I am 72 and have been taking AG1 for a month. I spent most of 2022 fighting colon cancer ……chemo, etc. I have Celiacs disease with constipation. Post chemo my immune system and energy level was toast. I also needed medication to maintain a daily bowel movement. Since taking AG1 my energy level has definitely increased. I am experiencing two bowel movements daily. Overall I feel great. I just had my one year colonoscopy and my G.I. Doc said whatever you are doing………keep doing it. I’m excited to see how I feel six months from now.
@@ahmadhusayn539 …because I had to go off of it for several days for another colonoscopy and I needed miralax afterwards. When I restarted AG1 my BMs became regular again. Don’t really care what anyone thinks. My energy level and GI tract are doing well.
I've been taking AG1 for about four months and have noticed a couple of differences. My waking blood glucose levels are noticeably lower. I check my levels every morning and have done so for years and the improvement seems correlated with starting AG1. The other difference is an uptick in deep sleep. Over the past year, I averaged about 1.5 hours of deep sleep and that has gone up to 2 hours a night since starting AG1.
@@eatonhn’t drink caffeine or alcohol in the afternoon, evening, night. An hour or so before bed, try to dim any lights , particularly leds, and try to only light up the room from below, not above. Something like this. There might be a few other things but these are the two i remember
I am 53, I have hypothyroidism, I’m in menopause, and a basic active person. I’ve always taken over the counter vitamins, but I noticed that my nails, toe nails, and hair were suffering. I was losing hair, toe nails fell off, and my nails looked seriously bruised. To me these were all signs of nutritional issues. My daughter was taking this while pregnant because other supplements were making her throw up. December’22 I began taking AG1 because my symptoms were not improving. I did have bloat the first month, but now that’s gone. Five months later my hair is growing and looks full. It’s not falling out in gobs. My toe nails have grown back and only one is left to heal. My nails have all healed too. My daughter also retained her hair and had tremendous growth during pregnancy. I’d say that this is a great product and I have no problem spend the $$ every month.
I’ve been taking AG1 for a little over two years, too, and I feel the same way about the results. Skin, nails, and hair grow like crazy. I struggled my whole adult life (I’m nearly 45 years old) with constipation, but no longer☺️. I would treat it like coffee/caffeinated beverage because if I have it after 3pm, my energy and brain activity is too high for sleep
Really? I tried mine last night for the first time. I didn’t wait for breakfast the next morning 😂. I didn’t have trouble sleeping, but maybe i should be careful
So, you recommend? These days it’s crazy how many people pose as “users” and many of them are real. So, I really want to purchase and hoping it works for me when I do. 👍🏽
It’s the B vitamins , they are stimulants/energy giving so should be taken earlier in the day. Many years ago I started taking vitamin B complex initially not realizing the effect so had sleep problems. Ive been taking AG1 for 3 weeks now, worth the price because of the easy way of taking so many nutrients in one. I am starting to feel some benefits especially with my gut, all those pre and probiotics. 🙂
I spend like $30 every week on fruits/veggies which I use in green smoothies on my Vitamix blender. That’s about $120 a month or more which is more expensive but honestly I know exactly what’s going into my green smoothies
I really hate the way this company claims that there are 12 servings of fruit/veg in one serving of AG1. What they mean is that there's the same amount of antioxidants as 12 servings of veg., Which you can get from a much cheaper multivitamin. But AG1 has got none of the other goodness that real vegetables have, especially fiber. I looked at the ingredients list, and AG1 has roughly 11 grams of powdered plant material in each serving. Even if those plants are normally 90% water, that means the powder contains the equivalent of around 100 grams of veggies. Which isn't even two servings. All this to say: you might be spending more on your whole fruits and vegetables, but you are also definitely getting a lot more!
Great video and I believe you absolutely nailed it. I’ve been taking AG1 for 2 years now and I can definitely understand when you say you’re not sure exactly what it does but you “think” you feel better. A few things I absolutely noticed were nails definitely strengthened and skin improved. My nails were always cracking even though I keep them short and I wear gloves as much as possible while working( I’m a man for clarity here). Also I felt significantly less bloated and it regulated my movements. I can’t say that I notice any significant difference in recovery or performance in hard workouts or exercise before taking AG1 and since starting and continuing taking it for 2 years. I have replaced all other vitamins other than still taking a vitamin d3/k2 combo. I still take other supplements like protein and a few others to keep lean muscle mass as I age( I’m 45). I spent upwards of $60 on vitamin packs and what not before for years, so the price isn’t an issue for me. I look at it as $3/day and whether it’s a placebo effect or not isn’t really concerning to me. I plan to continue taking it. I’ve looked into and tried others like AG1 and have found that those others don’t do or have something AG1 in some way or another. Whether it’s not continuing to try to improve the product, not actually listing and breaking down the amount of and ingredients in the superfood complexes and other complexes, AG1 does all of this. Plus the customer service is top notch. You may not get a response same day but you definitely will the following day, and they have never once left me disappointed or feeling ignored or that they don’t care. If anyone reads this though and has alternatives they believe I should try, please let me know. Have fun everyone.
My dad has had a lot of debilitating health issues for the past 10 years or so. I bought him AG-1 months ago after seeing HUNDREDS of reviews from different content creators (all sponsored 🤦♀️😂)... He truly feels so much better since taking it. He even says there's days where he feels better than he did 10+ years ago before his health complications started. Suggestion for anyone that can't handle the taste/texture.. He hated it. I bought empty vegan capsules & encapsulated it. It works exactly the same, for him anyway. No more bad taste/texture. ☺️
Great suggestion. My concern is the sweetness most products add like stevia. Stevia hurts my stomach. Apparently I’m allergic to it and it’s in everything “natural”.
