Convicted armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed expected to be called to testify in Baldwin trial

Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, the armorer who's already been convicted for her role in the 2021 on-set shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, is expected to be called to the stand in Alec Baldwin's involuntary manslaughter trial. Gutierrez-Reed's attorneys have said she plans to plead the fifth. Baldwin was holding the prop gun that fired at Hutchins, killing her. CBS News correspondent Elise Preston has more.

Hannahs case needs to be dismissed. She didnt bring those live rounds to the set

She was the armorer, it was her responsibility smfh

She was the one responsible to make sure the weapon did not have live ammunition in it or live ammunition was around it. That is her primary job she did not do it and a life was lost because of it.

​@@gremlin7665 its a triple headed argument, the prop ammunition, was supplied by a third party, the prop ammunition came with the correct paperwork, however live ammunition was mixed in with the prop ammo, the live ammunition and prop ammunition are visually identical, except for a tint on the striking pin, however the tint can degrade in sunlight, and the box that had the live ammo that killed the director, had been hidden from the defence of both Gutierrez-Reed's defence and Baldwin's.
The state also removed and suppressed evidence from both teams, and the prosecutors also lied on the stand.
These actions are going to have repercussions throughout the whole of the US legal system, this is blatant obvious proof that state prosecutors are chasing cases for personal gain irregardless of the truth.
It also looks like Gutierrez-Reed could have her sentence vacated in light of the prosecutors actions.
