Love the Husqvarna and this “ basic build “ is most people Whole winter project. That said curious if when working with YZ/WR platform bikes, does the airbox location make it harder to build a rally/Adventure style build?
What was the total bike weight fully fueled with all the mods? And what is the weight bias now front to back? It seems this is a good lightweight option compared to some of the other rally kits.

I was all hot to get one of these for my 701 till I realized how it attaches to the bike.. I'd rather pay more money for a different kit than have all that additional steering weight. Real shame because it really looks good..
1kg of extra weight is a lot? Personally I rode this kit even on motocross track and closed all jumps as I feel less weight on the front end than the full towers that attach to the frame cos then your instruments are so much more forward that you actually feel The front end heavier than this setup
@@secondarymachine7521 last week did an entire 3 day rally with it and really enjoyed it, if I get the chance will try make a video ripping on the motocross track and doing jumps to show that it’s all placebo effect. I am planning to run this setup at Dakar as it really feels nice

Like the simple/minimalist build. Nice. If I end up doing a tower on my 701 this would be the one.
Surely money is better spent on suspension . Giving this bike full travel like smaller enduro bikes is a massive improvement.
