What is ASMR?
In my subjective view, ASMR is 2 things: a sensation and a medium (like music for example).
The sensation itself (ASMR) stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and is the current (non-scientific) name given to the feeling characterized as a pleasurable tingling sensation felt in the head, scalp, back and other regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering and personal attention.
ASMR videos, the medium, are not only meant to help induce the sensation or "tingles", but also help provide a relaxing, calming and soothing experience for the viewer while helping to relieve their anxiety, stress, headaches, insomnia, to help those suffering with PTSD or depression, to serve as a study aid and much more. It is quite therapeutic, for both the creator and recipient, not much different than the mediums of music and painting.
Many people who do not experience ASMR still enjoy the videos for their calming and sleepy affect.

I love Rift's voice range. I always forget that it's him behind these masks. The voices don't sound all that complicated, but he keeps them up flawlessly for hours. Impressively convincing. Good job, Rift.

Honestly, some voices are easier done whispering but this German hisp kind of voice that is already a bit raspy it sounds does seem like it could dry out the back of your throat if your not hydrated properly.

It went like this:
I was watching tv in the living room and I heard something get smashed In my room. So I ran there and my window was broken and Corvus was climbing in from the outside.
Then I woke up and looked at my window because I was very tired and was confused if it was a dream or not. You know when that happens?

Have you watched goodnight moon ? It's not the same of course but she also creates a specific mood for her videos and she's really good at roleplays. Some of them even contain some sort of lore.
I watch a whole bunch of asmrtists, but Corvus (although I’ll watch all the Uncle E uploads) is the only one that can make me relax so hard my back actually hurts. As odd as that sounds. My back isn’t meant to be able to relax basically, but Corvus can do it.
Edit for clarity: Disabled with various health issues, some of which are long-standing neck trauma, nerve damage in the base of my spine, and general spinal pain and inflammation. The only other times my spine “relaxes” are on an MRI bed with support framing to force everything into position, or on an inverted spinal board. Corvus does the almost-impossible lmfao.

I noticed something at 20:42 and again at 20:51. It's no big deal as I still achieved my tingles, but it broke my immersion a little. You should have done the German three where they use their pointer finger, middle finger and their thumb to convey the number three.
