JF-17's main selling points are its affordability & maintenance cost. It's a platform with AESA radars and long range BVR missiles, Anti-ship missiles, air to ground missiles and HOBS missiles at 1/3rd the cost of other aircrafts with same feature-sets. The Jeff block-3 has everything which Tejas has to offer with lower over all cost. Note that newer advance version of Tejas hasn't rolled out yet. The one in service should be compared with the latest of JF-17 block in service. And again the cost of upcoming version would be atleast twice of JF-17. JF-17 is perfect for Pakistan and its threat matrix. PAF already has inducted 165+ JF-17s. A combination of J-10Cs, F-16s & JF-17s provide good air-defense and strike capabilities.
what are the factors you are comparing and saying that it's somewhat affordable and have low maintainance cost.how can you say that? i accept the truth that plane is affordable but there's a catch. there is reliability issue with the plane as engines are either russian origin or chinese and they can never compete with more reliable engines of west.if you have inducted a plane that have 50%-60% reliable how can you say these words..and for block-1 it's price was less..if you compare the price with jf17-block 3 version then you will get to know that price is somewhat comparable with other planes of modern fighters.don't get carried away looking at price of jf17 block 1. but to keep in mind that jf17 had upper edge on tejas when it comes to bvr missiles as of now. jf17 has already inducted pl12 missiles somewhat range around 100-120 km while tejas with derby has range around 70-80km as of now. tejas still don't flying with full potential as astra bvr mark 2 is still to be fired from tejas.
The affordability is only wrt acquisition cost and not wrt maintenance cos it seems to require a lot of maintenance given it has an all metal airframe, Russian engine and Chinese manufacturing quality Further, the block 1 & 2 do not have AESA radar, no in flight refueling, only 2d fly by wire, lower thurst weight ratio, poor electronic capabilities and no American/western weapons Even the block 3 retains the same Russian rd93 based engines, uses cheaper air cooled AESA radar and same metal body and build quality There is a reason why western fighter aircrafts are costly. PAF might have wanted to compromise on the associated quality to fill up its numbers and use f16s for the real thing but then you have to understand that these jf17s are made only to fill up the numbers and maybe start some local aircraft assembly, but nothing more than that
@@goodputin4324 It does. the block III version has AESA radar and its established fact. Its advised always do your fact checking before rushing to write a comment.
@@vm8136 That's an illogical assessment that an airforce inducted a long visioned and planned aircraft just for showcase and not the "real" thing. I suggest you to put aside the bias and look at the facts. JF-17 was the primary fighter in most numbers in PAF's swift retort in 2019. PAF used total of 25 aircrafts in that operation and could have used ALL of F-16s but JF-17s were used in more numbers because airforce had the confidence to take it to hostile airspace. I wonder how come you shoot the statement saying "poor electronic capabilities". The fact is JF-17 block 1 & 2 have electronic capabilities comparable to F-16 block 52s. Even the western commentators agree that chinese electronic capability has surpassed Russians many years ago. Google this "Why China's Latest Jets Are Surpassing Russia's Top Fighters" you will find a nice article to enlighten yourself. There is a reason why Chinese had stripped off their Flankers and all J-15s, J-16s from russian radars or EW components. We all know how advance china have gone even in commercial tech like 5g, only country to have its own space station, AI etc. It will be naive to think that there most focused area which is military & defense would have sub-standard equipment. You passed lot of false statements like about in-flight refueling. JF-17s block II (which are most in numbers) all have in-air fueling and there's tons of videos and photos for that on internet already. The aircraft is design to have a longer life and lower maintenance cost. Its upto you if pay heed to propaganda blogs for total bs stories with no ground, no source, no photo evidence OR go with official records. The aircraft was designed at first place to fullfill needs of the PAF and cater for Pakistan's threat matrix. It was designed & developed especially knowing that PAF may not get any western aircrafts due to sanctions, so it had to get the top capabilities in it with modular design. Lastly, about some "assembly capabilities". PAC Kamra has an entire aviation city, even the radars (ofcourse chinese ToT) are being developed locally. So its not "some". Its quite a lot manufacturing capability is achieved. The next decade will forsure see its successor. All being said, I am no where comparing anything with india. India is already much ahead in localization and manufacturing overall.
The statement that many analysts make, "JF17 is not a success for West and its allies but it's a big achievement for Pakistan !" ....... is laughable in its own sense, I mean its like someone made his dream home in a town and someone says that this house is not an achievement for town people but a big achievement for its owner ! 🤡😁🤣 pffff .... duh ....... JF17 was made by Pakistan (& China assisted) as per her needs, a low cost, reliable and multirole 4.5 gen fighter jet. JF17 was developed to fulfil requirements of PAF not of USAF, Europe or other big players.
JF-17 will keep undergo improvement to increase its capability. I am sure this aircraft will still be relevant long after J-20 retire. Similar to F-16 outlasting F-22.
@@mth469False, China actually needs more heavy weight fighters according to it's needs and the JF-17 (or FC-1) is not sufficient enough for the role since it is obviously a light weight fighter
@@Editorwithchai PLAAF does not want FC-1 due to its (a) limited performance and on top of that (b) its quality issues. The (a) was already a factor even while the plane was being designed (prior to production) with the PLAAF committing to no purchases of this plane. Ironically, even Pakistan (its main customer) was reluctant to buy this plane and was looking for 2nd hand Mirages 2000s and F-16 which it could not get. The (b) added to that after the plane was built not just with core design issues but quality of production issues as well. Making a high tech, high agility, low cost, multi-role, single engine, 4+ and 5th gen fighter is the hardest thing in military aviation.
thanks for showing courage to speak true facts. JF 17 is a good fighter and Pakistani operates around 150+ jefs. and Block 3 is a beast and in future block 4 will change everything even the look of JF 17 will be completely different from block 3. ♥️🇵🇰♥️
@atharvvaidya7879 did i mentioned india in my comment and you indians will always pop whenever there's Pakistan in the topic just stick with your country.
I think Pakistan should use JF-17 as its aero acrobatic team. Currently only China, Russia and USA use fighter jets as their aero acrobatic team planes.
While there have been some crashes in the past it is yet to be termed the widowmaker bison by a large margin. Hopefully it will serve tea to the forthcoming enemy in the future as well.
@@SnowLeopard2121 stuff like that unfortunately happens a lot more than you think. Just recently a mig23 crashed in upper USA. Crashes in air shows are bound to happen but the best thing we could do is learn from it.
it is mostly the internet community from India and Pakistan that declare the failure or success of JF-17 program. almost all of them have little to no experience in the matter and the source of their arguments is only based on what they find favorable on the internet to support their PoV which is normally called confirmation bias. the Jet fulfils the requirements of Pakistani airforce and has become a workhorse for the PAF helping greatly the workload of F-16s which are PAF's top tier fighter jet. the Jet is way better than any other jet bar F-16 in PAF arsenal and in that sense alone it is a success story for PAF. what it does internationally in terms of sales exports vs other Soviet, Chinese and Western jets is a completely different matter. that is the league of the very big powerful boys, it has no chance regardless of its capabilities. And yes, I am also one of the nameless airmchair TH-cam expert. so take my "analysis" as it suits you.
