Great review, I got the Sony xm4 for functionality but I the sound Quality is too punchy and they're too big for my ears, I'm looking for better sound quality and fit, I will definitely do for the B&O EQ thanks to you.
Problem with the B&O is that yes quality is there in sound build quality. But the A&C is horrible. And they are very bulky. They dont fit my ear especially because of the bulk they keep falling out no matter even if you buy foam tips. The battery is fabulous
What a fantastic comprehensive review. Nice length too at under 10 minutes. The consensus appears to be that the EQ are the best sounding earbuds available today. If they just had a 3 to 5 band adjustable equaliser, I'd get them regardless of the high price. P.S. Please do an EQ vs MTW2 comparison.
Thanks mate. I will release some comparisons soon. But EQs are really good in terms of sound. The onboard equliser is a little dfferent. You can not make subtke chnages. But even then I would say its the best souding earbud in the market right now in this price range
I own both, these 2 has pro &con in its own way EQ have better mid and sound stage and ANC and instrument separation PI7 have better high and low EQ sound tone is sweet PI7 sound tone is bright For me EQ is not fit well on my ear and control are suck, not responsive, have to tap twice to play/pause, mode change, and ANC is very wind sensitive, sound lack bass in some track PI7 control is more convenience one tap with responsive My favor in sound is fell on EQ but everything else is kinda bad

I just received my EQ two days ago. I never heard any tws with great sound like them. I think they are the best sounding tws. I have sony, samsung, huawei, jabra, airpods. they are all garbage compare to EQ. I'm sorry, I have to be honest. daily, I listened UERR with zen dac V2 and tidal master. at the office I listened Hifiman Edition X v2. and EQ also suit my taste of sound signature. you will never find a TWS with a big soundstage as big as B&O EQ. sound very detail. no sibilance, no fatique sound. bass really good. not big but tight. best bass ever. other tws always have very heavy boomy big bass (jabra for example, garbage). but, it always depends on your taste of sound. pardon my english.
Really good review thanks! What ear tips do you use for EQs? The comply don't fit me properly in the large but sound fantastic with an awesome soundstage and balanced between all the frequencies so don't want to return them! Any suggestions be so useful if possible , no problem if not :)
I rarely use the comply. The silicone Medium sized ones are the ones that I use daily cause the fit me really well. The EQs are one of the ebst sounding earbuds, it would be a shame if you have to return them.

Great review - expect from two points: 1. In terms of functionality: You can access the voice assistant (only) with the PI7 - not with the EQ which makes the PI7 in my opinion far more versatile. 2. The PI7 are also IP54 rated ;-)
Both are better at bass than the sennheiser in terms of bass. But the separation of layers is better on the M2. Plus the EQ is more accurate than the M2 and the Pi7. Also the soundstage is wider on the EQ and PI7 than the M2

The Soundcore Pro 3 sound like the B&W. In fact they are more configurable and have better quality components. I am biased having sent 3 PI7’s back as they became faulty or arrived faulty. Really not impressed with the internal quality of the B&W. I have PX7’s which I love. The Pro 3’s have a slightly tighter soundstage but sound very similar. The Pro 3’s also have a nicely configurable eq. too.

But LDAC will drop off that number by one third or two thirds during say for example mobile gaming when you need lower bitrates. which is a bit of a jarring experience. However the APTX Adaptive codec will adapt by 10 kbps rather than making 330 kbps jumps. This means APTX adaptive will sound better in those scenarios. So I guess that makes them more versatile than LDAC and as an average user or who is not an audiophile, i think APTX adaptive will serve better

Great Video. Nearly 3yrs ago I decided to keep the Sennheiser Momentum 1’s after trying 15+ top in Ear Buds. I love them. I heard they are better then the 2’s as well in terms of deep Base. Anyways, my Best Buy warranty allows me to use $300 credit to exchange them for a new pair for the GYM. Almost to my question… You covered almost everything in your video, but as always it’s impossible to know which is better unless you have both Brands in front of you. Main purpose for me is to zone out, and as a Vegas Host my hearing has deteriorated so I’m looking for a great quality headphone I don’t have to use a loud volume. (The think all BEATS sound atrocious). Question: Have you Heard about anyone using: “FiiO BTR5-2021 Receiver Bluetooth 5.0 Headphone Amp High Resolution Amplifier” with the ip7’s? I’m hearing that they solve any sound quality issues & turn the ip7 into something just amazing, similar to something only wired headphones can accomplish. And this can only be used with the ip7 not the BEO EQ due to the case. *Do you know any other future uses that the case can be used for? In the end, the BEO EQ are not in front of me and it seems like they would fit better then the ip7, plus the ANC seems better. But with the BTR5, do you think I could get around buying the BEO EQ & just keeping the ip7’s I have in my ear now? The sound control on the BEO EQ is very similar to the Momentum’s tho, ugh. Tough call. The next frustrating part is that the BEO EQ are not available at Best Buy for some reason but the IP7’s are. And having 3/4’s of the cost covered with the ip7’s is also going into this. Or I can wait until April 2023 & continue use with my momentum 1’s until maybe something better is released? Hey mate, sorry for the late reply. i have not personally used the BTR5 to give you an honest opinion. But at 3/4th of the cost, the PI7 is a steal. Plus if you get a BTR5 then regardless of the phone (apple/android) you are using you should be able to get top quality Audio, as you can take advantage of the APTX codec support on the PI7. The main difference between the 2 earbuds for me is in the accuracy. If BTR5s can solve that for the Pi7 then this will be a very good buy. Also, in the next couple of months, rumors are that Apple will release AirPods Pro 2 with support for Lossless audio. So if you have an iPhone then maybe wait and see if that is any better. Because on paper iPhone + Apple AirPods Pro 2 + Apple Music with Lossless Audio should be epic. But there are lots iof "ifs" and "buts" here. But i would be leaning for the PI7 given your discount 😉

yeah thats a fair comment regarding the bass. PI7 is way louder and has a thumpier bass. But since you have both you have the best of both worlds 😃

I tried the B and W but I could not get them to stay in my ears.
I also did not like the fir of the B&W. I got a good fit, but it hurts my ears. The EQ is much better
