New player here, started about 2 weeks before legion, this was helpful to me and thanks for the info, liked an subbed and gonna look into ur mapping vid
Nice vid for tips and tricks and I subbed because it's one of the more clearly explained and quick without being 'rushed'...but like some farming videos out there, I cringe whenever I see the "...for New Players" because it just isn't true. With the effort and time to level a 'Reliable' build, which for new players would involve looking up a proven build to copy (sometimes after hours of frustration with failed builds of their own), as well as either enough Mapping Knowledge to plan ahead what you want/can get with a partially done Atlas, or straight out clearing the Atlas to get the currency for unshaping recipe and Shaper/Elder Orbs to lock off unwanted maps...by that time any player is no longer "New", just looking for efficient tips for faster farming. Out of my 780+hrs in the game, about 750 are actual play time, and while I'm somewhat in the bracket of "Still struggling" I am by no means New. While I realize now that 'Act Leveling' is just a bunch of boring nonsense that must be done before the real game of Map Content, I didn't know that when I started. So when referring to 'New Players' when talking about mapping is a bit, dare I say, rude, because I'm still seeing a bunch of toxic ppl in chat reacting to questions for help with "Go through the Acts and unlock the Atlas before bothering to ask." And with as in-depth and frustrating as PoE is, I can imagine how many ppl just say fk it and uninstall because they genuinely don't know what they're doing, and not many ppl will give a non-sarcastic answer. Sorry for the rant. It's just that I'm tired of seeing video titles stating "...for New Players!!!" and especially the "Currency Farming" ones, and having them start with a completed Atlas. I don't expect hand-holding, but I do expect at least SOME type of tips or hints on what to look out for and save up on during leveling in order to make the process a bit more bearable and a little better prepared for when the time comes to start working on the Atlas. Personally I keep running out of things here and there just trying to tweak the gear I have to grind through the Atlas, because I don't have the currency needed for a lot of the recommended gear, and the currency-farming videos all recommend starting with a complete Atlas in order to set up for farming. And I'm not even halfway through Tier 9 maps yet...at lvl 87 with 98k Dps Cyclone. **Sry 126698.6 Dps by what PoB is calculating: Max Stage Cyclone with 3Pwr Charges, Fortify, Onslaught, Purity and, Pride**
onslaught flask and quicksilver flask also setting a timer when you enter a map and seeing how long it takes to get the map to below atleast 10 mobs left THink NASCAR
If you want a really aggressive filter, use Grimro's (found at POEWizard.com). Currency Cop can be googled. So can Exilence. If the aggression of Grim's filter is too much for you, most just use Neversink. If you want to customize one, use FilterBlade.
Atlas'd Burial Grounds sustain and have a windripper deadeye with 61iiq plus the 15 from the ripper. I clear pretty damn fast and don't find shit. Pretty sure I found way more currency and stuff with a 30ish iiq ice golem mancer and its legion clear was trash... I'm poor and I'm tilted as fuckd.
syncMixer it would be awesome to have that information but as far as I know the exact drop rate percentages are not released on a per item case by GGG. My general rule is the more valuable, the more rare
Droprate for expensive cards also changes from time to time between leagues. For example, the droprate on The Doctor were reduced, making the card the most expensive it's ever been, as far as I know.
is there a university you have to attend to deep dive into this game? it's insanely huge. been playing for. a while now, I never saw a lot of the stuff showed here.
The game is incredibly bloated with ZERO in game explanation. Its not that difficult just there is lots of stuff which is dumped at you and then hidden. The devs actively avoid developing any hint, in game guides. simple example: selling to vendor three different colored socket connected item lands you a currency allowing you to change coloured sockets. spent 60h leveling up in act 1 to act 3 (back when there were 3 acts only) before i found out. and I found it out from YT. after 60h of gaming i had maybe 20 of those games in my stash... because i did not know what to collect to sell (also loot filter was shit back then) now i have no shortage of them. great, amazing game but its not friendly for casual player who just want to jump in.
Cartographer’s seals, trade three sextants to a vendor for one seal, three white sextants give white seals that let you remove any white map completion. Yellow seals can remove yellow map completions and a red seal lets you remove any tier of map
Throwen all into one tab saves nothing ... You have to sit and sort it at som point, and then you spend the same time on as throwing it into right tabs right away. Setting all maps up also saves nearly no time ..since you have just spend alot of time setting it up anyway lol. But sure i give you a few secs saved on animation loading now and then :P
Flow is the key here. Yes you have some time at the end or next day to sort things. But you keep your flow of thoughts concentrated on maps, portals Hail and Kill, repeat
How is this information going to make any sense at all for people who are NEW to the game? Every PoE video with "beginners guide" or "guide for new players" in the title seems to forget the fact that you start at lvl 1 with little to no knowledge of the game at all. I have played as much as i can, but i have other things in my life to take care of as well, like work and family. So i i have no idea about at least half of the tings you are talking about, while you assume that new players start at lvl 89 with a decent knowledge about Delving and other things like that.
I'm at level 48, I started playing 3 days ago and for me, this guy's explanations are perfectly intelligible. he is not to blame if many people new to the game are retarded to the point of not understanding something so well explained Lol.
the game is all about min maxing as everything stacks up. if your build is over the place, if your equipment is all over the place (you have lots of es from equipment but non from passives and your int is low you are nerfing yourself) also life. you must have min 2.5k for first three map tiers of map.
if a player has been unlock all the poe features like mapping, he/she is more than a new player lol new player in my terms, lvl 0 character and brand new on poe lol
This is simply not true. While I know it's based off of opinion and your neglected to acknowledge that, it is very much geared to help "newer" players.
Game is pretty complex to new players and it changed quite a bit between every league. It took me almost an entire league to get into the game. Took me 3 leagues to be able to setup my atlas and farm efficiently and sustain my own maps, and it's not like I'm new to gaming or stupid...there's just so much things you can do and spend alot of time on.
This is just really bad advice for new players. Running the same map 1000 times instead of actually exploring the game and the atlas is the exact opposite of what a new player should be doing. This is a one-way ticket to poe burnout and is so boring. Speed farming and running the same map over and over are not the same thing.

