PT 1. The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan details stories of his relationship with Malcolm X

  • The honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan sat down with Sway for an in-depth, candid and unparalleled conversation about the domestic injustice from our Government towards its citizens, global injustices from our Government, as well as his personal relationship with Brother Malcolm X.
"First of all, Brother Malcolm [X] was my mentor." Farrakhan tells Sway. "I never knew a more disciplined man. I was very fortunate to have him as my teacher. He was the greatest helper of the honorable Elijah Muhammad."
"I would have given my life to protect his life, because of my deep love for Elijah Muhammed and him being his top student."
Unfortunately, there was a time when Brother Malcolm separated from the Nation of Islams due to an aspect of Muhammed's personal life and choice of women.
Farrakhan continues to detail a conversation with Malcolm that sparked this debacle and why his faith was shaken -- which later led to X's separation.
In Part 1 of their sit-down, Farrakhan also clarifies that he had nothing to do with X's untimely assassination and shifts focus on the Government and their never-ending attempt to harm The Nation.
"Today, Louis Farrakhan is the voice that Malcolm was."

The title itself it altogether wrong. In the 7th century Muhammad and his bad came out of Saudi Arabia into Africa with the Koran in one hand and the sword in the other. If you didn't convert you were either killed or taken captive. He converted many of the tribes of Israel to Islam with this method. This is how it spread. Children were tortured, beaten and made to read the Koran and recite it. Any mistakes were costly by punishment. Most of the Israeli black men were castrated, about 90% because they were not allowed to have children while the captive women served as sex slaves for the Arab leaders. There is a statement written in the historical accounts that explains that there has never been such cruelty towards the Africans and Black Jews as that of the Arabs. The transatlantic trade pales in comparison to the Sub Saharan slave trade and treatment, yet many black Americans are totally unaware of this and say their religion is Islam. They now worship and honor the religion that has most destroyed their people. Any and all other historical accounts are outright lies.
Interesting how Farrakhan never takes blacks on this historical journey of truth of our past. To save face of a religion that is not what it is. If Malcolm would have not been killed by these Muslims he would have learned more and probably became a follower of Christ because he cared that much about the truth.

The nation didn't make Malcolm X God made Malcolm X. There's no defending if the Kuran teaches it's ok to have babies with the young ladies of the kingdom. Farrakhan is trying to point a finger at the FBI if the government was involved why is Farrakhan still standing. If the FBI wanted to destroy Malcolm X that would mean that FBI wants the nation destroyed. As we know the nation of Islam still stands. FBI don't give a hoot about Farrakhan cause Farrakhan is on the FBI payroll. Wake up people Farrakhan hasn't done anything for black people. He takes men from jail and have them to sale news papers. How is that helping black people??

Malcolm spoke better than Elijah ever did. More educated, compassionate, assertive, political and influential. Elijah didn’t teach all that. He simply taught him the religion and black empowerment and Malcolm mastered it. Why deny Malcolm of his accomplishments and credit it to Elijah. A teacher inspires you but they don’t accomplish you. If that’s the case all men in the NOI would be Malcolm’s.

Sister with all due respect Malcolm himself gave EM credit for teaching him everything he knew, not Elijah. Just because Malcolm was more articulate does not mean he was "more educated" than his teacher. In fact, THEM's entire reasoning for telling Malcolm not to speak on Kennedy's death was his concern that whites would become violent against innocent women and children, a factor Malcolm himself admitted he did not ponder on. Regardless of whether you accept Min Farrakhan's explanation, I would hope reason and facts override emotionalism.

the nation didn't kill malcolm, 2 of the men who were jailed were innocent and the one who's gun was retrieved expressed he didnt even know those guys. theres a documentary that properly investigated it on netflix. there was a presidential letter explicitly stating malcolm was to be gotten rid of. unfortunately elijah was publicly framed, the minister farrakhan had no knowledge of it (malcolms oldest daughter expressed the false blame). all the evidence pointed to it being the gov't, especially since it took forever for an investigation to even occur after the murder was committed.

@@kingS-sl9wj no brother that is in fact incorrect… the NOI was very much infiltrated by the FBI and that is a well known fact… many members wanted to hurt Malcolm anyway because he was speaking down on Elijah Muhammad and at the end of the day the FOI or NOI or whatever them brothers wanna call their organization is just a cult… and they worship whoever the leader is and that’s where Malcolm was different he no longer looked to another man as a divine leader because he realized all men have flaws and Elijah Muhammad had one of the worst flaws a man could have.. he was a Hypocrite and a deadbeat father.. so far minister Farrakhan has been able to keep his name clean and many of his messages I do appreciate and respect however he is not a divine leader and nor was Elijah Muhammad.. Malcolm was a better man than both in my opinion because Malcolm was willing to go the furthest lengths for us as a people.. he delegated with the african leaders to reunite our broken family and show the world the true meaning of blood is thicker than water no one has ever attempted to make the moves that Malcolm made for our people on a magnitude of that proportion in the history of The USA..THATS WHY THEY KILLED BROTHER MALCOLM the nation of islam and anything that stems from it is truly just a pyramid scheme attached to religious beliefs.. when Malcolm left he took a significant portion of supporters (money) with him.. that’s why the nation helped the fbi do it… “get your hand out my pocket” you think it’s a coincidence that was the distraction it’s not.. the nation came up with the distraction signal.. even some people with Malcolm were people he knew fairly well were actually fbi so they had to have been members.. the nation and the fruit have worked with the enemy to be untouchable in America.. however Farrakhan pissed the hollywood Jews off so he can’t be on tv anymore

