My wife and I ride a 2016 GL1800 and a 2022 Road Glide. We test rode the Yamaha with an open mind because we like its looks. We were quickly disappointed with its heavy feel and severe lack of power.
Adaptive cruise control is nice
They all look similar to Judge Dredd’s bike . But nothing beats the 1600 cc BMW , crazy money , but fast ! 160 hp
BMW will never catch up with the Wing. Look at the amount of issues the BMW has mainly due to bad QC. Then there is that engine. How long does it last!

Rode a previous year , it rattled so much. I thought it was going to fall apart. My Harley doesn’t rattle as much. I have a Goldwing also, Smooth and fast, and as ALWAYS, reliable
Funny the 2018 Goldwing had 98% of these features and will go 300,000 mi....something no V twin can do.
Why didn’t they make it a V4 like it was in the 80’s. I had a 1985 Venture Royale and it was a great bike and very powerful, smooth motor. I had it for 20 years with no major issues. I don’t know how this could be a Goldwing killer? A two cylinder engine compared to a six! That’s quite a claim! I would still rather have a Goldwing or BMW K1600.

Nie wiem jak wy ja zauważyłem nowy przód motocykla ,choć stary bardziej mi się podobał. Jest to piękną maszyna którą chce się jeździć po drogach ponieważ zasługuje na to tak jak i my kierowcy I jest dużą konkurencją dla innych topowych marek motocykli Myślę że Yamaha poprawiła błędy które wcześniej zrobili i rzuca go na rynek Na pewno znajdzie duża rzeszę fanów motocykli by się nią cieszyć
Szkoda że są produkowane na Amerykański rynek,stąd też nowej w salonach Yamaha nie da się kupić.Pojawia się powoli już w komisach,w Sędziszowie Małopolskim widziałem z 2018 za 92500PLN,trochę droga🤔Stąd też,jeszcze długo będę jeździł moim Drag Starem Classic😉
Had they taken the bigger v4 from the second generation vmax, I would absolutely buy one. But all they did was cave to Harley heads and built a better Harley, not a better Yamaha, if anything, it was a step backward

@@albertobodini2127 I cannot refer to this statement by the major motorcycle manufacturers. The engines of these motorcycles could reach EU-5 if they wanted. And then a manufacturer from India comes along with a simple motorcycle, the "Enfield 650 Super Meteor", which also meets the Euro 5? Big brand manufacturers from Japan and the USA can no longer manage things with the emissions standards that a manufacturer from India can? Where is the Harley V-Rod? Where is the Yamaha V-Max? Where are the motorcycles that embody the breath of freedom?They simply don't want to sell anymore. For me personally, the current model lines from Japanese manufacturers are no longer attractive enough. And this motorcycle in the video is no longer being built either. Where are the Honda CB 1100, Honda Magma, Honda Sabre? Where have the motorcycles gone that you would like to get on straight away? Which generation still rides real motorcycles? Today's generation only wants to be connected to the Internet and no longer rides heavy motorcycles. Young people just play with their smartphones and don't know the slightest hint of freedom, where only the journey is the destination. And then people are surprised when motorcycle manufacturers disappear from the market. Check out the current models. There are no longer any heavy cruisers from Japanese manufacturers in Europe. There is no longer a character actor after you turn around on the side of the road. The story of not being able to meet the EU 5 standard is just a fairy tale.

I had a 2018 TC, Loved that bike but.....with them swallowing cam shafts left n right not to mention 9mos lead time to a fix. Had to sell it.
Only thing that can kill a goldwing is a newer goldwing

The only problem for me I don't like about the Goldwing. It seems a lot smaller. For Anyone over 6 foot caused discomfort for the legs. Plus the passenger comfort is subpar compared to the 1800's. I would consider one of these bikes because the bike feels longer. and the seat looks more comfortable. .

The BMW although a great machine is not very comfortable for the passenger. GL1800 is more comfortable by far especially on longer rides.

Well, I guess you should aim high by calling out the Goldwing. This bike never was or ever will be in the class of a Goldwing. Big engine heat, terrible handling, and very weak on horsepower. Antique design. I haven't seen one of these at the dealer for at least two years.
Bike is out of production for a couple years now. The only people who liked it were v-twin fans that didn't want a Harley. Had some cool tech, but nothing that the Goldwing didn't have. Felt underpowered as well. Definitely didn't have a HUD either, lol. This video is trash.
