I’m black and I see my interior design style in lots of different designers…black or not. This is a strange requirement. I think there are black design channels if that’s what you’re looking for

I love how Quincy's moms have allowed the elegant, custom-made coffee table to become her space, books and all. Not all designers would incorporate their children's needs into the main living areas so that they can grow up feeling comfortable in beautiful spaces. She's a lucky little girl. :))

So refreshing to see a home that is not overdone and a hostess that knows how to speak without saying um and like. She also doesn’t drop hundreds of designer names for fabrics, wallpaper, etc. A clean, well thought out space.
I usually find neutrals quite boring, but these neutrals are so warm and cosy. I love the frequent punctuations of black too. Really, really beautiful! The pup is really lovely too!

I loved that her attitude about design is soo relaxed and down to Earth. I could listen to Candice speak for hours … her voice is so relaxing and easy to listen to.

Born in Detroit grew up in Chicago I remember my family driving to Evanston and seeing all of the luxury homes and going to sit on the rocks at the lake
Lovely soft colors everywhere. The little girl's room is calming yet dramati cally put together, and just beautifully done but I have to comment on the open shelves. I hope they are anchored to the wall! They seem like an invitation to an inquisitive child to climb. You hear about children pulling dressers over on themselves so I'm sure Candace must have thought of this. Just want to make sure it's safe for their wonderful daughter. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us.