@@TimesUhave2BA_radicalintellect brother i understand and am well aware of everything you have said as far as Elijah being blinded by falsehoods, a self proclaimed prophet and the scandalous information behind him, including the women impregnated and connected to him. Malcolm had good reason to separate and he was no doubt not going to denounce his reasons. But it is clearly conveyed through alot of people associated with Elijah Mohammed that he could never issue a death warrant on Malcolm it wasn't their mo and he had real compassion for him to the extent that his son was jealous of Malcolm. There is literally presidential letter stating that he was to be removed and like yousaid there was an infiltration by them. One of the undercover where present and held malcolms dying body when it happened. The nation had bad apples but it can by no means be described as a evil pyramid scheme, they were a very good and powerful force and change would not have happened without them. They were absolutely a threat. The evidence is out there, alot of Malcolms power came from them. The million man March and countless other elements of empowerment. The empowerment and redemptive change if countless prisoners and etc, these are incomparable efforts, religion has been incredibly powerful in helping the community similarly to Martin luther King who used Christianity and the principle of turning the other cheek, the balance of the two approaches worked to make the change.. I completely disagree with you on that one I think your way off base.
Like said though, it wasn't the nation of Islam who killed him due to what he said against Elijah Mohammed since two of the prisoners where proven to not be there when it happened. I think one was released years later. 2 were called Thomas 15X and Norman 3X, the main shooter was Thomas hagen.. hagen was the only one who admitted to it and expressed the other 2 werent even there nor did he know them. On top of that hagen wasn't even a NOI member, all of this he testified. It was no coincidence the other 2 had such names as well, they maintained their innocence and stated they weren't there and the story corroborated with the testimony. ultimately the murderer literally stated years later that he didn't know his supposed co-defendants, and the investigation happened much later than it should have and was closed immediately. There was no due diligence. There were members of the force who admitted their superiors just wanted to close the case as soon as possible to satisfy the outcry.
There is a new documentary on Netflix that rounds up all the information out there and was an in depth analysis with interviews of members who were there at the time. Its on Netflix you should it out. It also shows the documents expressing the clear intention by the government to murder Malcolm not just silence him. It's really good since the guy travels everywhere to gather the pieces and interviews as many of the relevant people to clearer the picture.

He only had an 8th grade education and after Elijah taught him, he became a Giant. Regardless of what you felt about your teacher, why would you try to destroy a movement…”. I actually saw that interview with the daughters of X and how he admitted HE CREATED THE ATMOSPHERE IN WHICH MALCOLM X WOULD BE ASSASSINATED! Sway never called him on the six or seven secretaries he impregnated at the time in which we're not his wives... In the end he like the others ie...

Wow. That's a wide ass you're pulling all of that bullshit from. There were never forced conversions in early Islam and it was very very rare later on. Yes, Islam spread by the sword at some points and it didn't at many other points of times. Early muslims converted with no military power and so did the majority of muslims in Asia and Africa. But even with military power muslims didn't force beliefs on anyone. Islam is a belief, a way of life, and a nation. And just like any nation at the time, it was either conquer or get conquered. The neighboring Persian, and Byzantine empires, just like the pagan Arabs, actually had an explicit intention and set plans to destroy this new religion and its growing force. The pagans actually had many campaigns to completely destroy early muslims. Muslims, although very few in numbers and military power, ruled over all of pagan Arabia, inherited the totality of the Persian empire, and a part of the Byzantine empire (middle east and north Africa) and later the whole of the Byzantine empire. Islam ruled over them just like any other force ruling over people. But no forced conversions or forcing people to read the Quran and such nonsense you're coming up with. Actually Egyptian Christians welcomed muslims as the muslims saved the coptic church from the aggressions of the roman church. And just like most of history, the commoners follow the religion of the victorious. The early muslims victory was swift, tumbled empires, and with little resources, it was almost, no, it was miraculous. And many people converted after that willingly, especially after an age of injustice by empires and false religions. Then came the victorious Islam with a message of justice and mercy. People converted and many didn't and lived to this day to falsify your baseless claim. Almost 15% of Egypt is Christians, almost 25 of greater Syria is Christians. Many jews converted because they had prophesies of a prophet to come. Many didn't and they had what is known in history as the jewish golden age, and that was under Muslim Caliphate.
Islam ruled to bring prosperity and justice to people. Unlike the Christian imperialists. Check india, africa and what happened to native americans after Christian invasion, and the same was true by early Roman Christians. They ruled to rob nations. Now compare that with the wealth and prosperity that India, andalusia, and Africa had when muslims ruled with the book and justice.

