Brad I wanted to say that it’s very obvious to me you’ve done a ton of work off the table and the quality of your hand analysis shows this quite well. You’re able to articulate your theoretical approach quite well and all of it is sound. Great job and once again this video format rocks! Straight to the point. PS given how good Johnnie Vibes is it’s certainly reasonable he may not put you on AQsuited given no one else ever raises in that spot. I think it’s an advanced play and opponent specific. Certainly justified. And you could always balance there by raising A spade X offsuit.
I hope you didn’t take the criticism too hard with the hand against Johnnie. You didn’t play the hand that badly. If Johnnie doesn’t fold his hand you wouldn’t face nearly as much criticism. Sometimes the other player just plays it well and just give all the credit to Johnnie.
Like you showed.. you could just as easily been on a bluff and bluffed him off his hand. Worrying about that silly chat is worthless as they can only see short term. They dont know that you ran that same bet line before on bluffs and only see you do it when you had the nuts. So in their small sphere of knowledge you only bet when you have the nuts.. but anyone who watches your vlogs know that you have been thowing in way more bluffs. Hell I think you overbluff at times. Anyway that chat is almost always negative overall. If that really bothers you than yeah dont play the live streams. But personally I'd rather walk away from a live stream game with a pocket of cash and chat calling me a nit than being a broke legend.
I agree 100% that one hand doesnt define you but in this case it was a clear flat call. Reraising other flusehes makes sense but AQss is a clear flat to trap and protect your calling range. Especially against a thinking player like johnny. Against a fish I might 3bet to get it in but this hand is a mandatory flat GG tho, nice win!!!

Mr. Owen, I’ve completely enjoyed all of your videos. Of which be many thank you. I’m a amateur to your wonderful talent. I hope you’ll ignore any and all negativity and negative comments. You’re on your journey to achieve your set goals. I hope I get to see more of your vlogs. True appreciation from The County Of Santa Barbara! Please have positive thoughts for all affected by the horrendous fires up in paradise where my stepsister lost her home and for all affected in the Malibu/Thousand oaks/ Camarillo/San Bernadino/ Etc plus. May you Mr. Owen have goodness and positivity always. Thank you again. And I adored cosmo!
Hey Brad, thanks for the video Man. Been watching from the start. Don’t worry too much about the negative bull in the comments on these things. It’s easy to be an armchair expert with all the time to analyse the best way to play hands with the info of all hole cards etc. You play well and understand when you don’t also which is hard to do and harder to admit. Lots of respect. Run well buddy. Shane, UK
Your play and commentary are super solid. I'm a pretty average/slightly above average player and have learned so much in terms of sizing and situational awareness.
I know why you are getting so much criticism for re-raising with the nut flush, but I don’t understand why. The nut flush would be the last hand I would think u have with this flop and a re-raise. Johnnie is a very cerebral player and knows you’re almost never re-raising an all spade flop with a nut flush. I didn’t think it was a bad play at all. Ofcourse, hindsight is always 20/20. I thought it looked like an overpair, maybe AA or KK, with a spade. Any overpair like QQ or KK with a spade would be worried about Ax with the nut flush draw and want to raise this flop. Any set might raise this flop too. People will always troll and pick apart every play you make, but you would have been called a genius if the money went in. I know you would have flatted his check/raise if he wasn’t such a good player, but Johnnie is very smart and wouldn’t normally think you would re-raise there with a nut flush. I think you made a great play for all the right reasons, and Johnnie just made an amazing play by folding. Let’s just leave it at that.
The thing is Brads play here is easy to criticize by the results oriented lower level players. Brad was clearly sticking to his plan of “playing for stacks”. This is high level thinking on both players parts IMO. JV had a plan to CR Brads bet then correctly re-evaluated after BO clicked it back. Brads play takes courage in that he has to put JV on a made flush and he’s risking JV sniffing it out and releasing. If this was a player not quite at JV’s level the money is going in quite often as we saw over and over back in the day on HSP by many so-called “greats” of the game. Note: If you are a person who wants to go on stream chats to rip guys like Brad for his poor play, saddle up at a MUG and show him how great you are with your play, not your ego behind the keyboard. I think your opinion may change.
But if you only had the flush draw with KK or QQ or even AA nobody would risk a little less than a quarter of their stack on a draw especially with the J10 straight draws out there aswell. he really polarized his range there and the fact that Johnnie was willing to play going into that 3 bet after the flop shows that he probably has a playable hand. If i was Johnnie i would be thinking the only hands brad could have are Ax Kx Qx of spades. I definitely would have just called. lemme know if there are any holes in my analysis im trying to get better.
