i love how she addressed sexism in the dog world. im a small woman and really want a rottweiler someday, but whenever i mention that people always try to discourage me because im small! so it's really reassuring to see another woman work so well with her dog and give woman-specific insights in training her dog

I’m a pretty short girl standing at 5’0 exact. I own two Rottweilers, I trained & handle them myself. Height, weight, & sex does not affect the handling of the dog. Your attitude, discipline, and bond with the dog does

once the dog understands you are the alpha. they become pussycats.
rotts are great dogs. and very easily become part of the family.
      rip my holly and molly.
in truth it is harder to train the human more than the dog.

Hats off to those strong ladies. I have a bull arab an Australian breed. He is around 42kg. When I first adopted him he was highly reactive towards all animals and one time I didn’t see the other dog coming he pulled me down and dragged me for a few meters. I had to put on some weight on myself to be able to control him physically. It’s not easy.

Truth be told, my wife is very petite and she has a little trouble handling our boerboel. He has 20-30 pounds on her. Let’s just say, she doesn’t enjoy playing tug with him. He’s very obedient and understands she’s not as strong as I am. If he gets excited and pulls on the lead, she really has to be ready for it. But regular day to day stuff, his size and strength aren’t an issue if you train them properly.

@Logan_Susan If you really want a Belgian Malinois, make sure they are properly trained. The breed most definitely can take down a grown man. A LOT of military and police agencies world wide use this breed. BM are not known for their “friendliness”, say like a German Shepherd, this is why training is highly advised from a trainer who truly understands the breed’s thinking process. Hope this helps. ✌🏻💖🌺

The Rottweiler is definitely not a breed for an inexperienced dog owner or for an experienced dog owner that has not worked with lager, powerful and dominant breeds. I was disappointed to see that the woman in the video believes that because she makes six figures that nobody should talk to her to provide her with guidance on how to properly handle her dog. What does making six figures have to do with someone having the basic decency to listen while an experienced handler is providing them with guidance on how to properly handle their dog?

Yeah, that's modern woman logic... "I make my own money and I'm independent so I don't have to listen to anyone." And it's also them seeking to make money off other women... So they so, oh this training club is a safe space for women trainers, we won't hurt your feelings, and you get participation trophies. At the end of the day if the men are the best in the sport and you want to be the best, you train with the best.