In terms of sales exports, the drawback is that the customer ends up buying from China, not Pakistan, as many components and weapons are Chinese. And many are not keen to put their air asset in the hands of the Chinese, one of the Big Boys, who can ground the aircraft if they wish.
In fact, almost all the comments of the internet community are founded in what they're feeling, if they love US or Russia, or China, etc. Actually there are contries in Africa that allready have signed for this aircraft.
Its not a good or bad fighter jet. For that price its give a good package but it have alot of issues. That why Pakistan is planning to replace it with another jf or hoping for f16 and also Myanmar declare that jet as a problematic machine. This jf17 is beautiful and i wish they upgrade it to match 4.5 gen.
Any merits of the JF-17 is counter balanced by the Poltical and military ambitions of the primary supplier, China. The Chinese military needs more access to the world. Using business deals such exporting military hardware is one easy way to get Chinese military personnel on foreign soil. Can any future global customer prevent imposed idiology if an acceptable business relationship is created? If the JF-17 program was created for reginal defence then celebrate the achievments of having a domestic defense industry. However, does exporting this creation come with a price that no longer involves currency?🎉
I think that is the $64,000 US Dollar question! If it was Malaysia, then I would say possible. But then Turkiye needs support for an engine - May be Chinese via Pakistan!
@@miguelsramon4702 and the plane is now grounded in myanmar, nigeria and pakistan itself due to safety and reliability issues. China's PLAAF refuses to buy the plane.
The truely amazing parts of this project are the geopolitical twists through many historical events and unbelievable persistence of both sides that finally gave birth to a very competent aircraft. US company Gruman played a crutial part in the dev. What almost killed this project was not Tiananmen Square but rather the nuclear tests. And this project went from initially motivated by Sino-US honeymoon and Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, to the collapse of Soviet Union and US pulling plugs on all Chinese projects and then Russia coming in as supplier. User requirements had changed numerous times through the dev cycle. Consider this is essentially a Mig-21 based fighter it feels almost unreal. There is a very long series about the history of this jet in a very tiny Chinese YT channel, with huge amount of details. TBH I was shocked to learn the about-face US made as soon as the Soviets pulled out of Afghanistan.
Remember the mentality of the time. An ailing Brezhnev sent the Soviets into Afghanistan. Their largest troop deployment since World War II. Iran was in turmoil. The Americans were obsessed with preventing the Soviets access to warm water ports. Once it became clear that the Soviets had their own Vietnam to deal with, the Americans stopped worrying about it. For what it’s worth, the failure of the Soviets to subdue/pacify Afghanistan should have been enough to prevent the West to go in there. Billions spent and thousands killed for nothing.
It deserves more success than it has, not everybody can afford or want the political issues that come with the F-16 or unreliability currently of Russian supply. China should be pushing this more to South America and African nations.
India didn’t deny the loss of their MiG21. IAF pilot was captured & the MiG came down in Pakistan territory. In addition, Isreal is a also Pakistan’s enemy & India has every intention to occupy Pakistan but after Feb 2019, they realised they had no chance of victory
@@atomic_s0n1 Kashmir, Haydrabad & Goa were NEVER part of India. Haydrabad was an independent state until India sent her tanks in & occupied it. It did the same to Goa and to Kashmir, including South Tibet, Galvan & Doklam. India occupation of 1/2 of Kashmir didn’t last long when the newly formed army of Pakistan liberated it in a war from 1947 - 1948; and another war in 1965. Part of Chinese Kashmir was also liberated in the 1965 war and conceded to China… so question of ‘Kashmir back’ doesn’t arise. Further, the Kashmiri people don’t want to be part of India and 98% want to be part of Pakistan. The 2% are those that have been embedded in Indian Occupied Kashmir by India. As for the the Chinese territory occupied by India, it was liberated in 2019 and China now sits on 2,000 Sq Km of liberated Chinese territory and they achieved this without firing a single bullet… So from this, you can see how strong India really is! Western parts of Pakistan like Sialkot… these areas were part of Ottoman Empire.
From a project management and implementation perspective, it is quite successful. Pakistan got the help from China (airframe) and Russia (engine) to produce an integrate its own fighter plane, it got a real BVR-combat capability, it also got a relatively cheap/affordable plane to replace the Mirage III/5 and F-7P/PG in good numbers. In terms of performance, it's not an F-16-series plane, its basically a reinvented F-20A 'Tigershark' but the 'Tigershark' seems more agile. I suspect that the JF-17 isn't really full option for Pakistan, the J-10CE is basically to fire the PL-15 at longer ranges than the JF-17 can and replace the and the JF-17 is a cheap replacement for older aircraft.
In terms of performance, the JF-17 isn't really up there. It's less agile than an F-16 or even F-20A, it's probably less agile than the Indian Tejas (which isn't really in production) but it's a leap over the Mirage III/5 and F-7P and possibly F-7PG. The best to describe it is like, "You just upgraded from Windows 95 to Windows 7 at a time when everybody just moving from Windows 10 to Windows 11" so it's a bit of as false upgrade but it was cheap and really improves on what you had.
We have been told for as far as I can remember that PAF has no answer to IAF,s Su-30s but on 27Feb2019 it proved to be entirely wrong. Now again we are hearing from out indian friends that JF-17 thunder is substandard to the modern warfare. I have reached on conclusion that Indians can never have an objective analysis of anything related to Pakistan because of their bias due to historical and political reasons and their opinions dont mean anything
kinetically it's fairly mediocre(block 1 at least). It's way slower than the F-16 at literally every altitude, which makes it an underdog in the air to air role. It is however highly maneuverable. One of the best things about the JF-17 is its human computer interface. The ease of use of systems, start up, and employment of weapons is probably on of the best in the world. It's large screens also offer an advantage over other older fighters, like their F-16s. That and ofc its price, being that it is one of if not the cheapest brand new multi role fighters you can get.
it's mostly strike fighter with self escort capability or interceptor against strike aircraft, it is not air superiority fighter and should avoid direct fight with those
İ don't care what people say. İt's a good decent fighter and Pakistan did a good job with China where both are imposed to sanctions for spesific technologies. And that it has export success tells the truth because a military equipment is only good when it is exported due to the evaluation tests being made from the customers. They are the real refrees and it's rival Tejas has not been selected by any nation except İndia itself so far where as JF-17 has been.
Tejas is a confused plane if it was ever meant for export . Still tejas helped india in developing technologies in electronics and aviation which is being used by pvt sector so overall it was a good investment as for procurement india will operate 200 units of that plane minimum. And technologically it's somewhere between jf 17 and gripen

