Really great vid with lots of nice recommendations I might be putting to my 1-day Izu itinerary. I also appreciate your well-thought setup with the dimmed light and consistent colours.
Excellent video! I stumbled across this while planning a 3-day trip to Kawazu this November! Hoping that time of year will mean less tourists, and I love that your video mentioned some amazing places I hadn't heard from any other videos!
Someone needs to contact Izu government about the Odoriko hiking trail famous for Kawabata Yasunari novel Izu Dancer. We hiked it yesterday and it was filthy dirty with rubbish, large areas looked like rubbish dumping grounds and the track and river has so many bottles, cans and debris everywhere it is disgraceful. Looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in over 10 years judging by the age of some of the products. We flew from Australia especially to walk it, so sad😢especially as lots of wasabi is grown in the river there. The few km before the waterfalls is like a waste disposal area for cars and unwanted items. Who the hell is in charge here?
Wow, what an excellent video! Thank you so much for your hard work on this one-- I'm at the very beginning of researching this area and trying to figure out where to base ourselves for a long weekend from Tokyo city so this was extremely helpful. Thank you so much.
Love this video! Very useful and enjoyable. I would like to learn more about the prefectures ... like, what maybe 1 video per prefecture, describing what they are known for, a few top spots to visit, access (train, bus, car, etc.), and maybe even the accents used. (Some areas have very strong accents, which makes it more difficult for learners of Japanese, but it's also kind of fun to learn some of the local slang. :-)
I really like your video. But only one thing on this video that I don’t agree which is feeding the monkey, they are wild and as the area is still a lot of nature that’s what they can find their food, we don’t need to feed them and change the wild’s behavior, it will cost damage in the future.
There’s a drone map app that shows you where you can fly drones in Japan! Also if there are signs that say no drones then you’re not allowed to fly even if the map app shows that the area’s clear!
Finally! Someone who knows how to make a travel video. Thank you👍👏👏

Thanks for the feedback!! We’ve actually been thinking about something like this in the future!
Is Izu a good place to visit during winter? Most of the locations are great but I'm wondering are they visitable during winter?
It’s not hugely famous for it but there are lots of great onsens so I’m sure it’s a great winter spot!
Can you recommend some places to stay for solo travelers?
How can I find out abt the tides for the land bridge? :) it looks so interesting
