It is a classic rock and roll beat, and his band is what Rock and Roll was in the 1950's. I've never heard this version of Saints... wow! What a showman he is. Who else can walk a grand piano across the stage like that. Thanks for this. Ed

Charlie Wise yeah he knew what he was comfortable playing in. As a piano player I can’t understand why anyone would want to do R&B or anything other than a ballad in Bb or Ab or Db. His sax players were his true strength.
