My whirlpool dishwasher has not been working properly close to about a month now. I live in an apartment and I’m not super sure maintenance here knows what they’re doing at this point. I’ve tried everything to getting them to increase the temperature on our water heater, keeping the dish soap dispenser open and adding liquid detergent, throwing a pod at the bottom. It’s just not cleaning my dishes at all. It’s hot but none of then come clean, especially the top rack.
How do you find out if there's enough water? What water level should I expect to find inside the machine when it's running? If the spray is not forceful enough, what part is responsible? I cleaned my dishwasher with a product for cleaning and now it has a loud noise. A pump is failing?
What is the model number of your dishwasher? When is it making the noise? Have you checked to see if there anything may have gotten caught in there? Is the machine draining the water like it should? Have you had any error codes come up on the display?
I'm still watching this , but wonder why my maytag dishwasher makes the water sound inside but doesn't seem to have the pressure it should. When I first bought it, I thought the water was gonna come blasting out the side. There was so much pressure inside now Not so much. Dang it, watched the rest of the video and it sounds like it's my circulation pump which makes perfect sense but I don't know if i'm strong enough to handle the news sniff sniff. 😁
@appliancepartspros You're about the only one that's ever answered my dishwasher dilemmas. 😁 Mine's a maytag and it has the round Frisbee size disk in the bottom and underneath there's just a big motor, that's it. What part is the pump?
The circulation pump for your appliance is 99002482. Unfortunately, that part is no longer manufactured so we are unable to order it. But you can take that part number and check around to see if you can locate it in stock somewhere.
I have a whirlpool dishwasher that doesn't send the correct voltage (110-120v) to the harness going to the circulation pump during a wash. Anyone have this issue?
@appliancepartspros WDT730PAHZ0 Dishwasher runs through all cycles and everything works, except the wash from the circ pump My initial thought was the common circ pump, but when I tested the harness with pump disconnected during a wash portion of the cycle, there was not 110-120v at the harness. I haven't checked the board yet because I spent too much time with the pump, but I will be returning this week.

You could check the pump and the spray arms for any clogs that could cause that issue.

@appliancepartspros MDB7100AWW. I saw a motor assembly for sale on ebay that looked like mine but the part number didn't match.

Have you tried to put your dishwasher into a diagnostics cycle to see if that would pull up any error codes?
Do all new dishwashers have the ability to put on a diagnostic cycle?
APP is the 💣
Without watching the brand I can say without making a mistake it's an Frigidaire dishwasher in the video
Yup😅 it's almost exactly mine and why I came to find a video on how to fix it
No. Nothing like my Frigidaire
Ok so what are the other reasons.
What is your model number? What is going on with the dishwasher?
That filter looks like a Bosch.
Money is coming in it tore up within 3 months of me buying it!
My water isn't spraying. Looks like a new part is needed by the looks of your video 🤔😖
