. You are using carbs for fuel and energy when you should be using Ketones. What is your BMI? Mine is 20. You can share more details if you want. I know nutrition and wellness very well. Clearly a good Funct. Doc. can test and know more. Not a regular doc. Though you can take those labs to a real wellness person. Docs just want to make you unwell sadly then sell you pills. Watch those Sigs- some can just discharge if bumped.
Your stomach probably got upset from the Maca root, which will cause stomach upset and indigestion if raw and they don’t process or cook it. The reports of high lead previously has me too scared to try it! Does it make you shaky at all? Some other ones have done that to me unfortunately 😅
Okay, just posted a comment on the first review video and then immediately subsequent viewed the 4 month review. I add a half apple which really helps it be more "meal like". I agree with the post exercise use, really seems helpful. I think it's a great weight loss aid when used "as part of a well balanced meal". Thanks for your work, enjoyed. I new subscriber.
I bought it to replace lunch during the week while working from home because I can't be bothered cooking lunch - I would just make a fatty sandwich every day and my dr. told me to eat less bread.. so this was the "healthy way" out of eating a ton of bread.. I add a handful of berries and almond milk. .so I think im turning it into a 400-450 shake, which hopefully packs a lot more nutrients than my previous white bread sandwich with mayo.. I've only recently started using it but we'll see how long I last before I get tired of it I guess
You even look healthier since you first started kachava. I'm sure it has to do with taking care of yourself in other ways but I'm sure the kachava vitamins help 😊 I love kachava. But it tastes weird after sitting a bit . I start tasting the greens more when it sits. Ive been off of it for about a month and missing the benefits. I've lost 76 lbs over the last 10 months. I've been tracking that on my TH-cam. I take Thrive vitamins everyday day since I started my weight loss journey . I'm one weight watchers which I love because of what it's taught me. Appreciate the review. I think I'm going to start getting it again. I've been struggling to get the last 15 lbs off and not sure what's going on . Subscribed ❤️
I have been drinking Kachava for 3 years. No more after this last order. The formula has changed and now doesn't taste good and has more sugar. Usually when a company changes the formula they are going cheaper and after three years you just lost my business! It sucks now! Why you had to ruin a good thing is incomprehensible. I can not even and dont want to drink the two bags i just bought! What a waste of money.
Showing up late here, but Kachava has been my lifeline the past few weeks. I’ve had massive dental issues and this has been a good way to get a high concentration of quality calories that I could eat. It makes breakfast on the go pretty easy, and I know I’m getting a lot of vitamins that come from foods I’m allergic to.
I think is good for diner we all tired from work tired to the end of the day n is gonna fill u up if u add some berries blue berries with almond milk and 6onz of ice n blend it wow delicious n satisfying
Hi Curt, new to your channel. I came across you while researching Ka’chava. Thank you for your honest and informative review. I wondered if you could recommend a protein power? It’s super confusing with all the products out there. I’ve been a vegetarian for a long time but as I’m aging feel that I probably need some extra protein. I’m very active and grateful that I can be. I intermittent fast so a high protein drink for my first meal is what I’m looking for. Any help is appreciated. Have a blessed day.
Hi Dorinda. I'm not an expert, but in my opinion, the two plant based protein powders that I like the most are from Ladder (LeBron James and Arnold Schwarzenegger's company) or from BioSteel. I have a slight preference for Ladder at the moment because of the flavor. Both are low in sugar and I've been very happy with them. Here's a couple of videos I've done on each product. Ladder th-cam.com/video/OPL6zWOjGMM/w-d-xo.html. BioSteel Plant Based. th-cam.com/video/K1MCawsMmB0/w-d-xo.html
I personally just do those non sweetened plant based protein isolate that don’t have any other ingredients. Then you can add other fruits and milk to the shake so you are not getting any unnecessary artificial sweeteners. But it will only be used as proteins since these don’t get added nutrients! (But you can control what you are consuming yourself!)
No. You are feeling very malnourished. Deficient in B';s, A, D, E and K (all FAT soluble.) Plant fats are far inferior. I know. I tried going that route. Lost a gallbladder. It is terrible for health long term. Keto now. Works great.
Good question. I looked through the ingredients and didn't see anything like caffeine in it. And, I don't remember having extra "energy" after drinking it, but maybe some of the organic ingredients could have stimulants in it? Here's a link to the ingredients for it's "vanilla" flavor. www.kachava.com/pages/ingredients
I like Ladder Protein Powder (started by LeBron James and Arnold Schwarzenegger). NSF Certified for Sport. Not a lot of flavor, so I add fruit to help out.
I take it everyday to work for lunch I find that when I'm eating real food I'm not overeating taking it everyday for lunch is shrinking my stomach which is helpful for someone who likes to overeat
Thanks!

