Let's be real for a moment, Dio isn't really as evil as most say he is. His mother died because of his father and Dio hated his father for such. I mean I would try to rid myself of the past, too. I might not have went to the lengths of destroying a bloodline, but Dio did. I wouldn't say that makes him a bad guy, but that he just Goes to extreme lengths to achieve peace of mind. I truly can see Dio having living a quiet life with his subjects if he had managed to kill off the Joestar bloodline. This could be one of my complexes talking, but I genuinely respect Dio and I believe he deserves such respect. He had a tough life and it wasn't very long in terms of having humanity.
I almost squealed when I saw this in my feed! DIO is surprisingly sweet when he’s not trying to kill you. The part about DIO’s scar both comforted and unnerved me. Great job man. Hopefully someone commissions you to do Jonathan (as I’m unable to at the moment), so we can hear how you’ll do him!
In the past I was a different person. I was ignorant and young and trouble always seemed to find me. I argued with dumb people and wasted my time. It's be a long time since then and I still haven't gotten over my past. No matter how many times I try to move on in pulled back into it. That's when I realized that trying to forget my past isn't going to help. I've had to face myself and my own mistakes to truly grow. I've made a lot of mistakes and I'm not afraid to say it. Don't let your past be your future. Grow from your mistakes and be a better person. That's what I think anyway.

These Gentle moments with DIO, to me, only solidify how terrifying he really is because it most definitely is reminiscent of how someone far more Insidious than just your average Abuser and manipulator does things. See, with Abuse or any chain Abusers, in a relationship, there's something of a "Honeymoon phase" which can last for varying lengths of time and it is the time when the Abuser seems to play nice while also sinking their claws into the Victimized as deeply as they can go. Their actions will seem nothing short of wonderful, caring and 100 percent devoted to their Victim in various ways that only endear their abuser to them even further while also Establishing the Abuser as the most fundamental And Strongest pillar of support in their lives (Which I don't need to explain why that's so dangerous.) On a Small Scale, Household Abusers like a Spouse or Parental Figures can do this. On a Larger scale, the Charisma and Extreme "caring for your future" attitude is easily reminiscent of a Cult Leader, which IMO fits DIO to a T. His followers, Save ones Like Polnareff and Kakyoin when they were under the control of Flesh buds, seem to nearly worship him to a nearly Fanatical extent and that is more than likely BECAUSE of little talks like these. Some of his more devoted and most extremely useful associates like Pucci possibly received the most one on one attention from DIO and therefore became the perfect subjects, pawns and even partners for him and whatever means he saw fit. Tragically also... They would never see just how monstrous DIO truly was. Because A- They were so "close" to him and B- They likely never got the chance to fail him to the point that he would shatter his own Illusion of Absolute Perfection to them and the Cruel, terrible and Evil side to him that we're all aware of would show. THAT'S what's dangerous about DIO. He's the Perfect Abuser and absolutely knows that he is... It also doesn't help that he's hot as hell. 😅😂 (Sorry for the little Small Story. These videos actually help me write DIO and his personality better and thus I actually appreciate these greatly. Keep it up please!!!)

Dang. I really appreciate the characterization of DIO in your asmr series. I've only seen a couple of episodes of Jojo, yet the way DIO talks to the listener makes it feel more than that. There's a certain amount of emotional intimacy he puts into his words and actions like they were carefully thought out hours before. Never really thought I would watch DIO asmr, but I greatly enjoyed this.

This really made my day, especially since o have a lot of mental trauma and I have recently had my relative go into a hospital, as well as my own father move 6 hours away, where I may never see him again since I have no idea where he lives, just hearing Dio tell me how I have the ability to overcome the past and move on really has helped me today.