Wouldn't you have to take quite a few capsules to equal one scoop? I don't like the taste either but I consider it like medicine.. I don't have to like the taste to be able to swallow it.
Great video! Appreciate your honesty. You're always going to pay more when someone does something for you. Like preparing the foods, like AG1, that we need. I really like it & I'm saving $ on the supplements I used to take. I don't smoke or drink anymore, so I'm saving $! I do have more energy and focus. ❤
Thanks for sharing your experience and honestly, I just started using it. I'm 70 years old and have taken an assorted handful of vitamins for YEARS! In addition, already spending a sh!t ton of money on good quality supplements (that are suggested by my Holistic doc.) So for me, subscribing at $79. per month is a "deal". I am hoping to alleviate trying to remember taking the handful of supplements and improve my energy level.
I’m with you, I’m 63 and to feel better is worth every penny and I’m on a budget, this stuff works I can feel it and now my husband wants on board so a few less rounds of golf, picnics instead of fancy restaurants etc. it’s worth it imo
100% agree. I'm 62. I have a bunion that flairs up, joint and muscle pain. I add 1 teaspoon of tumeric powder for inflammation and beet powder for increased blood flow. My bunion and joints feel so, so much better. I feel like I stepped out of a fog. I went without it for a few days on a recent trip. Never again! I'm a believer!!
Wife and I have been taking it daily for going on 5 months. We love it and it has lived up to the hype. Will say that dr. Huberman has been a great guide to additional things to enhance life. From behavior to supplements to just the science of maximizing the human experience.
I have been taking for over a year…sometimes just 3 to 4 days a week to save a little money, but I prefer almost daily. I absolutely notice a difference. I had some severe gut issues and my energy levels were very low among a few other things that I was experiencing for the first time in my life. After taking AG1 for 2 or 3 months the 😊gut issues were gone. My energy was also starting to improve. I did feel better overall and I had tried all kinds of things before that will no to only slight improvements, so I don’t believe it could be in my head. I’m an artist, money is tight, but my health is priority. I also started taking it in the morning and could fast. I tend to wake up starving, so this was new for me too and the effects of fasting may have helped as well. I used to take a lot more supplements, but I currently only take ag, fish oil and lactoferrin (a fairly new addition that I also found a noticeable shift in my energy and health, I am often anemic) I have felt far better in the last 3 months than I have in the last 3 years. So I will continue with at unless something changes. 💚 thank you for the honest review!
Just don't drink the Athletic Greens flavor-aide and apple sauce. I knew a guy named Jones who tried it. Haven't heard from him since. I think he was a pastor or something.
Did you have gut issues like constant bubbling ,gurgling, almost like minnie volcanoes going off releasing some gull and acid. I'm really struggling with it bad . It's hard to explain my gut issues. Really would like to know. I have the low energy too
Great honest review! I appreciate the No -sponsored honest thoughts! I’ve taken a super food grass type drink before too. I’m not sold on the results yet. AG1 is expensive!
I’ve been taking AG1 for probably 3 weeks now and there is definitely an energy boost for me after taking it each morning. One thing I noticed is that I don’t need a coffee first thing in the morning with breakfast as the craving just went away which was good. Overall I am feeling better, plus knowing that I have my vitamins etc covered each day. It is expensive but I figured my health is worth it, and will try for at least 3 months and decide if I continue from there. I’m one of the few it seems that actually like the taste and the texture of the drink and definitely look forward to it each morning. I never forget to take it, as I would with other supplements.
I have also found my coffee cravings gone since I started taking it. I usually had a big coffee in the morning, but AG1 seems to have replaced it and I think it actually gives me more energy than the coffee did.
Ha ha... my daughter got me a bag of this for xmas. Day 4, no complaints, but did get a case of the runs on first use a few hours later....kinda sorta expected that, all greeny looking water, lol. Then, I have 2 or 3 coffees with 10g collagen, lol coffee is my only bad addiction and not giving it up. Not sure if this is worth the HUGE monthly expense.
@@BloozguyI'm raising my cafetiere to you! I don't want to try AG-1 if there's a risk it will remove my desire for coffee 🤗 Coffee WITH collagen? Perhaps I'll give that a go?
@@irenemax3574 Ha ha. Never fear. Your caffeine desires are safe..collagen coffees are the bomb! But I drink mine black, and use plain collagen from Organika....it's quite the morning boost indeed ☕
Love, love AG1! I feel so much better. Bonus, my skin glows! I add 1 teaspoonful of each, tumeric and organic beet powder. It helps with inflammation and clarity. Lately, I've been adding to a blender with some blueberries, a handful of fresh greens, flaxseed and chia and 1/2 banana. Amazing! Expensive, yes. But totally worth it! I just reduce the amount a tad to make it stretch some. That's why I add the fresh greens and fruit. I also take the D3 and K2 drops that camewith it. I can feel a difference if I forget a day.
I have been using this for 7 months now and will continue using this. The main reason is the unintended consequence of a problem I’ve had that’s seems to have resolved. I have suffered from esophageal strictures for about ten years, I began to notice less and less frequent issues eating and have been problem free for six months. I also was diagnosed with hypothyroidism 7 years ago. I haven’t been the best with medication compliance and expected my lab work to be bad, well I was within normal limits and I feel good. Crazy stuff.
Mix it will Orange Juice, let it hydrate for 5 to 10 minutes . it's much better. 6 months of usage. I'm 65 yrs old and need to improve my gut health. It did what I expected. You are correct is does cost is high. I would think that $40. per month would be better. My resting heart rate is 58. Before it was 75.