Scott...that's amazing. So great that you've got all that positive stuff going on because of Ka'Chava.
Great review and more thorough than most! Thank you! I'm taking it twice a day, with one normal meal, for the next five days to see if I lose weight. Today is the first day, and I actually did feel full after drinking it when blending with ice. We will see.
Thanks New Day Eats. Glad it is filling you up. It did take a while for me to feel that way for sure.
How did it go?
Add some fruits also like black berries blue berries strawberries 😊
You answered a lot for me. I'm waiting a meal replacement to start my day and meal prep lunch and possibly meal replacement for dinner in hopes of loosing some weight and this isn't gonna cut it because I suffer from grassiness too already
Glad I could help!
TheBitterBuddhist...let me know how it goes!
@@zwalker4146 oatmilk goes a long way for us lactose folks
@@zwalker4146 i use ice water.. it already had coconut milk in it.
That was a very good review thank you.
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the great review Kurt it helped allot.
Glad I could help Efrain!
What do you mix it with, I'm fixing to start
Their website shows as of today that they ARE now NSF certified. Thank you for sharing your experience with this product.

Excellent review without exaggeration. Very useful and easy to understand.
Glad it was helpful M Will!
Thank you ... Have been on the fence about trying it
Sally, glad I could help!
Thanks Greg. It sounds like you have a nice Ka’Chava system going there! 🙌
Nice video, also would you recommend a product like this but with more calories per serving so I can actually be full? Thanks
@jaymcmb, thanks for watching. If you are looking for something like this with more calories, I would try Huel Black. It's the cleanest meal replacement drink Huel makes and it's 400 calories...so a lot more filling.
@@FitnessFinance4u I appreciate that
I think that I would use for dessert replacement.
🤣
Thank you so much for this review.
You are so welcome!
One more thing, I use almond milk instead of water. Yes it adds to the calorie intake and cost but it does help with the hunger cravings. Thx again…Gene
Thanks for the tip Gene!
Not really. It adds phytic acid- blocks absorption of other nutrients. It adds carbs- bad. It adds yucky fillers- bad. Make your own using a few walnuts- not almonds.
I take it for breakfast during the week. Then for lunch on the weekend it’s working fantastic for me😁
Adam...sounds like you have a good program going there!
Have you lost weight?
@@h.p.9391 yes if you stick to a good plan you will lose weight
Well said... I am in the 4th month also and have experienced all the same.
I had to start out with just 1 scoop per day to get my body used to it. And now doing 2 scoops smoothie with frozen banana berries and peanut butter every other day one meal replacement. It has helped my cravings and balanced out my emotional being. Overall like it one bag chocolate every month and trying matcha next. Thank you this was really good.
Jody, wow, a two scooper. Respect! 😁
Do you know it is horrible to mix fats and carbs. Randle Cycle. Just don't do it. Very, very bad actually. This meal has fats in it and you are mixing it essentially with candy. That can really harm you.
I just started taking it today. I found your review very informative.
Thanks for checking out my video and I'm glad it helped!
good review I've gone thru a couple of bags and at first it felt like my body was absorbing it like a sponge and it tasted amazing to me. I noticed my fingernails became super healthy and improvement to my skin and overall health. After awhile it wasnt hitting me the same... started feeling the bloatedness and was craving more real food. I took a break from it. I was thinking the 3 days a week would be best.
Thanks for watching! I agree...it's a one or twice a week thing "if needed" because you need a quick meal...but not much more than that for me
Thanks for your honesty.

I noticed that It kills my appetite, but I bought it originally as a whole food supplement as opposed to taking a multi because it’s so nutrient packed. Unfortunately it’s so overpriced, I can’t see myself staying on it.
Yes...very pricey for sure John!
@@jonhohensee3258 Two scoops of a powder is not a “meal replacement”, it’s a diet measure. It’s overpriced.
@@BAR-ct7ti It's a meal replacement shake. NOT overpriced.
@@jonhohensee3258 OK chief, we can play this game all day long, but I’ll spare you the heartache. You go on and drink your little protein powders and have fun with that so called “meal replacement”. I guess PT Barnum was correct.
So I stopped using Kachava and tried four different new ones and went back to Kachava. Nothing stands up to it.
Thanks for sharing your experience with the other brands Fanchon!