@@mtchl4563 yeah you are absolutely correct... every single set or overpair with spade would flat there it absolutely makes no sense to 3bet with set or overpair with spade on that flop
Mitchell I think these are all great points against legitimate players. But I have also seen some great counters, to not flatting here. Any higher spade will kill your action on the turn here, any pair most likely as well. So if BO is putting JV on the made flush already, this could be a way of putting in a bluff to protect from another spade coming out. People want to criticize because you know what the hands are. In this situation, it's highly likely even a player of good quality at least sees the turn. It's ALOT easier to analyze and comment when you know what they had and how it played out.
Brad I've been following you since day one, I love with the content don't let some of this negative chat bring you down keep playing your game and doing your thing love the videos showing your grind.
Loved the hand with JJ vs QQ & QQ!! I had a hand exactly like this two weeks ago. I had JJ and there were two big raises before me. I struggled to call but I figured my odds of flopping a set with JJ were good as I put the other players on Queens Or Kings. Plus it was 5-1 on a call. I flopped the set, it was KK vs KK vs QQ, I faded the Q, scoop! Great to see my thoughts so similar to yours since you’re actually good at poker. I’m hoping to say hi while you’re in Denver soon, great vlog, take care.
Brad, I've been watching since like episode 30 when I found out about the blog and binged every single one. I think you're the best vlogger out there and I'm a huge fan. Keep up the good work! Hopefully I'll make it to a Meetup game soon
I love that when live-stream commentators (and in this case, poker writers and pod casters) are critical, you don't ignore it. It goes right in the vlog, you explain your thinking, accept what was said, and move on. Perfect.
Hey man when I first started to tune in I unfortunately started way after you put out tons of videos but once I found your videos to be the best ever I decided to binge watch from your very first episode...I’m just making it to this one and I just want to say that you should use the energy of all haters to keep on be the amazing poker player you are! People are always going to have hateful things to say unfortunately but never let that affect you negatively and never let it hold you back! Hey man don’t pay attention to the negative feedback. 95% of those people don’t have your knowledge of the game. You went for it and he just made a great lay down. The videos get better and better. Just keep killing it!!
You are definitely a nit. That’s not the issue. I’m not a hater. I just don’t think have the right personality for this. The best thing you ever did was ride on the coattails of Neeme.
@@Nobody-Move Fortunately no one makes you watch his videos. So those of us that do like him, his personality, and his videos, can continue to support him. Whereas people who are needlessly assholes, like yourself, can go elsewhere. Nit or not, at least I'm not a prick.
There was absolutely nothing wrong with the way you played the hand against Johnny. Don't listen to all of the negative comments about the hand. You said it perfectly yourself, if you were to flat, that would show strength. Most people would think that a 3bet would look like a bluff. Great result on the night. I hope to be at a table with you some day in the future.
There's no such thing as a 'perfectly played hand', Brad. And we all make mistakes anyway. So ignore those who are making fun of you, cause those people aren't worth the attention. - Keep doing what you're doing.
You’re a pro, playing pros. People who can see your whole cards criticize you live, amateurs criticize you after watching from their beer stained couches. You still were the big winner of the stream; they have... nothing. They can all go pound sand. Keep up the grinding Brad :)
Here is my opinion. I love your vlogs, you provide interesting content each and every vlog. You are a very good poker player and are not afraid to admit when you make a mistake, usually slight tilt, or playing too many hands after losing a big pot. The flush over flush hand is unique and although it is a great situation, if you played it slow and the turn brought a 4 flush, people would have criticized you also. Johnny is a great player and he would have been very tentative in investing more money into a pot that you bet and then called his 3bet, he knows what is going on, he is a world class player. If another suited card came out or the board paired, the results would have been the same as if you called, he would not have invested 1 more dollar. Most of the haters are trying to get a reaction, or are losing players, who probably don’t realize they are losing players, because they don’t track their results. When you play vs great players, you have to get creative sometimes and sometimes it requires you to make a play thinking on the third level, which appears to some people you are playing on the first level. Keep up the great work!
Brad, no one should be giving you a hard time for a poker hand. I personally would have played it differently, but at the end of the day it’s your money and your decision. You’re still a great player and great person. Keep grinding!
Brad, following you for a long time, first time commenting. I actually very much like your unorthodox 3bet line with AQ in that spot. Really dig your reasoning. On plus side, now you can 3bet in similar spots more frequently and take down pots
Let he who plays mistake free poker hands cast the first stone.... Brad, you put yourself out there and you’re so comically self deprecating along the way. I love your sense of humour and humility. I’ve met Brad a couple of times and he’s a genuinely nice guy. Keep up the great content bud!

NEVER MIND THE CRITICISM, Look at your subscriptions and how much you are appreciated. I love watching and learning from you. Great commentary and playing.
Forget the haters brad..you're an awesome player, i think most of us that watch your videos do it cus they re funny and we learn from them..at least i take notes.