We have rules and we know the consequences of breaking rules, which is "time out". Malcolm violated a rule and he is not above consequences. He violated a rule making a insensitive statement concerning the murder of a president. That statement reflects upon the entire nation, since Malcolm was an appointed leader within the Nation. As much as I love Malcolm, Louis was and is a much better LEADER, not influencer. Malcolm X was a student of an institution who did not understand the objective of expansion. He was a student, not a boss. Louis learned from Malcolms mistakes which helped Louis understand the shortcoming of Malcolms endeavors after leaving the nation. Malcolm did not know how to build an organization. That was clear when he stepped away for 2 years and tried with two different entities. It was too late to try to make amends as well with the nation to come back. This is what makes Louis a better candidate as a LEADER.

When black history is talked about there's no mention of the name Elijah Muhammad. Malcolm X was a far greater figure on a global scale thn Elijah Muhammad will ever be and he only lived half the time the latter figure did .
Farrakhan is still adamant on defending Elijah Muhammad's wrong doings in relation to the so called 'legitimate women he was sleeping with'
Firstly , justifying polygamy today by saying there's a surplus of women in comparison to men is ridiculous . Was there a surplus of women in 1965 for him to justify marrying as many as he did ? That's worth checking .
Why wouldn't Elijah Muhammad come out clean and tell his protege (malcolm) about his personal relationships with his own secretaries if what he thought he was doing was true ? This was implausible because he knew an honourable man like Malcolm X would not accept it with his heart . If anything , malcolm X was still ready to defend him for the greater good of the cause .
Malcolm was such an intelligent and charismatic figure . His honesty flowed through as he spoke , his love for his people shined brightly as he stood and he will forever be remembered ...

One thing that must have been unbearable for Malcolm to live with is the fact that Malcolm loved Elijah dearly to the point he would have given his very life for Elijah. However, Malcolm was a man of deep impenetrable conviction and integrity as a minister, husband and a father of six daughters. A man of truth and justice. Imagine Malcolm’s dismay when he found that Elijah, the very man he would have put his own wife and six young impressionable daughters at risk for, was instead manipulating and abusing young impressionable women for his own lustful appetite. Malcolm had six daughters of his own. What righteous man in his right mind would have continued to unquestionably follow a man who was found to be saying one thing in public yet behind closed doors doing something in diametric opposite to what he professed. Malcolm x was a shrewd yet righteous man. After discovering what Elijah was doing it first crushed him yet he realized that Elijah was capable of doing the same thing to his daughters given the right set of circumstances. Malcolm made the decision to continue to distance himself from the Black Muslims and expose Elijah for who and what he was: a mere charlatan with a carnal desire for young girls that he couldn’t control. This is how Elijah’s problem became Malcolm’s problem and Malcolm’s enemies’ solution. As I reflect today, I am not so sure that Malcolm made the right decision. Perhaps Malcolm should have left Elijah to his own devices. Perhaps Malcolm should have continued his activities in the global communities. Our communities have continued to suffer immeasurably as a result of this loss because we will never see the likes of Malcolm X ever again. What we do see instead are hordes of men who have embraced the mindset of the despot corrupting their own communities through the abuse of power bestowed upon them by the universe.

@nigelralphmurphy2852 @minorsnow5306 Yes, he is! One of the definitions of "measured" is to be "deliberate or calculated". In the Nation of Islam, we are taught to think 5 times before we speak. The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan is a Master of the English language, so he wisely chooses the words he uses, so that he will effectively communicate his response. Not a liar or a deceiver, but a man of great influence and consequence that understands the weight and magnitude of his words.

I'm sorry but after listening to this video twice, Malcom X, was the greatest, all I see here is Louis Farrakhan being so slick and diplomatic. Malcom X was and remains the real deal...I feel for him, such a great loss. I see no absolute truth in Louis Farrakhan's words, he sounds like a politician. Malcom X is head and shoulder above these men. RIP Malcom X, the Enigma.

Rest in power also to the memories of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, Malcolm X, and Sister Betty Shabbaz.

There ks a reason WHY People can't shake the situation with Bro Malcolm!!! When it comes to Dignity, Integrity and Character, Bro Malcolm had that! I Highly Respect Bro Louis F.; however, when it comes to what Malcolm stood for, and the disability NOT to condone Elijah Muhammad and Bro Louis openly admitted his Love for Bro Elijah, but didn't express the same for his Mentor...which actually SPEAKS VOLUMES!!! And like it, deny it, or Accept it, but Bro Louis's ABSOLUTE IMPACT has been affected by not only the Dismissal of Bro Elijah with various young women, but admitted "Settling the Climate for the Assassination of Bro Malcolm!! And that, that is the Sad Truth!!