It has seen around 4 combat sorties that we know if. 1) in 2011, it shot down an Iranian drone on night time with an aim-9. 2) on feb 27 air skirmish , the Jeff dropped bombs on Indian targets across the line of control and provided CAP along with f16s. 3) Nigeria has used the aircraft to bomb terrorists. 4) Myanmar used it to bomb human trackers in India near the border (which both countries agreed on).
I don't understand why people call it failure when it has 300 km range BVR missile PL-15, It also has 2 aircraft carrier killer missiles C-802 and it can sink 2 aircraft carriers in one sortie. Because composite materials have been used in it, therefore S-400 cannot track it and JF-17 can destroy S-400 with its hypersonic missile CM-400 AKG And if you are considering my words as nonsense then you can watch Pakistani Defense Channel for proof
china is not buying the plane. it has offered it practically for free to other countries. but most refuse it. myanmar, nigeria and pakistan which did take it have grounded the fleet.
I heard somewhere - that the JF-17 is an extensive reimagining of the Mig-21. What you would get if you were doing it again, and could change whatever you liked. But that its core DNA still stems from the Mig 21... ...except in all the ways in which it is completely different.
I really like these nimble looking light/medium size multirole fighters. Only things I hate about it is the single MiG-29 derivative engine and the pathetic 23mm gsh cannon, which is angled downwards... should've done with a 30mm or the Vulcan since they have F-16s in their inventory.

