  • This video will show you how to cook Sarciadong Isda using tilapia. I think that best way to make fish sarciado is to fry the fish first before stewing it. This provides a nice texture on the outside which also helps prevents the fish from flaking while being stewed.

    😭 my dad used to make this for me but no one on my moms side of the family seems to know this dish exists!!! Thank you for this- I’ll be able to make it at home and bring back some childhood memories.

    Chef Pinoy hinde po ok pag-walang ginger sa Sarciado pero nasa sa iyo na un kung mayron o' wala basta ako gagamit ng ginger po but other than that it look's masarap kaya pala confident ka na tawaging Panlasang Pinoy

    brother, sa amin sa mandaluyong, kapag ganyang luto and nilagyan ng itlog, ang tawag nmin diyan is, "KARDILLO", ang sasiado nmin walang itlog, just plain onions, tomatoes, garlic and ginger, and we add 2-3 bay leaves!
    often we use sand goby (biya) for this recipe, but since sand gobies are now rare in the philippines, pwede na din, maski na ano. sa sarsiado nman, we generally use fishes like, kitang (spotted scat (which is also very rare nowadays in the philippines), pompano is also good and small trevallies!
    in cooking sarsiado, we add little worcestershire sauce and we also use worcestershire sauce with patis as sawsawan. try it bro, i guarantee you, you'll love it! cooking sarsiado and kadillo's almost the same, minus the egg and added worcestershire sauce. just make sure to add a little water, with fish and let it simmer until sauce is almost dry and a little of bacon grease/oil.

    Tanong naman ng ng Mrs, Assistant, or what ever it relationship mo very basic naman mga tanong it’s all common sense naman. Paano malaman ok na lagay ang fish maybe put finger kung maninit na ang oil ?? OMG a common sense naman !!!

    I use TAHURE (fermented tofu ) instead of EGG
    then sa fish DALAGANG BUKID, ALUMAHAN,TILAPIA and FRESH RIPE TOMATOES
    I DON'T PUT GINGER

    I wish you would stop showcasing tilapia in your future cooking. It's a bottom feeding fish. They're farmed in America, and they're raised near sewage treatment facilities cos they basically eat the "thing".

    Na ala-ala anew isa mong fish dish called Pinangat? The correct methods na magluto nang Pinangat ay luto sa kamatis, Spanish onions, salt and pepper at ginger in medium heat. Tomatoes , Onions and ginger sa bottom of the pan or pot, then fish, the rest of the ingredients to put top of the fish, remember never add water, because the tomatoes act as as a sauce, then put the lid on, cook in medium heat until tomatoes and fish are cook?     Kapag nagluluto ako nyan di ko sinasama yung fish sa sarciado para crispy pa rin. Yung anak ko din kasi gusto pritong isda lang. Ayaw ng sarciado. Sarap nyan. Kahit tuyo lang ulam nagluluto ako minsan nyam.
