I have never heard that you'll need another waiver part in p days. I ship Dec, I would lose my shit if they tried to switch rate or not let me in after I waited 9 months on this vision waiver lol I ain't gone lie.

Hey. No I didn’t feel that way from my experience. Lol boot camp was really fun and some what challenging for me. But you’ll get through it. They aren’t there to fail you. However, For you, stay away from drama. It’s easy to get sucked in especially being a female. Lol y’all can get a lil messy being around each other so much. Haha l. But, Always remember what you came there for and what you came to do! You not there for no other reasons but to graduate. Remember that! Good luck!!

Boot now is so different from when I went (70s) Everything we wore in we put in a box and shipped out. You could get kicked out but opting out wasn't an option. No training time outs. Swim was easy. Just basic. We didn't get snacks. 3 meals only 15 min or so to eat. There was a smoking room with a soda machine. Boot was easy. Bit of a disappointment. I was in better shape going in than coming out. I did lot of sports in school. You don't get much leeway in boot. In A school you get a bit more. Then once at your command you should know the ropes. A school is were a lot of people get in trouble.

Me and my boy will be going this March what was the physical activities like? We go to the gym a ton but we are still pretty lacking on some things, and the pushups/ curl ups kind of worry us a bit how did it go for you.
We did a lot of running. Like a lot 😂 focus on running, push up’s and planks. We don’t do pull ups at all. You’ll be fine

At your tech school, is there a lot of parties in the barracks on the weekends with beers and rock music and all that?

Ill advice. I went to A school in 1978-79 and stayed away from those weekend beer keg parties in the barracks. Years later I met a Sailor who lost his A school due to his reckless behavior.

@@ThatNavyMann Do you by any chance know approximately how much, on the website it says $35k, but a friend of mine went in and she only got $20k, her Picat/Asvab score was 35, mine is a 70 so I’m wondering if the score means you’ll get more in bonus.
@@stephancunningham3072 na the score won’t matter how much you get. They are going to take out taxes though so you’re not going to get the whole 32K. Besides they weren’t doing those bonuses when I joined for MA. 20k is a great way to come into the Navy.

They’re just going to check up on it and make sure you’re fit for duty. They are not going to just deny you off rip

@chrislainngu9421 if you're talking about the 1.5 mile, pretty sure a 10-minute is rated high on the scoring, 12:15 for the official run is passing, at 17-19 years old.