I like JF-17, cost of fighter really worth it. Meanwhile Hal Tejas, expensive, needs long maintenance, so complicated etc. Pakistan did a great job on JF-17, but RD-33 engine isn't that enough for 4th gen fighters anymore. They should find another alternative for engine
Tejas does offer higher capabilities in turn of higher costs. And again that's the point. India wanted a cheaper but not cheap plane while Pakistan just needed a cheap plane. Similarly
@@Abdullah-mn6sw India failed, engine choice was a mistake, even Indian pilots doesn't like Tejas. Delta wings was another mistake. Plane is so complicated and still has a lot of issues. JF-17 is chep plane but it worth the price. JF-17 still improving but Tejas is about to retire.
Basically the definition of a failure. They built it for export and no one wants it, but i do think its really cool they build a new plane of the mig21 body.

The Pakistanis and Chinese have already started trials for a block 4 version of the JF-17. There is even a picture of it taking off. This is a good video, and the timeline of production and varients is really good. But the negative "tone" of it is not understandable. Perhaps the narrator has an unconcious bias against Pakistan/Chinese work or what?!. The sentiment expressed at the end of the video.... "compared to other competitors, the JF-17 is not-so-successful, but it is an impressive achievement for Pakistan"... is an odd statement. Even he says that the project achieved its aims. Compare that to the Tejas which is yet to mature after many decades of road bumps and failures. The block 3 version of the JF-17 is a 4+ gen aircraft that offers everything you expect from it at a much cheaper cost. That is not something to take lightly. Furthermore, the plane has been tried and tested in real world conflicts on several occassions, both in A to A and A to G combat. It carried out its missions successfully on each occassion. Other countries that are known to be in the negotiation stage for the block 3 version are Argentina and Serbia.

