This seems to be a common problem with this interface. I have one with the same symptoms. I think my sister unplugged/plugged the a condenser mic with the 48V phantom power switched on. Awesome video, very interesting!
Hi, can you please help me find spare part description or part numbers for the UR22 headphone port and the „coil“ that is located right above it on the pcb? My kid broke both parts when letting the device Fall off the table with a headphone jack plugged in... 🤦🏻♂️ Glad, that you made this video. Steinberg Support does not answer my ticket... Thank you
@@BMRStudio looks like someone connected the guitar amplifier speaker output to the interface. "oh look, both have jack in/outs, lets record this way" :D
Sir, my Steinberg audio interface is not working, I have two sound card, one purchase earlier another later with the same issues. it show the signal but when I record it sound nothing but noise like hissssss, suuuuuuu..I barely can hear my recorded sounds... I tried in many laptops to clear my doubt but the results are same only... I couldn't figure out what is exact problem with interface... Kindly help me out plz🙏🙏🙏
Hi! I have got this interface too and today I dropped it. It still works standalone, but it won't work on my computer anymore. Do you know, what I should be looking for when I open it up? Or could it be that the cable won't transfer the data anymore, only the electricity? I hope you will respond! :)
Hey, i got a problem with my Steinberg UR 22 MK2. Everything works fine, but the only problem I have is that when I connect my DT770 pro, i only get a mono Signal Output. I updated drivers to the newest, the mix is completely on DAW (right side) but it stays mono. When I plug my Headphones directly to my pc i got a stereo signal and everything works fine. The adapter I use to plug it into the Steinberg is the one that came with the headphones and its new. I cant find a answer so i hope you might help me out before i give it back and buy a new one
it's been the first time that i solved the problem for myself, and after it i found the solution )) cuz i wasn't search in eng in tearms of native ukrainian
Hi, at 5:53 you inspect a ur22mkii(what I have). Unfortunately I was careless and dropped it one to many times and the digital side is compromised(will not synch up with laptop but has voltage to the device). I have done some troubleshooting(of many, many things), but this seems overwhelming. Any tips on how to go about it? Not the cable I already checked that!.
Check the power supply area. There is many small ceramic capacitors, and may one is cracked. Try to find the "power on good line" which is going to the small CPU reset circuit. look for the 3.3 and 1.8 V rails!
Hello, my UR22 sound card does not have a correct speaker output. The sound is reproduced without low, middle frequencies, only a high spectrum. Could there be a problem with CS4270?
Sir there please help me out... My ur44 interface 2nd input is not working producing distorted noise when contact with microphone... Please help....... There's an IC named H119G which is short when checked... Please help or ucan provide me that IC
Hi there I was wondering if you can please help me. Im having a little difficulties with my Yamaha UR mkii the second input is making a lot of noise when I try to record with my guitar. Any advice will be very helpful.
@@BMRStudio Yes, all good with the guitar. I use a Fender Strat with an Fender Sidekick Reverb amp, also the first input on the Yamaha UR mkii is ok. Only the second input has this problem, as an example when i plug my guitar on the second input, the guitar output is really low and the white noise is really high. Maybe it has something to do with the hardware?

uninstall all Steinberg drivers, and reinstall the new ones from their website. Win 11 has some issue with UR22 since last November updates....
