They actually launched it cheaper than the 10 pro, but the problem is the usb 2.0 in 2022 for a flagship (a proper one) like why that standard belongs to 2000’s it’s been so many years since the launch of usb 3, 3.1, 3.2 and now even USB 4 yet these companies give us usb 2.0. No fast file transfer, no display out, few accessories could be used. Practically only useful for charging and wired earphones. Such cost cutting is really a shame.

I need your opinion on my next phone which I'll buy probably by this year end. Should it be a Mid-range or a Flagship?
I can afford a upper mid-range budget this time but, not a Flagship budget like S22 Ultra/iPhone 13 max pro.

Don't know why all the big famed youtubers are hiding it and not disclosing it. May be they are paid by company or feared of getting banned by company.

Xiaomi 12 pro has one major flaw. The earpiece is not a speaker but just an opening that let's top speaker sound come to the ear while on calls. That means the top loudspeaker is used for calls. This results in alot of voice spillage from the top speaker, which is really loud in quiet places specially. People can easily hear your call conversation in a quiet place.

The MI 12 pro is cheaper by 14k in India for their base.
You will be using the primary camera 80% of the time and the telephoto 15% of the time so the Camera is more or less the same. The 12 pro is the worst performing 8 gen 1 device so far. If the 12 pro included ip67 or something the 12 pro could be recommended. The OnePlus on the other hand looks ugly but with a beautiful Emerald green, I don't understand both devices are very average. 2022 is not going great for Android phones. A processor this expensive is hardly keeping up with even the 870. I have given up on android smartphone for 2022. will have to see Next year.

Your situation is exactly same as mine was. Upgraded to OP 10 Pro from Poco F1 four days back. The phone's a beast. I absolutely love it. I just feel the front camera could perform better at this price range and heating to be managed better. Speaking about heating issues, I'm hearing the OP 10 Pro to be performing better than it's competitors. So what's that about?
Anyway, it's a wonderful buy. I'll recommend it. Do check Google Pixel 6 Pro too as I've been hearing a lot of buzz about it over 10 Pro.

Let me mention the two highlights of the 10 Pro, might help you.
      1. The display - half of my day is getting wasted in just adoring the buttery-amoled display. It's a lovely trap haha.
      2. The charging - lightining fast. Go take a bath and get back to find it a 100%. Insane!
Got a couple of software updates since I bought it. They're surely addressing the heating issue. It'll get better hopefully.

Its shocking too see how much the prices are sky rocketing for these tech ??? Are they seriously worth it ??
Damn it isn't a point of whether one can buy or not but common these tech companies themselves say that Batteries are a depleting component in mobiles, after a year we c a huge drop in standby time .. so does it make it even worth purchasing .. ??

@@nikcentered old tech? when midrangers don't offer quad hd ltpo displays, top of the line processors, ip certifications, and flagship grade cameras with bigger sensors, better image processing and OIS... most flagships also still get 2-3 software updates even a year after they launch , which is the same or even more what midrange phones have when they launch (they often get 1-2 years less). Depending on where you live flagships also tend to devalue a lot, for example I got a find x3 pro a month ago for 560€, i could have gotten a midrange oppo reno 6/7 for the same price with worse specs, same as buying least year's s21 ultra rather than this years s22 base model... which you could get for the same price if you look carefully... anyway my point is, there is a reason why they are called flagships...
