yeah there comes a time in every mans left. hey check out my welder video, i used the little 120v welder to put the rods in because it uses such small power/heat.
This is a known factory defect. There are kits with thicker gauge steel to replace the thin factory ones. No welding required 🙂
I just ordered one. They won't warranty me lol. Doing an updated video today