Great video and I appreciate the unbiased, non sponsored review. I've been considering taking AG1so your video has helped. I don't think the price is too high considering I am spending a lot more on very expensive vitamins and supplements that are already in the greens. I'm gonna give it a go so thanks again.
Good vid! I did AG for 6 months. I opted to switch to Strong Greens and Strong Reds from BPN. It saved some money, tastes better and honestly… from a gut health standpoint, I feel better than I did with AG. Give ‘em a shot. Maybe a comparison vid of the two after some time with the BPN powders? 🤷🏻♂️
I have ordered 2 packs of AG1 after seeing this video and did some research, they are reviewed and are ranked on the top by many top journalists. Bare Performance Nutrients unfortunately aren't anywhere. Many people also does not review that.
@@awesomebrotherhood7698 BPN is pretty well-known in the industry. 90 seconds or less of searching will show BPN strong greens and reds, along with their other supplements. Not only that, but Nick Bare, the CEO of BPN, uses these supplements himself for marathons, ultra marathons, Ironmans, and his own weightlifting goals. No need to put down other supplements, especially if you haven’t tried it. Try each out and use what works best for you.
I’ve been doing AG1 for the past year and the only thing I had against it at first was the taste. But after a few months I noticed the taste went from “meh” and tasting like old bubblegum, to now I crave it. I really think this has to do with gut health. I take probiotics before I go to bed and have for years but I noticed the difference since I added AG. I’m big on the gut/emotion connection and I feel it supports practicing emotional intelligence. I drink it upon waking up and today I can’t see not drinking it. Just my experience, but AG is worth every penny to me.
If you were to buy active non dairy probiotics and all this stuff on its own it would be the same if not more. I tried Smashin’ Greens first and it taste absolutely horrible. AG-1 tasted great from the jump to me. It tastes like bubblegum! I felt great immediately so i must have been nutrient deficient. I’m very very happy with AG-1 it seems to be exactly what they promised me. 33 year old just started becoming active again
I have been using AG1 for a few months and enjoy the benefits I get. The most important affect for me was all day energy. I start work at 6am and no longer have any issue getting through the day and ready to do something after work which wasn't so before I started taking it. Could get the same affect from something cheaper but I also have grown fond of the flavor and the morning ritual of taking it so I'll continue till I learn something that gives me other options.
@@visceraeyes525 I’m going to start taking AG1 and see if it truly gives me sustained energy throughout the day. I’m very in tune with my body and know if something will noticeably give me benefits or not. I have taken products in the past claimed by most reviewers to give you “energy” where ultimately it was complete BS. If it does what it claims I’ll be the first to admit it.
@@visceraeyes525if it’s truly a placebo, how do you explain the thousands of testimonies from patients of doctors who have seen significant increases in gut health and other positive effects
Did absolutely nothing for me. But I don't believe everything a influencer is getting paid to advise me and I noticed most of the ingredients are pretty underdosed.
I’m a couple months in , fixed my stomach issues in the morning . Don’t wake up all crampy , also fixed my skin stopped breaking out. I’d say I notice a difference
Thanks for the review, I appreciate you sharing your experience with this type of supplement product. And yes I agree, the experience will vary depending on each individual's life style and fitness habits. However, the information you provided was very useful! 😀
Fascinating! I’m on week 3 of AG1 and I this morning I noticed my resting heart rate has also gone down, but I didn’t know why. (And I’m not training like I had been in the past). Also, my digestion is uh, more efficient.
Thank you for the honesty. You were very informative and unbiased. I'm going to give it a try for 2 months as well and journal how I feel. I want to do AG1 with a little caffiene in it to replace my morning coffee.
@Landen Emch going great. I do it every morning with a little nucaffiene (some liquid caffeine I picked up on Amazon) and I dropped my coffee completely. I feel much better in the mornings but it didn’t really kick in for me until week 2.
I have been taking AG1 for about a month and adding a scoop of Collagen, blue berries, black berries and raspberries and I love it. Feels like rocket fuel.
@@ChaseTheSummit honest reviews normally cause some division 😅 Your opinion is just your opinion at the end of the day and I personally found it very helpful 👍
I sub'd to AG1's double order so I get two months supply for $149 and I reduced my frequency to every 2 months. With tax and shipping it's $80 a month.
@@FrakBeats after you create your account you can change the frequency to 60 days or skip an order. You might have to place the first order then go back in and adjust your delivery options afterwards.
Haha I haven’t ordered it yet, but this was the first thing my frugal ass thought of. Just wasn’t sure if it was allowed to “pause” or change shipping frequency, so thanks for clarifying that I can. I believe you get 2 shaker bottles this way as well. Idk why anyone who intends on taking AG for a long period of time wouldnt just do this to save a little money
It's pretty nice with coconut water, I've been taking it for 6months and I travel a lot with it, allowed me to take almost no supplements with me and I have serious health conditions and it helps with inflammation, digestive health, immune system and cravings.
@@tcmazz I have MS, I’m disabled partially blind with, muscles spasm, cramps, neurological pain and inflammation and serious nerve damage… It helps to keep inflammation down, I do take magnesium ginger and tumeric and I do switch my green/red powders and my vegetables but I really like this one on the go… I train/swim and move around a lot summer time and it keeps my skin, digestion and hair healthy too …
thank you for the honest review. its given me food for though, its a product that does interest me but am on a limited budget. I might try one of the alternatives if they are even 80% as good as AG1
I was so tickled when you said it felt like you were unboxing an Mac Book Pro. I'm on day 2 of AG1. Your first tasting experience was different from mine LOL. I liked the taste on day one. Great video upload. Much Joy. To your Health and Wellness🙂
I’ve been using it for about a week now and I have to say I’m enjoying it a lot so far. It tastes pretty great especially with a splash of hemp or oat milk! Plus I’m a server and when I’m not working I’m kinda just laying around and before AG1 I’d wake up around 4/5 am and fall asleep by 9pm at the latest but since starting AG1 I’ve been finding myself waking up at 4/5 naturally and ready and after work I still have energy to go shopping or out with my partner and I’ve been falling asleep around 11/12 as of late and feeling more energized than I have in a while. I can’t attest to the genuine health affects yet but it definitely helps your energy and motivation through the day!
