Bahot acche se samjaya aapne...pet scan....sidha sidha matlab hai pet scan ka ki konsa bhi ghav jakhma hoga to vaha pe y dikhne hi vala hai ki y cancer hai.matlab is scan se cancer ke sell nahi balki sharir me kaha pe ghav hai y detect hota hai.

Dear Doctor,
My mother was diagnosed with Ca. Ovary stage VIa in year Aug 2018 and she under went TAH, BSO, hemicolectomy surgery. In jan 2019, her 6 cycle of chemotherapy completed. Radiotherapy she was not fit, so doctor advised it is not recommended at this stage.
Now, she is developing inguinal lymphandenopathy in her both the lower limb. Not DVT seen in Doppler.
Medical oncologist suggested for PET CT, as she has infection in her both lower limbs, is it advisable for PET CT scan?
Her Ca125 is 18units/mL.
Please give your valuable suggestions

सर ये मेरे पापा के PET SCANE हुआ है गले में vocal cord में गांठ है । रिपोर्ट में ये लिखा है ये कैंसर बताया है ये कौन सी स्टेज है क्या पूर्ण रूप से सही हो जाएगा डॉक्टर किमो और रेडियो थेरेपी को बोल रहे है सफलता नहीं मिली तो ऑपरेशन होगा । प्लीज मेरा मार्ग दर्शन करे।
HEAD AND NECK:
FDG avid small enhancing thickening measuring approx 1.8 x 1.5 x 1.4 cm (SUVmax 5.6) in the right
false and true vocal cord, infiltrating the anterior commissure and right paraglottic space noted.
Rest of the larynx appear uninvolved.
Non FDG avid few subcentimetre sized bilateral level II cervical lymph nodes, the largest measures
7 mm in short axis diameter noted.
