I just bought the IP5 for 115€ from Amazon and must really say that I’m gladly surprised. I really like the sound of these and how crystal clear they deliver voices from different genres. My last on the go headphones were the normal Air Pods so this was a huge upgrade. I had never connection or app problems on iPhone. I give them 4/5, for under 150 these are totaly worth it.
@@johnnyirizarry1276 not any problems they fit perfectly in my ears with the middle attachments, you get 3 different pairs like any other in ears included. I could run for my life and they would not fall out.
A note on battery life: I think you should consider more the long-term use. It may be 4.5 hours today (best case) but what will it be a year from now? Especially when paying a premium, I would expect more
Very valid point. I have MW07's right now and at purchase they had ok/sub-par battery life. But now, 3 years later, the earbuds die before I can finish my workout...
thx, I would like to hear more environmental noice from the microphone, to have a better idea of how people will hear me out, from different scenarios, great review, thank you.
Great review. I am still on the fence about purchasing the flagship of the B&W True Wireless line, the PI7s. Virtually every other tech reviewer has rated the Pi7’s sound ( and sound only) to be the best on the market. However, they keep skipping over the shortcomings of the buds, including the battery life and lack of button customization. On the other hand, B&W keeps touting that the PI7s have Dual Hybrid Drive Units with Individual Amplifiers. I really would appreciate the review from a more realistic reviewer about whether or not the sound on the PI7 is that great and worth 400 dollars. Or is this all just paid BS?
I totally agree with u Keith, these buds are high end sound, really good company too, but not for everyone lol. I'm still saving for those Sony's, hopefully I'll get them soon, but I feel kind of guilty for paying that amount for any 1 set of earbud, but I LOVE music too much lol, thanks for another great video though.
Thanks for another great review. I rarely like or subscribe many channels but I’ve found myself watching and enjoying more and more of your videos and now I made it a point to subscribe and like your videos. I think that’s the least I can do for getting such great content for free and I really hope that helps you get compensated for the effort you put into your videos. I’m in the home a/v automation business myself and i refer a lot of my customers to your channel when they have questions about earbuds. So I just wanted to say thanks and your effort is much appreciated!!!
Some give and take with these, but the sound makes up for it. Have the PI5’s that sound very very good, also got the PI7’s this week and they sound phenomenal!
seem rather pathetic, almost useless ambient sound mode, battery life is garbage and will age HORRIBLY, your earbuds will take a shit literally after 1 to 2 years of battery degradation, case isn't that small, sound quality is really weird and switches depending on the modes(anc requires??) and you can tell from his sound quality review that they aren't gamechangers, which they need to be to compete given their price and other pitfalls. The Sony wfxm4's destroy them, and if you want something that's ranked no.1 for sound quality and is its primary focus get sennheiser monemtem tw2's for like 300. These things are shit lmao, how stupid
I purchase the PI7 on 6/24/21. I have a question concerning the case Lid. Does your case Lid lock into place when it is open? Because my lid does not. There is no locking mechanism when you open the lid of the case. I have also seen another youtube reviewer with this issue.
To me I really need volume/ Ambient switches. And I like to be able to tap for an assistant. Even the new Sony's makes you choose between two out of those three which is frustrating. But at least in that case they do have the high integration with Google assistant and notifications.
Dude you give great headphone/earbud reviews man I have a request regarding this review and that is the PI7’s, a lot of ppl are saying the PI7’s are the best sounding true wireless earbuds even better the WFXM4 and the Sennheiser 2 How about a review on the PI7’s? Your awesome at what you do man, keep on, keepin’ on 🤘
I had a set and took them straight back. Very low volume at max compared to my soundsport frees, with probably the worst Bluetooth connection I've ever experienced, constantly dropping with many actions that cause my others no problems. I was very disappointed, as I had high hopes for them. Getting a set of the sonys instead once they are in stores
-Balanced armature driver and dynamic drivers in each ear bud -Way more aptx codec support -Sound transmission using the case -In the app you can see the battery life of the case I have the 7s and the sound quality is sooo much better than the 5s. Still the same lame battery life though.
Excellent review. But sorry, they are too expensive. If I plan to spend more than 200 euro/dollars in a TWS I would go for the Sony. Regards from Madrid Spain!!!
Amongst all the other problems that should not exist in a $200+ pair of TWS... 9:10 is the most disappointing one, honestly I expected those to be a turn dial as well 🤣
Why do these rubber ear tips and also sennheiser earbud tips have that molded rubber line running across the ear tip diameter? I always wondered why some ear tips have that. Is there purpose for this?
I really like the size of these compared to some of the others. But the battery life kills it for me. Maybe they'll take some of your suggestions with the controls that would be cool thanks Gamesky great review. 🤔👍
If the sonys fit and you can handle the anc without pressure headaches...then easily without a doubt the Sonys. Got both..I will say the pi5 feel better in the ears and I prefer the anc with less pressure on the pi5s but sound easily the sonys , features easily the sonys , battery life easily the sonys.