Brad, forget the haters. You are doing things, playing at levels that most of these "critics" could only dream about. Your hourly in these games shows you are tops, so don't sweat it. And yes you can always be better, but those that try and get their point across with insults or vulgarity are not worth the keyboard they are hiding behind. Keep up the great work and entertaining the masses. Cheers from Oklahoma.
LOL! That fool said, "A little bit of urine comes outta me." HAHAHAHAHA. I'm watching all the poker vlogs starting from most recent and going backwards. that was the funniest one liner yet, Brad, my boy!!
The more I watch your vlog, the more I appreciate your skill and knowledge. Don't worry about negative comments, all your long term results are positive 🙂
subscriber from your vlog #1, first time commenting. fck those people who criticize the way you play. as you said, you play to what you think is the best way to bring in the profit. honestly, how any people gold their flopped flush after being 3 betterd on a flopped bet. if Johnny wasn't such an excellent player, you'd be stacking anyone else in the casino sitting in his seat. your game has evolved tremendously since the beginning of your vlog so big ups to you on that but your sense of humor........
You have been improving over time with your game. It's really good to see that. The hands with Johnnie, you did not play bad at all. Its could have gone either way in terms of your 3 bet on the flop. He is just a good player and knows when to fold.
I would suggest that when you are reading the comments as soon as you see negative comments just skip them. Thanks for the blog it has helped me a lot.
I love Seat 3's reaction at 5:50 he's like "holy shit these are the guys we're playing with?" he might have stacked off. Dream situation, wrong opponent.
You should not worry about the negative criticism because those are mostly people that are jealous and envious. I have seen you make some mistakes in the past; but who doesn't? The bottom line is that you're a winning player and that's what matters my friend. Keep these vid vlogs comming and don't relent!!
Keep up the great live streams Brad ! Forget the haters , they’re always the most insecure ones . Something about that flush hand threatened them, maybe they’ve played lots of hands not optimally. The true rock stars of poker would never berate you , they’ve all been there & realize there’s a learning curve. Only a true rock star could do what you are doing anyway, ie, exposing your hands & thoughts to the world ! Kudos! 😎⭐️

Forget about the haters bro. You're awesome! You have a wicked sense of humor. In New Zealand we have a saying... Turangawaewae. Which means - Stand tall. Also, "do the Mahi (work), get the treats". Just google William Wairoa for a laugh.
Hi Brad. I never wrote any comment although I watched all your episodes and always hit the thumbs up button.. ;-) But I will tell you my opinion according to the hand with Johnnie... I like the raise because it can be sooo polarising on the other side as well. Some opponents may think that you would never raise it with the flopped nuts. Many would easily stick it in with a medium flush. Maybe Johnnie was not the right opponent for this gameplay. He is a tighter player I´d say (maybe sometimes even moneyscared)...but I still like the polarising raise! Wanted to let you know. ;-) Do not let this criticism influence your play and your soul as well, Brad. People quickly say nasty things on the internet...that will happen sometimes. Take it and try to be yourself. Stay as you are. Thanks for your videos, your content and your knowledge you are willing to share. I appreciate! Best wishes from Cologne, Germany. Alex
@8:30 … boom…a little bit of urine comes out of me….OMG I lost it. Your jokes are like left hooks, they come out of nowhere and can floor you. Love it!
Don't let the comments on the flush v flush get to you. At the end of the day, you're the one that got to be in the stream; and, you're the one doing what you love to do for a career. All the negative feedback on one hand in the millions of hands you've played is just noise. Also a good way to weed out the people you don't ever need to spend time or energy with. Keep up the good work
Hi Brad I'm a fan. Concerning the Johnny Vibes hand, only you know whether or not you are balanced there. Forget the haters. One thing to mention though, your range is probably quite different opening EP vs. the button opening range in your K4 example. Cheers and hope to see more of you vlogs :)
*Brad* great vlog. Bottom line, Johnnie made an incredible lay down. If he would have called. They all would have been saying what a genius you were for reading him so strong and getting the max out of it. Keep doing what you're doing. 👍
yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge! "i have to restrain myself from snap calling" also, we're all idiots sometimes, and if Sir Vibes calls or raises there, people are talking about how your "unorthodox level on level" betting strategy is "brilliant" - funny how sometimes we're the windshield, sometimes the bug. heck you were the bug while still WINNING THE POT! Good work Brad, great vlog. thanks!

Keep up the great work!
Brad, no one should be giving you a hard time for a poker hand. I personally would have played it differently, but at the end of the day it’s your money and your decision. You’re still a great player and great person. Keep grinding!
I appreciate your channel, I have learned a lot from you. Thanks!
Shout-out from Riga, Latvia :) You’re doing a great job with handling criticism and a great vlog!