Are you still taking it and if so, how is it going? I am also a server, I wake up at 7am and work 9am-5pm. Like you (before you started AG1) after work, I find myself just lying around. Like I seriously can’t wait to get home from work, shower, and get off my feet. I NEVER want to do anything or go anywhere after work. I used to have the best memory but I notice now my memory has gotten terrible, which as you know, is not good for a server lol. I used to be able to take orders without writing them down, but I wouldn’t dare risk doing that now. Even if it’s just 2 beverage orders, I’ll write it down. Was wondering if you’re still taking it and if it’s having the same effect as when you made this comment. Also, has it done anything for your skin?
Very helpful to have your opinions about the taste, as that'd probably be one of my main concerns too, even though I'd also probably manage to drink it...just makes it easier to consider purchasing something (especially something that isn't particularly cheap) when you know it's likely to be pleasant or at least drinkable. With other ‘grassy’ & green powders, I find adding some pure apple juice makes them taste pretty nice.
I hated the taste at first, but push through for a few weeks and then you’ll actually crave it. I wake up and look forward to it. I remember thinking Joe Rogan was crazy since he said it tasted sweet, but it does taste sweet to me now .
I mix mine with orange juice and coconut water to do kind of an adrenal cocktail with it and then put a little vanilla collagen powder in it and it masks the taste and texture really well.
I have been using it for weeks. The biggest improvement is my depression. Some days I miss work because it, and I haven’t missed a day since I have taken it.
@@thisaccounthasbeensuspended I’ll start by saying I think it works well and it tastes good. Reading the pamphlet it comes with, it shows they’re in a continuous improvement model, and this iteration is number 52, so be cautious of the really old reviews because that iteration may not have tasted as good. A company that’s in ongoing improvement of their product is using the premium you pay for it to make sure their product is solid with good R&D. I’ve been taking it for two weeks and quit taking my multivitamin since AG1 technically has most of the same vitamins, if not more. I primarily like it because it doesn’t make me feel weird or give tummy troubles, and I definitely have had a life of stomach issues. This sits really well with me and I don’t think about it after consuming it. No weird aftertaste, and I don’t burp anything up. In two more weeks, I’ll provide more updates. What happened with me when I ordered the 30-day pouch is I wasn’t getting it when expected (I paid the lowest for shipping) and on day four, their automated system sent me an email acknowledging it was taking a long time and offered me a free five pack for my next order. Then it took longer, so I simply opened their chat on their site and said “my package still hasn’t arrived, it looks like it’s sitting at my local shipping facility.” They replied with “it looks like it got lost, let me refund your shipping.” But they didn’t stop there; they then sent me a screenshot of them sending me an overnight pouch and a free 5 pack. When I received it, they sent me a 30-day pouch and 2 5 packs. Still didn’t stop there….they then found the original order and shipped it. So I got a 30-day plus another 30-day, plus two 5 packs, and I have a voucher for another free 5 pack on my next order. I didn’t ask for all that; they decided right off the bat that’s what they wanted to do. So they have excellent customer service.
Great video. Not being a critic, just adding my endorsement to yours. You said, “it’s expensive for what you get.” It is expensive, I agree, but in the case of AG1, we get what we pay for. Buying the equivalent supplementation in pill or liquid form, in my experience, would cost much more per month. Plus, AG1 is so much easier to dose than a handful of horse size tablets and capsules would be each day. I started feeling the difference in just about a week and look forward to taking it as part of my morning routine. Thanks again for your video.
just going through the BPN website, it has everything AG1 has, but each is its own order. with AG1 you get everything. an important point to consider: often we dont know what we lack in our diets. since this covers all bases i feel AG1 is better choice.
So I’ve been taking it for a month. I’m a 42 male who works outdoors in a physical job. I’ve noticed, no more energy, but I’m not as tired at the end of the day. I’ve also noticed I sweat A LOT more. Definitely thinking clearer and as a person with depression, it hasn’t hit nearly as hard as usual. I’ll keep going for now.
BPN Greens is not a fair comparison to AG1. To get a similar level of nutrients as AG1 you would need to have the full BPN suite of health products including the multivitamin and probably BPN Reds as well. AG1 is like all those BPN products combined which comes out to about $110 a month vs $90 for AG1. I have used both and compared them in depth. I have been on the AG1 for about a month and so far loving it. Feeling good and would recommend. BPN is also good but you can't compare the price of just BPN Greens as a direct competitor by itself to AG1
Ha ha! I loved the last 1min, and it made me chuckle. Thank you for reviewing, I have been researching the product, and I was about to buy it, but you make a good point - there are other products in the market which can deliver the same results. I have recently got into the habit of going through the ingredients list. It has become evident that many products make bold claims, but when you check the list of ingredients and %, you can quickly know whether you are paying for their marketing costs or actual product. :)
If you compare it to the two or three vitamin supplements you can replace it’s not that bad at all. Plus if you don’t eat a ton of veggies like myself it’s well with it!
