God, this takes me back to the ponytail days, piling in the back of an Austin maestro van heading to roller express,bagleys..all in fresh new clobber....etc etc.....young guns of today just wouldn't understand 😂...great times
Just discovered this guy while having a few Sunday beers. Was on the 3rd video when the wife and kids came home. Actually jumped up clicking my fingers announcing o you've got to hear this guy. Eldest laughing said how old are you 🤣 I guess today was the day she realised mum and dad raved harder and safer than she ever will.
I'm just loving the tunes. Raving in the kitchen, I can remember all the music 🎶 but not much else I was recked all the time all day everyday until 8yrs ago. Long time Rob in Wales
omg. this reminds me when the english soldiers gave us those fantazia etc mixtapes back in the ealry 90s, with mixes from slipmat, top buzz, ss, hype, ratpack etc..... memoooorrriiiieeeeeeeeeeees
Right in the fkn feels and memories, got a couple on vinyl still in the crates. Dont go, future sound, livin in darkness and course rat pack searchin for my rizla. Nice selection for the oldschool
Your classic rave sets takes me back to sitting in my room, car, park listening to the pirate radio stations with a group of friends, playing cards. No cares, no worries, oh good times! Thank you.
Right! Many people have commented on my videos to say "too commercial" but the thing is, I was playing these tunes the first time around when they were promos and white labels. Like you said Charly hit different and you could hear where the sound/genre was going. 🎧🤓👊🏼
DJs Take Control was the tune that started so much for me, Top Buzz were unparalleled. Don't like the term Happy Hardcore and wouldn't class any of these as that but a solid mix, well done.
Any mix that begins with 'Charly' has to be an absolute winner, old chap....nicely done! Always had a soft spot for Jericho from the Experience album, personally... In the on-screen text, you ask which venues we went to...alas as an extremely awkward, spotty oik from the post-industrial Midlands in the early 90s, my venue was always the same...My bedroom!
Absolutely loved everything i was looking at & hearing on the screen. Great tunes selection, flawless mixing my friend (loved your Transitions) & you generally come across on the screen as a down to earth soul of the party guy. (hehe) that's me subscribed looking forward for more.
Unfortunately no! But I do have a Mixcloud account where you can find more of my mixes. TBH I'm just focusing on my TH-cam channel at the moment so all new mixes will be appearing here. 🎧🤓👊🏼
Pukka mate! Remember them all well... Follow me come go down town, lol - Awesome3/Nookie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! rushed my tits off to those tunes... Met the Ratpack at World Dance - good times...

When I danced in the past in my city, at every party I asked the DJ to play them.but this absolutely does not mean that other tracks are so-so. "oh that's fucking cool" your second name)
You're probably going to hate my answer but I've spent the last few years digitising my vinyl collection so I don't have to keep lugging heavy record bags and flight cases about. I play out at events throughout the year and most venues now only provide CDJs so going digital just made sense to me. 🎧🤓👊🏼 Thanks for asking. Keith
Mickey Finn gave up playing vinyl half way through his set at Sanctuary Reunion a few weeks ago (Marshall Arena, Milton Keynes) and switched to CDJs because the vibrations from the bass kept making the needles jump! I played there the week before and only had CDJs to play from (like most events and venues, CDJs are all that's provided). All tunes are recorded from my vinyl collection which I've spent the past few years digitising.
To all the old skool ravers out there you know who you are keep it real and respect to DJ Hurley keep the beautiful memories coming. ❤
Thank you 🤓🎧👊🏼

"Charlie" changed everything didn't it? You just knew there was no going back from that... so yeah, perfect mix starter. Sorted!