Mate, I'm loving these videos. Loving your personal honesty. 👍
enjoying watching my way through your vids, big fan of Jcarver who popped up in another of your vids nice to see to see him again. keep up the good work, haven't checked andrew's stream for a while, but i like how your content is a little more concise. keep up the good work, I'll be tweeting you if i'm in Vegas any time soon. glhf
NEVER MIND THE CRITICISM, Look at your subscriptions and how much you are appreciated. I love watching and learning from you. Great commentary and playing.
I really appreciate heading your logic about these hands. It's great you put yourself out there
Forget the haters brad..you're an awesome player, i think most of us that watch your videos do it cus they re funny and we learn from them..at least i take notes.
Love the commentary unmute when he says Nicely done by Brad hahah subtle
I am a simple man, I see a Brad video, I give a like.
You’re a crusher, Brad! I’ve learned a TON from your vlogs.
So did I!
Haters are always gonna hate. U have to ignore them, or it will eat u up. Love the content. Hope u run good.
Hey Brad! Love the vlog, almost binged the whole thing and my poker is definitely helping my game
Brad very good work, enjoying your poker blogs.. Wonderful games thank you
Your best video thus far. Thanks.
My favorite nit brad is the best
Keep up the great live streams Brad ! Forget the haters , they’re always the most insecure ones . Something about that flush hand threatened them, maybe they’ve played lots of hands not optimally. The true rock stars of poker would never berate you , they’ve all been there & realize there’s a learning curve. Only a true rock star could do what you are doing anyway, ie, exposing your hands & thoughts to the world ! Kudos! 😎⭐️
Like how brad has no ego at all, if someone’s good he won’t deny it and can respect their game.
Don’t let the bastards get you down!!! I appreciate all you do. Sincere thanks.
The road to the top is brutal B, keep on pounding. The win speaks for itself and those trolls just wish they can be in your earned postion! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and hopefully I can play with you one day!
Forget the negativity. Keep it up Brad I love your stream
Johnnie folding a flush to a 3bet on the flop is ridiculously exploitable hahaha
nah he just knows how tight brad is
Forget about the haters bro. You're awesome! You have a wicked sense of humor. In New Zealand we have a saying... Turangawaewae. Which means - Stand tall. Also, "do the Mahi (work), get the treats". Just google William Wairoa for a laugh.
Hi Brad.
I never wrote any comment although I watched all your episodes and always hit the thumbs up button.. ;-)
But I will tell you my opinion according to the hand with Johnnie... Wanted to let you know. ;-)
Do not let this criticism influence your play and your soul as well, Brad. People quickly say nasty things on the internet...that will happen sometimes. Take it and try to be yourself. Stay as you are.
Thanks for your videos, your content and your knowledge you are willing to share. I appreciate!
Best wishes from Cologne, Germany.
Alex
I like your videos!! Very entertaining!! Keep going!! Best of luck at the tables!!!
Great vlog Brad, glad you won yuuuge tremendous amount of money.
Great stuff, screw the haters, it’s easy when they get to see the cards. If you like it keep it going!
Really enjoys watching you play. Maybe when im in Vegas you will be doing a meet up game
Brad’s dry humour is the same as The Office, it takes time to create a liking to but it’s hilarious.
Always going to be haters out there. Keep pumping these out. Truly enjoy watching them.
@8:30 … boom…a little bit of urine comes out of me….OMG I lost it. Your jokes are like left hooks, they come out of nowhere and can floor you. Love it!
Great approach to the game. Keep grinding. Ignore haters.
brad you seem nice and you work hard at this game! you're appreciated
I think you are playing great!! I hope you keep up with amazing vlogs.
yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge!
"i have to restrain myself from snap calling"
also, we're all idiots sometimes, and if Sir Vibes calls or raises there, people are talking about how your "unorthodox level on level" betting strategy is "brilliant" - funny how sometimes we're the windshield, sometimes the bug. heck you were the bug while still WINNING THE POT!
Good work Brad, great vlog. thanks!
@8:30 "little bit of urine comes out of me" fkn hilarious!
Don’t worry about the comments. The internet is an awful place. The most important thing is I almost spit out my drink when you said “A little urine comes out of me.” Keep it up buddy. Love the vlog and the dry humor.
Lol thanks man
U have great vlogs and U play well, keep grinding, Ur living the dream!
Just wanted to say you make me laugh and one of my favorite vlogs! Hope to play against you one day
People always have the perfect play once the cards are turned up. Don't listen to them man. You cant do it the same way every time. Play your game. Love your content. Keep it up!

7:01 "Definetely would have made more money, probably." Definetely probably haha
I liked the way you played the flush over flush hand. When you c bet 50 and he checked raised you to 150 he couldve hade a set where he can suck out on the turn and river and you go broke. Great job!
dont quit love your blog!!
Don't listen to the haters in the chat. Who cares? Keep winning money. Love watching your videos.
