- Yep, this is real too. Among Us Is getting an animated tv series. Not being given any kind of platform, or even a release date this looks to be pretty early days, and pretty simple animation too. If you ask me, it doesn't even look all that different from the typical TH-cam animations on the topic. But nonetheless, the idea of a whodunnit series with a dwindling cast set on the background of a game with so many assets and references to pull from sounds like a fun idea... if there was actually a mystery to it. As from watching this trailer a whole TWO times, I feel like I can come to the conclusion of who the killer imposter is, from looking ONLY at the colors and the cast. Celebrity-casted they may be, but now even Ashley Johnson or Elijah Wood can fix the potential blip of a memey series, years past it's expiry date. I have a theory that we already know it all. Yall realise how these shows work, right? It's never the obvious answer. The trailer will NOT help you, because the more obvious the trailer makes someone be, it means that person ain't gonna be the murderer! Like, it's always the one you don't expect, it's always the characters in the backgroun and you CAN'T figure a twist that's revolve around a more obvious fake twist based on a trailer.
That's like trying to figure out a twist joke with the set-up. The point of a twist joke is not being predictable with the given set-up!
Plus they added like 6 more colors so what's the point. I still liked the video btw.

I don't know why no one else has mentioned Pink being missing. It's weird, but I'm sure there's an explanation. That final shot is probably just for the opening, and not actually a scene in the show.

I don't think that the trailer is telling us that pink is the imposter but rather, its just the trailer teasing the imposter's existence. Also they did add more colors too the game which shows that their are actually 7 crewmates missing.
I think pink could’ve just died first which could be why they’re kind of a non character in the trailer.

I don’t think that there is a 12th crewmate/imposter, I think the Scene with the 11 characters and imposter was just for the trailer and the imposter is one of the 12 colors

Its entirely possible that Pink (the 12th crewmember) is the first death and therefore missing from 99% of the show, so not shown in trailers
the one not included could just be the first one dead so what would be the point

I get that leaving one color out of the original 12 colors seems like that the show already spoiled itself, but If you have been paying attention to the game's updates, they added 6 more colors being Banana, Maroon, Grey, Tan, Coral, and Rose. Also their is a shapeshifter ability in the game that makes the imposter change into different people for a limited time, so if they played with that role in the show, then it could possibly get interesting. (Depends on how they could write it) The point I'm trying to make is that I don't think the movie spoiled the imposter because of the colors but I think that the imposter silhouette is just the trailer teasing who the imposter is. Logically you would need a first dead character and I doubt this animation would kill off one of the main crew at the very beginning. It seems more likely that the first victim will be that missing character so we can get to know the the other 11
I think they’ll be more than 1 Imposter since most people play with 2 imposters with 12 players so while one is obvious there’s still the second one we don’t know.
Honestly kinda fitting since that’s often how Among Us game goes with one obvious Imposter and one not obvious one

I'm going to go with the last shot's similarity to The Last Supper and say that Orange is the impostor. Also, games of Among Us often have two impostors, so I'm guessing the missing Pink will be an impostor that's voted out early on while Orange stays around for longer and sows discord among the group.

Actually we have somewhat of an idea where this show will be streamed, as many people suspect that the show will be aired in places like Netflix, which isn't a bad idea since Netflix already has a pretty good amount of subscribers. It's just speculation but I'm pretty confident that it'll air on Netflix (which would be great for me because I'm somewhat of an Among Us fan) and that Innersloth somewhat hinted that it would be on Netflix. I guess all we have to do is wait for the full trailer for the show...

Personally I would have really liked a among us animated show being more like a sci-fi horror, but alas it is a franchise that has a fanbase of children so its never gonna happen

Theres already a few odd choices; like id expect the imposter to be different every episode and each episode being either a murder mystery, thriller, horror, and even comedic themes depending on the color that is the imposter. Occasionally giving the Imposter front stage as the main character for an episode. Theres alot of ideas that could result in an entertaining 1 or 2 season show.

im 21 now, i played among us for a couple months when it was popular then stopped and changed my regular co-op game.
i think the show looks cute and the animation is simple but done right im happy were getting this

if the show were to get a second season, then the new colors would most likely show up there and not in the one were getting right now

What if it's a different imposter and scenario every episode? Or what if this is merely the opening meant to showcase the established characteristics of each crewmates without being indicative of any particular plot elements?
I suspect Green the Intern will be the impostor, why? Because they're played by Elijah Woods, and he's surprinsingly good at playing creeps
Who knows, maybe it's gonna be like: It's all just one game per season with one or two imposters
Or maybe it's like this: Every Episode is one game with different Imposters and new seasons maybe just add new roles to the series...
Friendly reminder that they're are typically 2 imposters in the game when playing with a full lobby. So even if we know one is the imposter then that just means that one of the 11 is a imposter as well with the obvious one just being a red herring to a good chunk of the murders. We've all seen prior mystery movies like The Thing and Clue with the reveal being there but too late for most because a clue was overlooked.
How does it spoil the imposter. Sure it gives clues but it could be red herrings.

So umm here's my theory.
Pink isn't shown in the trailer so maybe pink dies off in the first episode so that the crew can find out that there's an impostor among them (because in the trailer they know there's an impostor and they put up the we're not dead banner).
Or if pink is actually in fact the impostor, then another impostor must be hiding in the crew as most people play in 2 impostor lobbies.
Maybe more colours will be introduced if it gets more seasons

In the newer updates of among us there are 15 colors
Am hoping to get roles, maybe in the finale, the Guardian Angel could protect the Impostor's second to last victim, and the Impostor is caught and ejected from the ship! It also would be neat to see roles like the Engineer and Tracker too, maybe even a Noisemaker! It would honestly be really interesting to see how much more chaos (as if there wasn't enough in the base game) there would/could be with the 2021 and 2024 Roles updates!

if this show IS actually just in it's early days, more characters with different roles and maybe places they travel to, could be revealed as we get closer to the release date. Also, the animation could potentially improve over time.

Watching rodamix's series does kinda makes me have higher standards for this official among us series. Not only that I love among us and just hope that this series turns out at least decent
Pink probably isn't even in the show I think. Innersloth never leaked a voice actor for pink and we can also infer that they're either messing with us or someone else is the impostor and they're still messing with us. I mean they literally released long mode and horse mode

pink probably wasn't added in the first place because the colour might have been too similar to red or they simply just didn't want 12 crewmembers on the skeld.
plus, if there was a 12th crewmember (pink) innersloth would have said who was casted as pink on the website AND they likely would have shown 12 V/As instead of 11 at the end of the trailer

I'm guessing if it was put on any streaming service, it'd be put on Paramount+, because CBS is owned by Paramount Global, which also owns Paramount Pictures. Nickelodeon, MTV, Commedy Central and more..