Thanks for making this video CtS :) I think the healthier you eat/live and how fit you are, will have a big influence on, how much AG1 (or any other similar product) - do for your body :) You being much above average, didn't get a huge difference, witch actually makes sense I.M.O. :) I think I´m gonna try 1 month, since I never really got back in shape after the C....nineteen shutdown of the Gyms ect, plus I´m 57y old, so I´ll probably benefit a lot more :D So thanks again, even though you couldn't make a definite conclusion 👍
💯 the main concern I have about these powders, and I’ve tried three different ones for more than a few years is that they all have “natural flavors“ listed in their ingredients list. This is an unregulated term and can mean anything and most of the time it is not good.
If you swirl/shake the ag1 each time before you take a swallow it will keep it from settling at the bottom. Aside from that I pretty much agree with this assessment. It took a while to get use to the taste, but it's not so bad now. THAT SAID, it is too expensive to be full of vitamins and vegetables.
I’m about a month into AG1 and pretty much agree with everything you said. Thanks for confirming my…suspicions? I think the key to any good placebo is the intention behind it. This one makes me feel like I’m doing something good - whether I can prove the outcome or not 😅
Thanks for the review! I also tried AG1 and the strong reds/greens from BPN. I liked the taste of reds and greens together better than AG1. Biggest thing I noticed with BPN supps was gut related benefits. Would love to get your perspective on it as well. Love the content!
Thanks for the review! I just ordered AG1 and I'm combing thru reviews to see what I might expect based on real-world use cases such as yours. Thanks also for the honesty and not doing a sponsored video. I've heard the taste is rough but I'm also one of those who actually enjoys wheatgrass shots so yeah, I'm weird. The cost is ridiculious though... (gotta pay for all their marketing somehow) I currently spend a little less than this per month on the handful (literally a hand full) of pills and capsules I take for vitamins and supplements in the mornings. I already have to take a fair amount in the way of Rx stuff every day so the fewer pills I have to swallow the better. I'll give this stuff a go but I might just line it up against a comparable, but cheaper option for a head-to-head. The only reason I am willing to give AG1 a shot is the 60 money-back guarantee. That *should give me enough time to try it out and maybe try out a competitor before committing. Of course, an objective review is really hard because we all have different chemistry and you did say you weren't getting your blood run at the lab (nor should you have for a 10 min YT review). This really comes down to a try & see for each person. If the user can tolerate the taste & the cost, plus they see/feel a benefit then it might be worth it to them. Totally case-by-case. Thanks agains for the review!
@ so far so good. I do feel better and I notice some difference on the days I don't use it. Certainly not a miracle substance, but it has helped my overall health as one might expect from a multivitamin/multi-mineral & probiotic supplement. I just wish it wasn't so damn expensive... (It helps just enough now to justify its cost, but that's not to say I wouldn't trim it from the budget if/when they increase the price)
@@ChaseTheSummitI’m wondering if you are still using AG-1 . Probably the main reason I’m interested is at the age of 72 I take a variety of supplements including a green protein powder that together adds up much more than AG 1 per month. So in the interest of saving money I’m considering it . I realize this video is a couple years old but it’s hard to find a review of it that is unsponsored and has actually used the product. Thanks !
@@TheHuester44 I’m still using it and still paying for it out of my own pocket but my opinion on it hasn’t changed. It’s hard to say if it’s benefiting me or not but I like the habit and it “feels” healthy!
Great review, so basically what I got from it is that AG1 is good if you have the money for it but it’s not worth breaking the bank for because the results aren’t crystal clear, as a broke 20 year old in school it wouldn’t be the best choice for me to invest in
I'm with you, I do feel like my energy is a bit better, but I feel like I'm taking it because now I like the taste and it's become a habit. Thanks so much for this review, I found it really helpful. I've watched a few reviews recently on whether greens are effective or not, and it was really nice just to have someone explain their experience after using it for 2 months without going into all of the nitty-gritty or trying to get me to sign up for their fitness plan :)
I just got AG1 today and I really like the flavor of it, but then again I drink Matcha Green Tea cold and that can be grassy tasting. The Vitamin D dropper they included with my order is a year's supply. AG1 it way less gritty than Amazing Grass, that I tried for a few months. But yeah, it's expensive and you have to wait at least 30 minutes before drinking anything with caffeine in it.
Would definitely be interested in another video if you continue to take it. I've been talking it for a few days nows in hope it will help my energy levels and mind fog
I appreciate the honesty in the review. Yeah, as you said it is inconclusive, but that’s always the reality with supplements. It’s really hard to quantify gains or benefits outside of subjective comments. But most reviewers would try to attribute definitive results in order to sound better on TH-cam. So I appreciate that you were honest. I’d be curious to hear a similar review of the BPN products and comparing the two. I suspect they are similar quality (meaning they are both good), but the extra cost to AG1 is to pay those huge marketing costs of paying Tim Ferris’s, Joe Rogan and the other massive influencers out there. So BPN might be a better long term solution. But would love to hear your thoughts.
as far as I can see they are quite different in that way AG1 has 75 vitamins and minerals , where BPN you have to buy strong green, strong red and their strong muliti vitamin to maybe get the same. Strong green is like $ 40 only has 6 plant ingredients , and strong red has extracts from 12 fruits. But I'm no expert, will try them out and test for myself.
I've been looking at this AG1 product online for some time now, but however the price is throwing me off so I went to my local Walmart and I purchased something called SMARTER GREENS which ingredients seem similar the difference is they even states on the container that I purchased it's naturally unflavored which is fine. It does have a grassy taste to it but we'll see how it goes and I'll research others and go from there it was $20 for this container I purchased
I love this stuff. Taste was the exact same to me. I think my body likes it which in turn made me adapt to the taste and enjoy it now. It also keeps the 💩 on the reg ,and like you said less bloated. I have used BPN and it wasn’t the same. Not sure why. Maybe placebo
@chasethesummit a couple of things to consider in regards to your analysis. Supplement/ nutrient quality. There may be less expensive greens and supplement out there but what is the quality of those ingredients and also you mentioned the high cost per month but if someone invest in high quality supplements you could spend around $39-$80 dollars on just one clean supplement. Taking that into consideration with the amount of nutrients in a product it can compensate for the cost on a monthly basis. Ty for your review.
