Great price on burger! You can stretch it
Very true! Hugs, Kim
Excellent ideas- and I love your calendar 😊
Thanks so much! 😊 Hugs, Kim
If you have a dollar tree store they have all the pantry staples you got for $1.25 each. I constantly use them as they are next door to our local Walmart
$22 forthe meat is not a bad price. Considering just how far you can stretch it by making meatballs, adding lentils or beans to half a pound of hamburger in Spaghetti Sauce etc.
And, the pantry items will certainly last over several months so even though you went " over" by $3, in the long run you really didnt.
Example : the Banana Peppers - if they were priced at $3.52 and used within 6 months they would only cost $.59 / month.
I do t know if y’all will like this, but I do mostly plant based and my husband will tolerate a meal or two without meat. But, what about a squash casserole? He likes it and will eat it no problem.
Where I live I would have payed double on what you got.No tax on food here though.Im in Canada.
this is how people should budget their food. I know a lot of people who have very little in food benefits, yet somehow, they seem to get take out, pizza, etc. I don't get it. it is where your priorities need to be. :)
Nice haul!! Can’t believe how cheap your chopped meat is per pound. Can’t find under 6.99. Terrible that MS charges sales tax on food. Love your handwriting!
Thank you so much! Hugs, Kim
U sound out of breath speaking. I eat 2x a day; 8 hrs between meals. I spend $15 wk on groc. Mostly non starchy veggies 3 oz meat protein. Drink lots of water & herbal tea. 1 cup coff in a.m. I portion control my meals cuz im 76. I wont b buying food in jun. I need to finish what I have. No menu planning. Nice to see that u do. Salt/pepper & creole seasoning that is all i use. I buy my veggies on sale, in bulk & freeze them in freezer bags. So i dont really groc shop often. My $15 week groc is avg out on what i purchase.
I tend to talk fast when I'm recording--it's a bad habit. Thanks for watching! Hugs, Kim
When I talk a lot more than what I typically do.. especially to another person.. I for some reason get so out of breath I have to try to keep it normal because I sound crazy 😅
She may have asthma or as I do a narrowing g of the throat which c assessment me to wheeze. It certainly has no effect on the quality of her video and the information she has to impart .
Out of breathe isn't always a weight issue I get out of breathe due to asthma.
We have sales tax on our food in Louisiana also. Texas doesn't but I'm not sure where else doesn't tax food.
I think there are several states that don't tax food--it would be nice if my state didn't, but I'm not holding my breath! Hugs, Kim
We have tax on water in Seattle Washington and everything else, and our tax is 10.3 %
Food should not be taxed.
I do t know if y’all will like this, but I do mostly plant based and my husband will tolerate a meal or two without meat. But, what about a squash casserole? He likes it and will eat it no problem.
Great ideas, Donna! Hugs, Kim