Unimaginable to even think of it having supercruise and supermanouverablity. How in this world can you classify it as 4+ gen?
@@vm8136 your comment is based on a mishmash of information. Some of it is somewhat accurate, while the rest is simply unadulterated misinformation. This could be due to you having no understanding of what defines a successful project, or perhaps your dogmatic adherence to preconceived ideas about Chinese/Pakistan technology and procurement. A lot of what you define as old technology is/has been gradually upgraded (even within the same block variant.) This includes pilots already having integrated helmet mounted hud displays..ala the Euro fighter etc. So yes the plane is now a 4+ gen aircraft... albeit a lower cost, no frills example of one. The program has been a remarkable success when considering the scope, timing, the budget set for it, the SME that has been achieved over the course of the program, lessons learnt for future variants..etc etc. I can go on but I won't. Then you have the fact that the PAF got exactly what it was looking for in its search for a replacement for their aging fleet of old Chinese and Western fleet. Add to that, the fact that the jet fighter proved itself in actual combat in several air and land engagements against multiple opponents, and we're talking block 1/2 variants here which aren't 4+ gen. Add to this that trials for block 4 varients are underway. Add to this that there are no less than seven countries in negotiations to have it (not including the 3 that have already purchased it.) If all of the above is not an example of highly successful project to produce a simple, lower cost 4+ gen jet fighter, then I know nothing about aircraft, nor do I know anything about project management. And I have worked on projects for the aviation industry.
I dont know why people call Tejas a sussess... Its bearly used in Indian Airforce itself and no other country has bought it currently. When looking at the JF17, its the most numorous aircraft in Pakistan airforce and its bieng sold to other countries as well. The fact that the JF-17 Thunder tried to make no breakthrough was a cause of it becoming somewhat of a breakthrough. JF-17 is inferior in almost every aspect to every other fighter in its category (of light tactical fighter), yet it's decent for both nations currently using them. Is it amazing? No, but also yes. Is it trash? Again, no, but also yes. Context matters. BTW Tejas technologically superior (as of now) & costlier, but JF-17 is more affordable, easier to operate, etc.. So, stop comparing. It's like comparing a pear & noodles.
@@thantzweaung9080 Tejas has a worse radar, higher cost, and worse missiles. It literally has 0 redeeming factors except for speed (which is of secondary importance) compared to the JF-17
So, where was the analysis? This was more of a regurgitation of facts that you know rather than critically analysing and contrasting the needs of each nation and the value provided by the JF-17 in contrast to other competitors in a similar context which will truly yield an accurate analysis?

Whether JF-17 is a good fighter jet or not is not the real question. JF-17 is a success because it put Pakistan on the path of independence. Independence from being put into a debt trap by the western military industrial complex and free from the restriction of western sanctions that could hampers its own defense capability.

Lol it doesn't come with AESA radar 😂
The affordability is only wrt acquisition cost and not wrt maintenance cos it seems to require a lot of maintenance given it has an all metal airframe, Russian engine and Chinese manufacturing quality
Further, the block 1 & 2 do not have AESA radar, no in flight refueling, only 2d fly by wire, lower thurst weight ratio, poor electronic capabilities and no American/western weapons
Even the block 3 retains the same Russian rd93 based engines, uses cheaper air cooled AESA radar and same metal body and build quality
There is a reason why western fighter aircrafts are costly.

@@mth469False, China actually needs more heavy weight fighters according to it's needs and the JF-17 (or FC-1) is not sufficient enough for the role since it is obviously a light weight fighter
@@Editorwithchai
PLAAF does not want FC-1 due to its (a) limited performance and on top of that (b) its quality issues.
The (b) added to that after the plane was built not just with core design issues but quality of production issues as well.

it is mostly the internet community from India and Pakistan that declare the failure or success of JF-17 program. almost all of them have little to no experience in the matter and the source of their arguments is only based on what they find favorable on the internet to support their PoV which is normally called confirmation bias.
the Jet fulfils the requirements of Pakistani airforce and has become a workhorse for the PAF helping greatly the workload of F-16s which are PAF's top tier fighter jet.
the Jet is way better than any other jet bar F-16 in PAF arsenal and in that sense alone it is a success story for PAF.
what it does internationally in terms of sales exports vs other Soviet, Chinese and Western jets is a completely different matter. that is the league of the very big powerful boys, it has no chance regardless of its capabilities.
@HuntManearth The FC-1 for China is for the export market. The J-10 was selected as the development was kept completely domestic, nothing shared.