I’ve been using AG1 for a few years and was also initially hung up on the price. I would highly recommend AG1. I think it’s important to clarify that AG1 does not compare to other greens out there and comparing to BPN strong greens is not a good comp. A quick comparison of the Supplement Facts makes that pretty clear. (Also a huge BPN fan if that matters) AG1 replaces a greens, multi vitamin and probiotic. If you go with a high end product for all 3 of those, you get to the price of AG1 pretty quickly.
I was thinking I’d look for something less expensive but as you say I haven’t found another product that comes even close to the amount of vitamins or nutrition products that AG1 has
I appreciate the tone and content of this video. You don't have bloodwork analysis to be conclusive about how AG1 performed for you and to conclude with, "no conclusive opinion" is fair. At the same time you tried it and so your experience so far is valid.
I started using AG1 in January and have been doing well on it ever since. One thing that I can attribute to it for sure is skin health. I had fingers that were always dry, cracked, and often bled. Nothing has ever worked at clearing that up, but after a month or so of AG1, that is gone. That could just be the Biotin, but at this point, I'm not interested in rocking the boat! Got my fingers back!! I am a runner and a cyclist. My overall fitness has not improved while on AG1, although I did run 2 half marathons this year, something I haven't done in over 2 years.
@@ChaseTheSummit There is supplements like this in australia that have the same ingredients and cost about $40 AUD . Think this is just overhyped to be honest.
Great vid! I personally only take it 3-4 times a week just to save a bit of money. It’s definitely worth it for me and have noticed a big difference when I’m on it and off it for a long period.
Great post. Your usual objective, down to Earth perspective applied to a supplement is excellent. You’re gonna have to do more of these now you realise?
I'm a 55 year old man, who's been engaged in high level sports and training since the age of 5 (Boxing, Judo, Bodybuilding, Powerlifting, Dragonboat racing) all at competitive levels, as a consequence my body has multiple injuries and aches. Over the years I have tried most supplements to ensure a contiuned healthy nutrient intake, to give my body the ingredients to repair and keep healthy. I have looked at AG1, but see very little difference from the Udo's Choice Beyond Greens, combine with the Udo's oil, that I've been using for 20+ years. These products have been around for years and one of the very first to hit the market, but don't have all the marketing hype and endorsement behind them. I'm not saying that AG1 is not beneficial, however there are cheaper and better established alternatives. As with anything of this nature, you have to do your own research to find what does and doesn't work for you. Peace, Strength and Happiness to you all and may you all continue to find your BLISS🙏💪❤
I like your honest review. I think the ingredients listed can be found in foods and for way less of the asking price. But if it works for you then that's all that counts.
Absolutely. I think the idea here is that they're taking the guess work out of diet/nutrition and just making it a one-stop solution for those that don't want to learn.
I've tried it for nearly a month now, and I can't say I'm impressed by anything. I don't mind the taste, but as you've said, I don't see anything that couldn't be attributed to placebo. And for nearly $100.00/mth, there would have to be for me to keep using it. I'll stick to my V8 Healthy Greens and save a bunch of money.
Ahah I loved your review and honestly I would have had the same conclusion. Been taking it for about 2 months as well and the taste definitely grew on me, I wouldn’t imagine a day without it now. I’m a big believer in supplementation and I use to take the Dr. Rhonda Patrick’s list of supplements every morning but it’s like 10 pills to swallow and I felt like a sick person needing its medication. Now I feel almost the same effects but with a subjectively healthier routine. Price wise, I don’t think it’s more expensive that taking all that stuff separately (especially all the “nootropics”). Also, I’m not a doctor but I wouldn’t recommend taking cheap supplements as it’s most probably made from less qualitative/bio available stuff and can even contain harmful substances (pesticides, heavy metals,…).
Thanks for sharing! This stuff is so hard to quantify the effects of since you can't really A/B test the same exact day, diet, etc... For me though, I do feel SOMETHING I just don't know if it's AG1 or my lifestyle improvements. Like I said though, I like the taste and it seems like a healthy habit so I'll probably keep using it!
Sounds sketch to me. I've never tried it but you can use my coupon code to buy and join my exclusive team of AG1 distributors to be part of the fastest growing multi-level marketing team this side of the Mississippi. 😂 I wonder if you cycled on and off of it a few times over a year or two if you could detect a difference. 🤔 Great video. Good to see some non sponsored AG1 reviews. 👏🏻
lol right? Then again I feel like anything in the realm of "daily vitamins" are hard to quantify effectiveness unless you're a scientist. For instance, if you take a daily Vitamin C do you really notice anything? Does it REALLY prevent you from catching a cold? Maybe? Or is it placebo? IDK... I'm just a guy trying not to get my kids germs 🦠
This was very helpful. I listened to this with my wife. We have heard a lot of hype about this stuff. But we've been looking for some independent reviews. And pretty much your analysis is similar to what we are seeing across-the-board. It seems like it doesn't hurt to try it or to use it. However it doesn't seem to provide any additional or incremental benefit either.
I just started taking AG1 and I didn’t care for the taste mixed with water but I’ve started making smoothies with it adding a mix of Apples, Bananas, Berries, Honey, Chia Seeds, ice and water, much better taste as a smoothie. I have found that my body isn’t as gaseous as it was before taking AG1, so the prebiotic and probiotics are working. I’ve also found my overall all energy seems to be good, before taking it I was feeling a bit lethargic.
