@@hubbabubba9695 I do, same as Deggial and Secret of the Runes; but if I had to choose one definitive line up would be the one from Lemuria, Sirius B, Celebrators of Becoming and Gothic Kabbalah; and male vocalists is harder to choose just one; Swano, Piotr, Mats, Snowy...they all have been amazing.
I love Vovin, and Theli is still my favorite, miss old Therion, was melancholy talking

So beautiful music, so amazing songs in leviathan and leviathan II and i feel that Leviathan III will be even better.

The song is all good to me, thanks to Therion. The lyrics really gives a good summarization of the band. The instrumentals are great! The vocals are pretty good too! ^__^
The music video is cool! The camera movements, video shots w/ some edits are a good plus. The performers really did a job well done with their performances! The crew deserved round of applauses for their hard work!

Leviathan 2 was a huge success, some of the songs are superhits
My ears can only hear regular hits, or mega hits butden are not equipped to comprehend the tone of super hits, tis a damb shame this will be the first and only song they listen to from this band.l.

Oh my God... This is magnificent! Even tremendous. This Leviathan part is already on whole another level of complexity and exoticism. But the true jem of this one is outstanding Mats Leven performance😍. Very Therionish. He brings distinctive atmosphere.
Dear Mr. Johnsson, if You read this, please consider to bring back Mats Leven in Therion live and studio. A dedicated fan writes to You, give him another chance in Therion🙏. It would be great to have once again two great male vocalists in the band. Together with Lori and Rosa it will be a bang!💥 Psalm Of Retribution from Leviathan I proves it and now Twilight Of The Gods. Oh, yes, and talking about Twilight Of The Gods, I like very much ending with Thomas and Chiara (as all returned to Ginnungagap...) just perfect. Yeah, would like to see such a quartet of Mats, Thomas, Lori and Rosa. I presume it would be interesting combination.
Though Mats said that he left the band because he didn't want to just be one out of four singers and do backing vocals 3/4 of the time. So I guess he probably won't be back in the live line-up, unless his priorities shift somehow.
@@desaturated-firefox, I may presume, that things might change since then. For some time he was frontman of Candlemass, but for quite some time he has no big band to be involved. And this is the opportunity to extend his legacy and make some money. Years are passing, we're all not becoming younger.
A month ago it was still unimaginable, that Lori Lewis will back in the live line-up of the band. And today it's a reality. I guess it is more question of Christopher. If he wants to have 2x2 line-up. Since Snowy has left, he never try to find another second male vocalist. But we'll see. Therion is on the rise again. And they might need more strength. Only time will tell.
@@artemhawke6970 I'd love a second male singer in the line-up again too, although what I personally would want is a man with a really deep, preferably operatic, voice to complement Thomas' tenor singing. Mats' voice is too similar to Thomas' IMO, I can't really imagine that they would both be in the line-up at the same time. Maybe Mats could be a Thomas _replacement_ or something, but Thomas isn't likely to get pregnant anytime soon, so... we'll see.
@@desaturated-firefox Mats gives Therion's music something very special, in atmosphere first of all. And he is a beast on stage, raw energy coming from him. But You're right. Vikstrom's tenor and another operatic deep voice, low bass for example I think that would be an interesting combination too. What do you think of duet between Thomas and Marcus Jupither from Beloved Antichrist?

Thomas Wikström's vocals are superb. But the pinnacle of male vocals in Therion were Mats Leven and Snowy Shaw. And I'm glad to hear some of them in Therion songs. Despite everything, Therion is one of favorites!

Epico, y ahora este tema me trae ese lineamiento elaborado en loa anteriores discos de Leviathan, buena duración, 6:30, hermoso video, con una voz bien metal al frente en los primeros 2 minutos me recuerda un tanto a tuonela, solo que con su propia melodía bien desarrollada, excelentes solos, sigue siendo admirable que sigan sacando material en su larga trayectoria 🤟

Therion never disappoints. Theres a reason theyre still on my top three. Tool, tyr, therion. Unchanged for a decade. Even after all these years, theyre arguably bringing more fire than the other two.

Yeah, it seems they almost became Viking metal band lately.
Pandemonic Outbreak was an awesome video clip at the time. From thereon each clip got less and less in my liking. I don't like theme based clips at all, I prefer to just see a band play in the clips.
@@hubbabubba9695 I like those best too, but tbh I don't mind the concept - paintings in motion, all very well, Qntal did that with their "Von den Elben" video in the 2000s which I saw at a young age and which actually had a part in shaping what I find beautiful. It just bothers me that the Leviathan videos are all nearly identical. There could be greater variety.
@@desaturated-firefox I really don't know anything about making this type of video clips (where it's like a short film rather than just filming a bunch of guys headbanging while playing play back to their song). So unlike those pseudo experts who usually piss on everything on internet, I will be humble and say IT LOOKS LIKE TO ME that they have recycled a lot in those videos (appears to be same actors, same attributes etc). Which I ASSUME is a way of saving money and be able to do more clips with the same money. I could be totally wrong, maybe they just "made a Bathory" and entered a Viking Metal stage in their career. I guess we will find out with the coming clips (if there will be any). Maybe they will have a viking ship like Amon Amarth on stage for the next tour - time shall tell.

Well, if on the next tour Therion come on stage on a Viking longship while "Thus spake Zarathustra" plays, that would... certainly be something :D Or maybe at that point only something by Wagner will do.

How I really missed hearing Mats Leven back with Therion, has ever been and guess will always be one of the most perfect combinations for me adds an extra something I lacked , mainly since Snowy left as well, even though Therion kept on with amazing vocalists. Now let me say that even if Mats Leven is not part of any other song, If Leviathan III follows even remotely close what is presented in this song in the remaining song quadrants it will definitely surpass for me the first Leviathan as my favorite album since Gothic Kaballah, which is still one of my favorites.
Gothic Kabbalah is legendary album, but very underrated in the mass sadly. And Mats... He is perfect match for Therion.
I also hope that in Leviathan III will be at least one more song with Mats, but I feel it will be strong album anyway. And maybe we'll be lucky enough to witness Mats once again live with Therion. That's just a dream, but who knows😅
@@artemhawke6970 Sometimes I wonder if the fact of Gothic Kaballah being the last album with Mats Leven as a regular also contributed to make Gothic Kaballah one of my favorites.
Let's hope we can hear at least one more song with Mats Leven in Leviathan III and it would be amazing get him live as well. Was able to still hear Snowy, Lori and Katarina Lilja all at the same time but sadly Mats had left already as a regular.
