    "How many rings do you have?"
    -Every single time a champion argues....and starts being proved wrong...he answers with this

    • @arizonaFIREent
      @arizonaFIREent 6 ปีที่แล้ว +34

      Stain Gretzky you play to win rings that puts you into the best of the best category so that's why players bring it up but obviously that doesn't determine everything because Horry isn't better than Jordan even tho Horry has more rings.... rings are like the ultimate get out of jail free card when debating sports hahaha

      Game 5 elimination game 1989 Jordan scores 18 total and 1 point in fourth
      1995 ECF Jordan has two turnovers in final minute of game to give Orlando the win
      Not to mention the multiple times he was swept out of the first round
      Jordan plays for bulls 1993 they win 57 games, doesn’t play 1994 they win 55 games
      LeBron brings teams to finals than when he leaves they get the first pick
      In the 90s the NBA added 6 expansion teams, spreading out talent, watered down NBA
      1996 the NBA had the record for most teams with under 20 wins
      Jordan never had to face zone defenses, illegal defense was beneficial to Jordan’s scoring sucsess. Give Kobe those rules and he will average more points than Jordan.

    That wasn’t the argument, they didn’t address it here. Barkley argument was that you can’t win with coach not getting along with the best player of the team. Dumb Shaq said it’s not true that he won a championship and didn’t get along with pat riley hahaha, then Barkley said he wasn’t the best player in that team it was wade, that only made Barkley’s points. When Shaq was the best player in his champions he did get along with the coach with it was Phil Jackson

He’s a clown on tv but his game was unprecedented before the 21 st century. An underside frontcourt player that played like a guard and a big at the same time. He was before his time.

    All of you who never followed NBA until just 10 years ago should really shut up with the argument that Shaq was 2nd fiddle to Kobe and Wade. This argument was started by Pippen on a social media beef with Shaq and has now been copied by Barkley just to insult Shaq. Barkley never even approved of Kobe's selfish game the same way he doesn't approve of Westbrook's selfish game. Barkley only recently started heaping praise on Kobe as an all-time great during his farewell year at same time everyone else was jumping on the bandwagon. From 2004 until 2008 when Lakers acquired Gasol in a trade, Lakers were a losing team and fans kept regretting that Shaq was traded instead of Kobe. And yes, that period included Kobe's 81 point game that everyone seems so enamored about nowadays when mentioning Kobe's greatness, not realizing that everyone back then was joking around how bad the Lakers still were. How about Wade's Heat when Shaq wasn't around? They lost in the 2nd round in 2004. They missed the playoffs in 2008. They lost in the 1st round in 2009 and 2010. Then Lebron and Bosh came along. Wade was great, but not that great.
    You have no idea how unstoppable Shaq was and how worried the entire NBA was with Shaq's dominance that they had to finally allow use of zone defense sometime in 2003 or 2004 after decades of not allowing it. NBA was fine with Jordan dominating one-one-one but they couldn't let Shaq dominate one-on-one much longer. This was even while every team was using the hack-a-Shaq strategy.