I think overall a good review. I'm a 70 yr old cyclist / former runner and have been using AG1 for about 8 months, based on my nutritionists advice as a replacement for the supplements I used to take. She pointed out that being a liquid state more nutrients are absorbed more quickly into your system. Additionally as far as cost, if you look at the contents (as you reviewed) there is no need to take most of the supplements I was taking before which pretty much levels out in cost. As to the difference its made? Well like you I don't have definitive proof but interestingly I noticed a drop in my resting heart rate as well (which you mentioned). I think it may have to do that I do feel improved recovery benefits which could also result in a lower resting HR. Now all that said , could it be IF I ate all the nutrient right foods (not that my diet is terrible) would I get the same benefits claimed and experienced?...Ya, quite likely but its much easier to take a scoop of AG1 and call it good.
Thanks Dave, well done. I have gone on, off and on with AG1. When I tried other supplements the nutrient count was much lower, so it seemed like I was getting less for less. I like that AG1 is organic and 3rd party tested, and like you it feels like a good morning ritual. And I have been sick once in a year. But dang the price!
Great review. I'm taking a cheaper one after a lot of research. I can't notice any diff. I've started trying to eat more fruit, and I super notice a diff from that. Also more salads. I'll be doing that after my green powder container is gone.
I'm 10 days into trying Performance Greens from Gnarly Nutrition. Have been trying their nutrition products for running and now the greens. About $42 for a month's supply. So far so good but too early to say how it affects health and performance. Flavor is very good (I got the blueberry açaí flavor)
I just start taking AG1 this week its the first green drink that I don't mind the taste, I have tried many and just could handle the taste. Time will tell if its worth the cost.
From someone who’s tried a lot of different supplements, I can say these powders do help, only if you’re already healthy. If you eat takeout everyday, I don’t know if this will do much.
Hi I am 52 I have Hashimoto thyroid disease plus my adrenal gland is fatigued I started to drink ag1 about 6 months ago within the first week I felt so much better never mind the first month I am doing better than I have been in so long I'm able to do the simplest things that I wasn't able to do before like doing my own laundry it is an amazing product I think everybody should be on it it will make you feel so much better even if you think you eat healthy it will make you feel better it will give you all that you need that you are not getting I love this product
I took ag1 for 7 months. Very expensive but felt better daily. Like you not sure if it was in my head or actually did something for me. I’ve tried other stuff similar to it but not quite the same feeling. Decided to give it another go and see if it truly made a difference. Honestly it can’t hurt but yeah very expensive.
Thanks for your honest review. The benefits of this product need to be tested using placebo controlled double blind studies. The supplement business is rampant with bogus claims so I'm skeptical that AG1 & other products like it are that beneficial if one is eating an otherwise healthy diet (WFPB being the best IMO). Suggested reading is "Whole" by T. Colin Campbell
Definitely not cheap, but like with most things worth a lick of their salt; you really do get what you pay for. When you take into account all the quality ingredients and it being organic the price (although a tough pill to swallow) is justified.
I love AG1, I noticed on day two of taking this, I didn't walk down my stairs sideways as I hold the wall with every step. I can walk up and down my stairs like normal. Every morning, I love to read my Bible and then enjoy my AG1 as I make my coffee. Sometimes I don't even finish my cup of coffee 😊
It does contain green tea extract so will contain caffeine, which you might be feeling as being "energised". I'm a skeptical food scientist, would not buy. Proprietary blends are a red flag in the supplement industry - code for we might be using cheap shit but want you to think it is special.
For sure, there's other ways to get the benefits of this stuff. I think AG1 is an ideal solution for those who don't want to learn about proper macro nutrition and take the guess work out of vitamins and stuff. It's a one stop solution and probably adds something to a daily routine. But, it's hard to say!
Good luck with it all Dianne I hope it all starts going your way 🙂
best wishes :)
Great to hear but out of curiosity how do we know it’s not a placebo affect?
good luck and best wishes!
@@ahmadhusayn539 …because I had to go off of it for several days for another colonoscopy and I needed miralax afterwards. When I restarted AG1 my BMs became regular again. Don’t really care what anyone thinks. My energy level and GI tract are doing well.

Thank you, you saved me a lot of time.
Wow u really measure urself intricately don't u??
@@eatonh A 400mg magnesium suppliment helped improve deep sleep for me .
How can you measure deep sleep?. What i do know is there i don't sleep well at all

how do you measure deep sleep, i think i do not get deep sleep at all not even for a min. i need to measure it.
Thank you
@g2restore963 you can get the same benefits by just eating veggies.
This is just dehydrated veggies. Now u lose quantity while gaining more money
That and there's nothing synthetic whereas there is in AG1
@@tetra3000 what’s synthetic in AG?
And you are getting fiber too!
Don’t they spray fruits and vegetables you get from the grocery stores with chemicals and shit?
Thanks for sharing your experience! I'm in the process of trying BPN's "Strong Greens" which is a similar much less expensive product.

Ur a amazing daughter 👍
I have tried dozens and dozens of greens and this is by far the best tasting… you can mix it with really cold water and in my opinion tastes better 😊
Put it in a smoothy with banana and pineapple or another fruit.

I’ve been doing AG1 for the past year and the only thing I had against it at first was the taste. But after a few months I noticed the taste went from “meh” and tasting like old bubblegum, to now I crave it.

I have been using AG1 for a few months and enjoy the benefits I get. The most important affect for me was all day energy.
Thanks for sharing!
WhT kind of collagen did you

Thanks! I'm glad it was helpful. Some of these comments tend to think otherwise lol.
