This is very helpful and worked great. The only thing is that in my version, I do not see the same place to select the color (like you selected the red).
At 0:15 he instructs to go to the Properties menu and select "Remove Background". Problem is, I'm using PS 24.0, and in my properties menu "Remove Background" doesn't exist. This is my 12th different vid tutorial on "how to remove a background on Photoshop" and I can't get any of them to actually remove a background.
Same here... I thought this might be a later written video since it said 2023, but it does not use the latest technology. Please, please someone send me in the right direction on removing image properly against difficult backgrounds.
This video is so helpful, thank you big time! I have an issue though. When I go in the brush to refine my edges, the completed work has a white background instead of transparent. What am I missing to give this a transparent background? TIA-Chris
hello sir, I'm facing a problem, whenever I try to remove background it doesn't select the human body.... it selects the other parts like grass, trees etc...can you please tell me how can I slove it?
Yes, completely agree. The auto/ai tools in Photoshop are not perfect. However, in this day and age, when everyone wants things done NOW, it is good to at least be aware of these features.
I didn't see it at first either. As someone said above, you have to go up to the top of the mask properties to where it says "View" and then select "Overlay."
Yeah, it's not perfect. Often it will depend on the image and generally there may need to be reworks. For a quick solution however it can be very impressive, and as the AI tools improve these features will only get better.
Hope this helps you remove a background quickly!
Thank you for not wasting our time with filler, this was the best guide to do this, quick and easy!
whats about hair?
@@tutorialzonebd516 I have a video for that here: th-cam.com/video/tuv4NuB_h5o/w-d-xo.html&ab
awesome trick that i search for long time, thank you so much
straight forward no bs tutorial. just the sauce
This is very helpful and worked great. The only thing is that in my version, I do not see the same place to select the color (like you selected the red).
I don't have remove background option in Quick action menu
make sure the image is rasterized and not a smart object. just figured that out as it happened to me
Perfect video! Right to the point! You saved me so much time and frustration!
First 20 seconds gave me all I needed...bro, you're the man
Appreciate the kind words, thank you
Very objective and very well explained video, perfect. Thank you very much
To the point. Thank you!
You're welcome David
Great vid, worked for me up until the color point at 0:30 - I DONT SEE THE COLOR OPTION UNDER THE TRANSPARENCY/OPACITY SLIDER
And is there a reason why "Object Aware" is selected instead of "Color Aware"?

If anyone finds out please let me know too... The button moved!
I'm having the same problem. So frustrating.
yea i hate the new photoshop can i dornwgrade?
Do check that your layer is not locked. The "Remove Background" should be there for an editable layer.

After some intense focus on Windows, I figured it out :) Thanks!
Yeah, it's not flawless, but it is pretty impressive - and with each version of PS, these features will only get better

thank you. great idea.
Definitely isn't flawless, but for one-click it can be a game-changer. Glad it was useful!
Thanks
You're very welcome Anil
Thank you
You're welcome
When I click on remove background, the background is not removed. I just a see a mask created in my layer
I do not see a color choose area, where could it be hiding?
You have to go up to the top of the mask properties to where it says "View" and then select "Overlay."
I don't have the colour option
Same…
Colour is the only reason I can see it in the picture
Thanks!
hello sir, I'm facing a problem, whenever I try to remove background it doesn't select the human body.... it selects the other parts like grass, trees etc...can you please tell me how can I slove it?
For a very detailed removal I still prefer using the polygonal lasso tool, manually selecting small areas

you save me. thank you very much
did not work on my image at all. I have too many leafs. It removed half of them....
Now we need a video on how to remove adobe process running in background
Yeah, my setup can get a bit 'whirry' when I've got all these programs running at once 🙈
Probably my fault but never is my screen the same as these videos. Can not see where color is
same .
I didn't see it at first either. As someone said above, you have to go up to the top of the mask properties to where it says "View" and then select "Overlay."
Do you cover how to change the color of the background?
Give this one a try Gary - th-cam.com/video/h3lgOgO0iGs/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=DesignWithDale
I had to watch this 76 times, pausing every 2 seconds to follow Mr Speedtalker here. Never did figure it out.
I always have to turn down speeds to 75% on the gear icon in bottom right hand corner.
Cant change the background colour, selection for colour isnt there
that properties tab does not pop up for me
i do not have this button
I believe they introduced this in late 2010s/2020. If you're on the first CC or CS versions, high chance you won't have this.
try to show different ways, this one did not work for me
Not me either
only work for blured background
