Nice videos Logan! Great explanations. I’ve seen Donnie’s Sled many times over the years and back in the TNT days when Dan Christiani had it. That “mouse trap 🪤 “ option let them get moving fast. Them Carolina 4x4 pullers called it a “sleigh” Keep up the great work work!
I never thought there'd be so much crammed into such a simple looking thing. It's basically a speciation piece of equipment like a tractor or bulldozer. You say "and that's pretty much all there is to one of these" and I'm like that's a lot of stuff crammed into that thing! Guy who designed it is pretty smart!
Some interesting and informative video's on the pulling sled. i have wondered, what make things work. Thank You for taking the time to explain everything. 1 question: What is the Maximum amt of weight you can put in the weight box for a pull??
We run events for NYTPA, ESP, East Coast Pullers, Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League, Full Pull Productions, Power Pulling Productions, OSTPA, Carolina Pullers, and many more groups.
Bauer builds the Ironman sleds. Bungart Motorsports builds the X-Factor sleds. Since this sled was purchased in 2005, Richard has built four of his own.
Interesting piece of engineering...

This only make me more excited for pulling season
Air cooled reminds me of snowmobiles with the motor. With the belts older swathers with driving them.

In the box alone, the maximum load is about 23,000 lbs. About 6,000 lbs can be added in other places as well.
Could you do a video showing all of your sleds and explain stuff about them
Where is the hydraulic pump mounted?
On the opposite side of the engine, it's bolted up to the timing case.
Thanks
is this pulling sled owned by both NYTPA and NTPA?
It is owned by Richard Love in Scottdale PA. We are hired by different organizations & individual promoters throughout the year.
oh ok, because NYTPA was using that pulling sled at the sunshine fair in cobloskill