Your intuition is very keen.At the beginning of the design, the American company Northrop Grumman did participate.
Looks more like a J-8B (wings mounted on lateral air intakes) that shafted a F/A-18 (wing strakes)
I don't know why people call this video biased, I am Pakistani and I think that you stayed rather neutral and based on facts. Thanks!
It deserves more success than it has, not everybody can afford or want the political issues that come with the F-16 or unreliability currently of Russian supply. China should be pushing this more to South America and African nations.

Part of Chinese Kashmir was also liberated in the 1965 war and conceded to China… so question of ‘Kashmir back’ doesn’t arise.

Thanks so much for video.
Other countries that are known to be in the negotiation stage for the block 3 version are Argentina and Serbia.
now tejas is deployed in kashmir . pakistan has chance to validate its jf17 bk3 superiority claim over Tejas mk1 by planning misadventures. Lets see when pakistani orderes their intergalactic fighter cum space ship jf17 to enter indian air space.
@@pravirchandragadkari88 I don't wish to see conflict between the two neighbours. But an actual engagement between the JF-17 and the Tejas would be very interesting and cool to watch indeed.
The block 3 version has a cheaper air cooled AESA radar, retains older Russian mig29 rd93 based engines, uses pod based electronic warfare, doesn’t have sensor fusion and nor does it have secure data links, forget about any active/shape stealth features.
Add to this that there are no less than seven countries in negotiations to have it (not including the 3 that have already purchased it.)
If all of the above is not an example of highly successful project to produce a simple, lower cost 4+ gen jet fighter, then I know nothing about aircraft, nor do I know anything about project management. And I have worked on projects for the aviation industry.
LCA still exist in PPT
I dont know why people call Tejas a sussess... Its bearly used in Indian Airforce itself and no other country has bought it currently. When looking at the JF17, its the most numorous aircraft in Pakistan airforce and its bieng sold to other countries as well. The latest varient JF17 Blk3 is in serial production but Tejas's latest varient is basicly on paper only and still not ready. If we are looking at the program success then the JF17 has clearly done enough.
Just because it is cliche.
Can we get some F-16?
Mom: We have F-16 at home
At home: JF-17
I like it they are so powerful
The real difference between LCA MK1 / MK1A and FC1 is reliability
Yes, reliability. PAF thinks JF17 is reliable enough to be the backbone of their fleet while IAF does not have the same opinion about Tejas.
@@bilalbaig8586 PAF doesn't have the options being untouchables in the international community. LCA gets ordered by both IAF and IN despite having Rafales, Sukhois, and a dozen other options. The FC-1 on the other hand has been disastrous for the Myanmar airforce and none of its customers have reordered. In fact all the customers of FC 1 are poor nations with no geo-strategic ambition or real need for an AF
Dubai 2021, LIMA 2019, Bahrain 2016. Each time the Indian Tejas participated in an air show, the Pakistani team cancelled their JF17 participation, ceded participation fee and left
The all metal airframe has poor manufacturing quality resulting in an availability of approx 40% for Pakistan Air Force
Even after buying 150 jf17 the PAF still relies mainly on the American f16 and has also started buying Chinese J10 fighter aircrafts
Above points may not be exhaustive but do provide some insight about jf17 reliability
@@vm8136 F16 + JF17 is high/low mix approach to PAF's fighter fleet.
Nobody claims that JF17 is meant to replace the F-16. For that we looking at J10CE now and Kaan in the future.
At the very least PAF commanders have shown faith in the product of their country. Within 20 years they have inducted large numbers and have kept improving it at every stage. We even got a tiny amount of export orders. We used JF17 in Operation Swift Retort and to bomb the TTP. Speaks volumes when the PAF have skin in the game and rely on the Jeff to perform as required unlike the Tejas which looks pretty in airshows. Also how do you know PAD ceded their participation fees? That info would confidential. I hope your source is not "Trust me, bro".
Meanwhile Indians TH-cam warriors are crying hoarse about the speriority of their Tejas at the same time as HAL keeps delaying production and upgrades. IAF commanders keep raving on about the superiority of paper projects like AMCA, ORCA, Tejas MK-2, CATS, and so many others I forget their names.
And it is not like India does not have the resources or capacity. You built a nuclear after all. It justs that Indian Armed Forces just know that the Indian audience just likes to keep hearing cool project names and looking at "futuristic" weapon demos and dazzling airshows at parades. Then once the public attention is diverted successfully they can go back to their business of looting public money or killing "unidentified" terrorists to climb the aristrocratic ladder or plainly just do nothing and laze around with their sinecures.
@@AnindyaMitraDigitalStorytellerscheduled caste hindu here talking about untouchability ?
Saying the Tejas is "more successful" is delusional. It's been rebuffed by every foreign country it's been offered to and currently sits at zero export customers. The JF-17 has three export customers, with the latest being Iraq.
All 3 customers (Nigeria, Myanmar and Pakistan) have grounded the plane due to major reliability and safety issues.
The aircraft is practically offered for free by China, but countries are not signing up for it.
Even the PLAAF won't buy the plane.
Myanmar loved using this JF 17.Even structural cracks and other technical problems compare to Tejas,JF-17 has a longer combat radius of around 1,200 km
it can't even fly for Myanmar lol