@@ChaseTheSummit honest reviews normally cause some division 😅 Your opinion is just your opinion at the end of the day and I personally found it very helpful 👍
I sub'd to AG1's double order so I get two months supply for $149 and I reduced my frequency to every 2 months. With tax and shipping it's $80 a month.
they dont even give you the option to reduce to every 2 months tho.. im not seeing that option on checkout at least.
Thanks I'll give it a try , i enjoyed you take on it ,good job ,honesty that's the best way
It's pretty nice with coconut water, I've been taking it for 6months and I travel a lot with it, allowed me to take almost no supplements with me and I have serious health conditions and it helps with inflammation, digestive health, immune system and cravings.
Thanks for sharing!
What serious health conditions did it help with?
@@tcmazz I have MS, I’m disabled partially blind with, muscles spasm, cramps, neurological pain and inflammation and serious nerve damage… It helps to keep inflammation down, I do take magnesium ginger and tumeric and I do switch my green/red powders and my vegetables but I really like this one on the go… I train/swim and move around a lot summer time and it keeps my skin, digestion and hair healthy too …
Thx for a very honest review bro👍🏾
thank you for the honest review.
its given me food for though, its a product that does interest me but am on a limited budget.
This😊
Very helpful to have your opinions about the taste, as that'd probably be one of my main concerns too, even though I'd also probably manage to drink it...just makes it easier to consider purchasing something (especially something that isn't particularly cheap) when you know it's likely to be pleasant or at least drinkable. With other ‘grassy’ & green powders, I find adding some pure apple juice makes them taste pretty nice.
It sometimes tastes nice, the first few gulps are ok. The last drink makes me gag.
If you like pina coladas, try Jocko Greens. Results are great - energy, nail & hair growth, & gut health.
I’m a runner as well, so I just ordered a one-time 30 day supply to test out. I’ll provide an update next month!
how is it going?
@@ishanchegu amen
THAT SAID, it is too expensive to be full of vitamins and vegetables.
add some crushed ice too
I’m about a month into AG1 and pretty much agree with everything you said. Thanks for confirming my…suspicions? I think the key to any good placebo is the intention behind it. This one makes me feel like I’m doing something good - whether I can prove the outcome or not 😅
I didn't hear about AG1 until today. You're the first video I found about it.
Hope it was helpful!
Thanks for the review! I also tried AG1 and the strong reds/greens from BPN. I liked the taste of reds and greens together better than AG1. Biggest thing I noticed with BPN supps was gut related benefits. Would love to get your perspective on it as well. Love the content!
Interesting! I'll have to check it out!
BPN Reds is my favorite “reds” … so far anyway.
Congrats on 100k subscribers man

Drank it for two months. Never got over the dreadful taste. In the two months I didn't notice a change... or anything. Complete waste of money for me.
Should have tried the MASF Greens which have been around and proven.

Thanks for sharing!
@Dave Holdcraft What is your experience now? It's working?
@ so far so good. I do feel better and I notice some difference on the days I don't use it. Certainly not a miracle substance, but it has helped my overall health as one might expect from a multivitamin/multi-mineral & probiotic supplement. I just wish it wasn't so damn expensive...
(It helps just enough now to justify its cost, but that's not to say I wouldn't trim it from the budget if/when they increase the price)
Just to let you know that I found this video super helpful!!!! Thank you so much for sharing your experience. Can’t wait for the next video 😊
Thank you! 🙏
Super healthy people who eat lots of organic food and eat as healthy as they can , probably will not see a big change in their energy/health.
I'll see what I can do!
I'm going to give BPN a shot next. Stay tuned!
as far as I can see they are quite different in that way AG1 has 75 vitamins and minerals , where BPN you have to buy strong green, strong red and their strong muliti vitamin to maybe get the same.
I'll have to try BPN's version. I like Athletic Greens but I honestly couldn't tell you why lol. It's not a dramatic change but it "feels" healthy?
(Also a huge BPN fan if that matters)
AG1 replaces a greens, multi vitamin and probiotic. If you go with a high end product for all 3 of those, you get to the price of AG1 pretty quickly.
Vibrant health is 3rd party tested and much cheaper
What's the exact name?
I was thinking I’d look for something less expensive but as you say I haven’t found another product that comes even close to the amount of vitamins or nutrition products that AG1 has
You did a gerat job of eplaining what it is, how it affected you, etc. Thank you so much!
thanks for the honest review. would love to try AG1, but it is too expensive. so far, I've been using super greens from OTE and I love it. Take care.
How was it thinking about super
Oh interesting! I haven't really noticed anything in terms of skin health but that's a nice perk!
Yes same here, a few family members mentioned my skin and health vibrance, which my family does not compliment very easily....

Thanks for the review...I actually liked the taste the first time I tried it.
Great review. I just purchased this for my wife and I. Cant wait to start it
Share your thoughts once you try it!
Awesome. You do such a good job handling the subjective nature of it all and factors therein. Super interesting!
Good review. So in shape people who already have a clean diet… I think I got the answer I was looking for 😄🤙 thank you
Sounds sketch to me.

I'm glad you found this helpful!
Skip to 8:30 for the info your looking for folks.

Seems like a great product, but hard to justify the cost... Great review!
Certainly not cheap!
Definitely not cheap, but like with most things worth a lick of their salt; you really do get what you pay for. When you take into account all the quality ingredients and it being organic the price (although a tough pill to swallow) is justified.
About $23 a week, or just over $3 per day.
Exactly!👏 Eat real food people! 😉😁
For sure, there's other ways to get the benefits of this stuff. I think AG1 is an ideal solution for those who don't want to learn about proper macro nutrition and take the guess work out of vitamins and stuff. It's a one stop solution and probably adds something to a daily routine. But, it's hard to say!