This review is spot on.
Thanks @LJ-rx9mm!
Ty for this review helped me make a decision on this product.
Glad I could help Joe!
Mark
Thanks for the chuckle😊.
To me, protein bars are just for emergencies also.
btw, neighbors taste best grilled.
Especially thighs. 😄

@@FitnessFinance4u thx! Yeah I actually workout and reach my goals when I buy something nutrition or fitness related! Ha
I'm a subscriber, and I get around the feeling full issue by taking some EVOO with it. After all, we do need healthy fats, too. And this way, I satisfy my chocolate cravings as well. 😊
Nice!
Thanks for sharing your story!
@@FitnessFinance4u I’d also add that is the best, sorta protein powder out there. They don’t use nasty sugar substitutes with the aftertaste!
Awesome honest review I subbed 💯🙏

I’m bedfSt except for walker use. This saves me for my strength of a morning. I have an afternoon meal but the KaChauva saves me of a morning. Love it.
That's great Patricia!
I came to the same conclusion about the stuff. The nutrition is awesome but it's definitely no substitute for real food. That being said if you make a lot of smoothies anyway it's a very easy way to add some calories and vitamins to your diet!

Great review! 🤙
Thanks E Vail!
Thanks Lady Laxara da Xho! And yes, this product is very expensive! I only order it every few months to mix things up.

I'm not sure when you did your review but this has been certified by NSF along with organic along with multiple other been certified by many companies
How is it going now? I am thinking of trying it. Want to gain a few pounds.
I love it drink it every morning but I use 3 scoops and a little oatmilk or creamer. It's definitely not a full meal replacement but it is an amazing product.
Wow...three scoops. You must be going through a lot of bags!
@@FitnessFinance4u Yep I get them off ebay cheaper plus I only eat 1 meal a day besides that morning drink. I'm only eating at certain hours of the day.

I think that
Maybe I will try using an mrp along with my refrigerated starch and organic veggie But I have had a hard time trying to find a good one without side effects or artificial sweeteners or all good ingredients except for one or two that I am allergic to..
Thanks for watching Robert and appreciate you sharing your story!

Katie...I'm so glad you liked it!
I have severe digestive issues so Kachava has been great for me. It is very hard for to digest solid foods...even healthy foods. Interesting!
Thank you sir your video was very helpful I was considering using the product but I will think twice now make sense good to eat something like real food nothing like it especially if you're weight training thanks again sir good review
Timothy, I have found that "real food" is always the best if you have time to cook!
Thank you for your honest opinion, I was hoping that it would be something I could incorporate in my keto diet, but there’s not enough Fat in it.
Glad I could help Jennifer. I've done Keto before and I remember..."fat is your friend"! 😃

Thanks for sharing your experience Michelle and I hope you find something that works! And of course...thanks for watching!
Some other ones have done that to me unfortunately 😅
farmherjourney, thanks for the insight about the Maca root. I hear you about the lead! It did not make me shaky.

Adam Oe...sounds like you have a good, healthy system there. You probably will have a lot more energy after that lunch!
You even look healthier since you first started kachava. I'm sure it has to do with taking care of yourself in other ways but I'm sure the kachava vitamins help 😊
I love kachava. So true I don’t eat snacks anymore. It’s great reading the comments you all confirm exactly what I think
Thanks for the info!
Showing up late here, but Kachava has been my lifeline the past few weeks. I’ve had massive dental issues and this has been a good way to get a high concentration of quality calories that I could eat.

Hi Curt, new to your channel. I came across you while researching Ka’chava. Thank you for your honest and informative review. I wondered if you could recommend a protein power? It’s super confusing with all the products out there. I’ve been a vegetarian for a long time but as I’m aging feel that
I probably need some extra protein.
Then you can add other fruits and milk to the shake so you are not getting any unnecessary artificial sweeteners. But it will only be used as proteins since these don’t get added nutrients! (But you can control what you are consuming yourself!)
SunWarrior is super clean and plant based.
No. You are feeling very malnourished. Deficient in B';s, A, D, E and K (all FAT soluble.) Plant fats are far inferior. I know. I tried going that route. Lost a gallbladder. It is terrible for health long term. Keto now. Works great.
Do you know if any of the ingredients are stimulating? ie. caffeine like
Good question.
Thank you 😊
You're welcome 😊
What nsf certified protein powders do you recommend?
I like Ladder Protein Powder (started by LeBron James and Arnold Schwarzenegger). NSF Certified for Sport. Not a lot of flavor, so I add fruit to help out.
How does the chai flavor taste like!
ilovegreen324...I haven't tried the chai flavor yet as I haven't been bought any Ka'Chava for a while.
