That is the exact brand and bottle of "Pommes Sauce" in our fridge. It is from Germany and from what I know "fry sauce" in Germany is in most places basically mayo and we call fries with your kind of "fry sauce" when we order it "Pommes rot-weiß" so "fries red-white" with red standing for Ketchup und white standing for mayo.

i live in Utah and fry sauce is at literally every restaurant. i love it. ours is more of an equal ratio of ketchup and mayo tho.
In the Netherlands we call it “Frietsaus”, it’s an alternative for mayonnaise.
We take our mayonnaise very serious, you cannot put mayonnaise on the shelf if it has not minimum of 70% fat!
Nowadays most people eat fry sauce as a healthier choice than mayonnaise. :)

I like to dip my nuggets in a mix of honey and Sriracha. Its really good and I recommend you try it! (Btw, i always it with spicy nuggets, i still have yet to try it with regular ones!)
Yeah, maybe try with potato wedges. I know that also fries, but often times potato wedges are a bit more bitter, because of how they are prepared. The sweetness of the fry sauce really pairs well with that.
If you ever go to Utah, definitely try the fry sauce! It’s a bit different from what you showed, but so good!!

Depends where you at. European McDonalds have a fry sauce made from mayo and danish/tartare sauce, and that's what fry sauce is to me. Here we call mayo and ketchup "pink sauce" (talking about Italy/Switzerland btw)

It’s honestly much better if you make it at home and add equal parts ketchup and Mayo . When I make fry sauce it’s more of a pink color. So good.

I make my own with, Mayo, Ketchup and, Pickle juice. Just a hint of pickle juice so, it doesn’t get too watery. The juice gives it that zing you’re looking for
my state has fry sauce and we use it on mainly fries, chicken nuggets, burgers, and a lot of other stuff. super tasty
We have “burger sauce” in England. You get it at kebab shops or sometimes fish and chip shops. It’s literally ketchup and Mayo mixed probably 60/40. I prefer Mayo mixed with franks hot sauce!
Fries dipped in Tartar Sauce is golden! The only way I eat fries.

Pommes frites is chips/fries in German.. I grew up in Germany and it’s basically a mayonnaise sauce it’s really creamy and thick and it’s just amazing.

Fry sauce in the netherlands is just like mayo but cant be called that because it has less than 70% fat and 5% egg yolk
Mayo/ketchup mixed is the ultimate go to fry dip. I usually add a drop of bbq and Tabasco sauce into the mix as well or franks red hot
In the Philippines there's a street food we used to eat called Cheese stick, basically it's rolled apa with cheese inside of it, looks like a thin lumpia. And me and my family always dip it on Mayonnaise and Ketchup sauce.
i love mixing ketchup and mayo then dipoing my fries in it. i also like mixing ketchup and valentina and using it for fries too. it's soo good
You should try joppie sauce, it's a yellow colored sauce which is sweet. It's well known in the Netherlands :). It tastes amazing with fries.

Have you tried m&m sauce (aka chicken sauce)? It’s also primarily ketchup and mayonnaise. It can be found at many a mom and pop place. The only chain I can think of that had it is Dairy Queen, but it was one of the things they phased out when they became more corporate. It’s good as a dipping sauce, but also goes excellently on a (fried) chicken sandwich.

There is a pretty large difference between the ones you can buy in places like Europe, to where is was originally created (here in the state of Utah)
As someone who has lived in an area with fry sauce (South doesn't have it TT) highly suggest it on like hamburgers or on everything

This is another recipe for a sauce that my mom loved making for French fries when I was a kid. Try mixing 1 part ketchup to 1 part mayo and a little bit of honey in it. It was delicious!

There are 2 diff fry saus 1 is american mayo ketcup mix. Frietsaus is dutch and german that a lighter form of mayonaise and its also not as sour as mayonnaise in diff countries. I only eat Dutch maunaise i take it with me in holidays it goes well on every sandwich its nice to add to omelets to make it creamy and try to add it in a salade

IIRC Heinz was at one time selling a combo in a squeeze bottle called "mayochup". Sooner or later every existing sauce will be combined with other sauces, and then the hybrid will be combined with still others, until one magical uni-sauce is created that is good for all purposes. Personally, I recommend the triple dip of mustard, ranch and bbq on fries or rings. But they must be separate, and combined only in the moment of dipping and followed by immediate consumption.
Where I am from we call it for “Mayoketchup” and it goes really nice with tostones and mofongo (boiled, fried and mashed plantains) but it usually has equal parts mayo and ketchup and maybe some spices. It’s really good.

That fry sauce is a lot different than the fry sauce you buy from other places. I’ve tried it before while traveling through Utah to get to Oregon, the ketchup and mayo seem to be a lot more balanced, almost like it’s a 1:1 ratio instead of the type in the video

My favorite brand of french fries sauce is "Remia". It's mayo with pickled radishes.
We have that all over Germany so I'm kinda surprised other people don't know about it
BBQ sauce is really good with nuggets and fries. I found that out a uear ago when mc donalds gave me BBQ sauce instead of sweet and sour sauce.
I think you know this jeanell because every street food vendors in Philippines use a ketchup and mayonnaise combination as a sauce for fries and other stuff. The only difference is we use banana ketchup and it's so much better.
My families tradition fry sauce is just a little bit more ketchup than mayo. Sometimes add just a little bit of soy sauce. We did this in elementary school all the time and I still do make it from time to time.
Best simple fry sauce to make is just ketchup, Mayo, a little bit of mustard and a little bit of relish. Then you can customize it with spices like garlic powder, cayenne, or whatever else you want.
Whenever I make "fry sauce" I just combine ketchup mayo and mustard and if its around ill splash in some malt vinegar. Its ***chefs kiss*** everytime!

All of the north-western United States have fry sauce in every burger place. Even widespread fast food places like mcdonalds have fry sauce in Idaho, Utah, Montana.
Dutch fritessaus is basically a low-fat alternative to mayonaise. So maybe the german kind (the kind you taste tested in this video) is like that too?

Ranch is also good with fries... but it needs to be the homemade restaurant quality Ranch!! Maybe that fry sauce would be good on a chicken sandwich? Or spread it on two pieces of bread and add cheese and make a grilled cheese with it???

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and fry sauce is really popular there. You can get it at Burger King. I didn’t know that it wasn’t a universal thing and when I asked for fry sauce in another state the person said “uhhh you mean ketchup?” My roommate cracked up.

As a fry sauce fanatic I can confidently say That ain't real fry sauce 😆 if it's not mayo + ketchup, it's not fry sauce. And adding a dash of pickle juice, a dab of mustard, a tiny bit of hot sauce, a little bit of cracked pepper and powdery Parmisean cheese just takes it to the next level of sauces.