Obviously,JF17 is successful that this project help Pakistan developed his own aerospace industry and aircraft production capabilities. JF17 maybe not that perfect but it's the milestone for Pakistan military industry.🐱
Please compare mig21 bison vs j20 and mig21 vs jf17 thunder and mig21 bison vs j10c
and compare tajes with... Oh its not even inducted yet😂 a paper plane
Wait for block 4 it's coming 🎉❤ j 10 c are enough for tejas aka flying samosa
Did Pakistan repair Myanmar's grounded JF 17. Did JF 17 carry Amraam missiles to shoot down Indian Mig 21 in 2019. India has given evidence of the Amraam missile.
Bro's just waffling 😂. Block 1 although lacking compared to block 2 and 3 but it still fits the 4th gen mold. Block 3 is easily 4+. Even earlier f16s didn't have bvr. Calling it 3rd gen is funny.
I can smell. Something is burning.

*Nigeria was looking for the CHEAPEST option (not the best or even better) and because of financial issues chose JF17*
*MAYANMAR grounded its JF17 due to structural cracks.*
The JF-17 Thunder, a collaborative effort between Pakistan and China, has faced challenges in Myanmar. *Most of the newly acquired Chinese and Pakistan-made JF-17 fighter jets delivered to Myanmar have been grounded due to technical malfunctions.* Analysts and former Myanmar Air Force pilots monitoring the junta’s air capabilities report several issues:
Structural Flaws:
The JF-17 fighters added to Myanmar’s fleet have structural cracks and other technical issues.
These cracks and airframe damage have rendered some of the aircraft unfit for service.
Engine Problems:
The Myanmar military lacks the technical expertise to fix the problems.
Ground crew and Chinese contractors are working to address issues with the RD-93 engine, which caused a JF-17 to be unable to taxi on the runway.
Background:
Myanmar signed a deal in early 2016 to procure 16 JF-17s from China for $25 million each.
The first batch of six aircraft was delivered in 2018, but details about the other 10 remain unclear.

read the memoir if you want to know the full story from someone involved.
It only needs to be more successful than Tejas, which it already did lol
I wonder if this is the first fighter to use diverterless intakes?
Great fighter
Hope fully u r improve your mic quality in next upload.
Pakistan has supplemented its air force with squadrons of Chinese j 10c.
How is Tejas technologically superior? Only a dumb will say Tejas is better.
Tejas superior? Nice joke.

Make the next video Indian Attack Helicopter.
Where is the Tejas video with updates
So, where was the analysis? This was more of a regurgitation of facts that you know rather than critically analysing and contrasting the needs of each nation and the value provided by the JF-17 in contrast to other competitors in a similar context which will truly yield an accurate analysis?
The only weapon Pakistanis should be proud of is F16 and India should be happy as long as Pakistanis are stuck with Chinese jets and weapons 😅😂😅 India is getting all Western Jets and Indian jets with western technology ❤
But paying huge sums of money for it. That is not really great for economy
@MuhammadUsmanSyed what is the use of money when there are no weapons....we Indians learnt a lot from Quran and how to fight....so we will buy best weapons and will practice everyday to defeat you guys
your tejas jet hasnt even got any sales. Azerbaijan just signed a 1.6 billion dollar deal for some jf17's.
Whether JF-17 is a good fighter jet or not is not the real question. JF-17 is a success because it put Pakistan on the path of independence. Independence from being put into a debt trap by the western military industrial complex and free from the restriction of western sanctions that could hampers its own defense capability.
This is mainly a Chinese fighter that's why they were able to keep the cost low china did everything from r&d to teaching pakistan how to assemble this