Add to this ppl new players like me. You will see me all exited about having a rare item on lvl2 map after killing the mob that fires fireball from sky. Doing again to have two items. Later discover it doesnt add to my idea of being overpower as i lost exp, time and doing all wrong, wondering what happen. To me a lvl 40 character is proleague. Then again i look at races like tie23he an see them 4 , like gods of this game.

Never find a HeadHunter, mirror, etc...average 2000 fusions for a six link and most of the time that's not enough! Rarely I find a 6-link BA or weapon mostly the useless one's and so on...and so on...Not lucky with crafting, not lucky with corrupting items...and so on...whahahahaha...I love POE...
To each his own, but I would rather put a bullet in my brain than spend hours and hours speed running the same maps. I guess you would have to be oriented towards bianary code items holding significant importance to your ego. I'm not oriented that way. I just play to relax and have fun.
Running low level braindead difficulty maps for hours to grab tiny orbs so you can aquire a belt that makes your character super sayan. This belt will help you to get more tiny orbs. This game is a clown fiesta
as if that is the only thing you can/people do.. get currency to get gear to push delve, farm currency to craft for either youself or for selling, get currency for buying gear to new builds you are working on, do challenges to get those juicy league rewards. there are alot to do in this game you doofus

Currency Cop certainly made me look differently at what I have... 2,200c worth of stuff. Didn't expect that at all
care, level 19 Gems are displayed as lvl 20, which can increase their value bei 2x++
One of the big differences between rich players and not rich players is that the rich ones know how to move their off currency

I downloaded currency cop and it says to run "npm install" to use get started. There is nothing that says npm install. Unsure what to do.
