    Constantly in tears of laughter with every one of your Vlogs Courtney. From where I'm sitting there is always at least one ray of sunshine throughout the entirety of your Vlogs. Then there is your talent behind that camera, just unbelievable. Only found your channel less than a week ago and can't get enough of it. You have to be the most entertaining and talented landscape photographer of your generation, if not all generations. Why you only have 14 point something subscribers I will never know, come on people subscribe. This young lady is brilliantly outstanding, you will not be disappointed. Here's to you Courtney🍻

    I really enjoyed the video, Courtney! Not only was it very humorous but you provided some good insight into your thought processes which I really liked. I think your perseverance really paid off because your photos were excellent. I look forward to seeing more of your videos.

      Thank you very much for watching and commenting! I'm glad sticking out the rain payed off in the end. I may have gone home looking somewhat dishevelled but a clear day would have been far too easy haha! Hoping the rain doesn't follow me to my next location! Have a great day!

    Great video Courtney. It’s always worth going another time and I agree sunrise would be good. I could imagine that lower hillside covered in mist or fog would look great too as an image. Haha, when in doubt just dance, perfect. Thanks for sharing the video enjoyed watching 👍🙏

      I agree, it will be breathtaking in the right conditions. Looking forward to Autumn here when we start getting morning mist and fog. Thank you for watching, really appreciated!

    Hi Courtney, the hill in your pictures is called Small Pox Hill, and for the reasons inferred by the name. Lots of history to it. I live in Uley and enjoyed your vlog 👍

    3:07 That tree has potential. Misty background, shoot from the ground with the camera level. I would do it in black and white.

    Chanced upon your channel just now... interesting - subbed. The hillock reminded me a little of Colmers... maybe them trees might look good in winter without leaves? all th ebest Alan

      Thank you very much. Appreciated. I agree, it could be quite spectacular up there during Winter, too. I think it's a spot I will visit throughout the year to see how it changes with the seasons. A lot of potential there.

    Really enjoying this channel! You should have way more subscribers. I am a recreational photog, currently out of commission recovering from surgery. Hope to be out hiking/snapping again soon! Getting some good ideas from your posts, 😉

      Thank you for watching! Yes, I was out of the UK for only 4 years but it's amazing how you easily adapt to a different place. I haven't experienced too much reverse culture shock but the pandemic has probably prevented that. Take care!

    Discovered you via twitter yesterday and so glad I did. These dance moves were epic and the pictures were pretty good too😂 Are you by any chance, a rain magnet?

    • @CourtneyVictoria
      @CourtneyVictoria  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much for checking out my channel! Thank you haha. Well, the rain magnet idea is entirely possible at this point 😂 We've got a heatwave now so if I get caught in rain this week then something is definitely up! 😂

      @@CourtneyVictoria Yeah even up here in Yorkshire it's a horrible temperature. It was bad enough that I tweeted at the sun a couple of days ago 🖖😁

    Stop with the dance! it's the same dance that ancient Indians did in order to bring the rain! Just kidding! enjoy! no matter the weather you still manage to get some amazing photos!

    • @CourtneyVictoria
      @CourtneyVictoria  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha! That's it then! I've been unknowingly dancing the rain into existence ha! Thank you, I'm glad you think so! I try not to go to locations with specific ideas in mind of what I want to capture as it always turns out quite different!

      @@CourtneyVictoria Well I tried about a month ago to capture some "Typical swallows
      " (first time checked the name of that bird on English, wow!) we travelled with a friend in a crowded city center but under some roof there was a nest and those birds were all around, standing still and pretty close. so about 2 days later I came back with the camera and a specific lens, but they were all gone!! totally disappointed I took a stroll to a somewhat nearby river, took some random photos, and than noticed a Pied kingfisher
      , I recently learned how they fly and when they hunt in that area by watching them, so I thought let's see what I can do... though my lens wasn't the best for taking their photos... I still managed to take some nice 4k slow motion videos of them diving to the river and flying away with some fish (or without)
      So sometimes, we might plan for something else... but sometimes it can still workout I guess, and even if not... just have fun as much as you can!
