At the very edge, you can cover the gap of light on the tint with a simple black pinstriping kit. I've even fixed rear truck window, bad tint job with electrical tape.
Good video. I also picked up a cap for my short bed 2020 F150 for $100. Front and back window busted out dealer wanted to much for glass so I was going to put plexiglass when I got the idea to look for another cap, same manufacturer but older model and didn't care about fit or which truck it was for. Turns out they used a lot of the same glass so I picked up another cap that didn't fit for $150 but the glass worked so just swapped it into my frame. Have to paint it and change out the lock and repair a small piece of fiberglass on the corner. Should Have about $350 in it and still can sell the old cap for $50/$75. So the $100 cap was a good deal for me also
You could've bought one used without busted out windows and with proper latches for $500-$800 and saved yourself hundreds of dollars in time, money, and ghetto window repairs.
You may be right. I haven't seen any that cheap, but I'm sure they are out there. I really wanted to learn the fiberglass process and practice painting. As I said in the video, for many this is not a logical route. For me it was a fun project that I learned from. Also, when I purchased it I did not realize how expensive and hard to get the windows were...
The canopy looks great! Great job.

How are the repairs holding up? My camper shell cracked and I’m not too sure how to repair it. Your videos are a huge help though!
Hi. I have actually sold the canopy, bit I used it for quite a while and it all was just as nice when I sold it as when I finished the project.
Does it leak
Nope, no leaks.
Hollow Vision Car Edition what seal you use for the camper
@@kikezurek34 it is sealed by the windows on all 4 sides. The bottom of the canopy had some foam 3m type material.
