This house is a beautiful example of making your home reflect your life. I saw the Brownstone Brothers work on their home before I knew about Cynthia Andrew. Love to see a beautiful Black family living their best life. The colors, design, textures, and expansive use of space inspire me. Excellent feature!!

From someone that grew up in the Park Slope area in Brooklyn, I love to see these old brownstones given a second life. In the 60s/70s, I saw a steady decline of these beautiful homes. Back then, Park Slope/Brooklyn was not what is is today. Beautiful home!
Love love love!!! It’s really the color for me. It’s so courageous and puts me in a happy place. I wish I had it in me to use more color in my home but in the meantime, I’ll live vicariously through her. ☺️
I love the mirror over the fireplace, I have the same mirror in my bedroom …. It’s from Anthropologie, it comes in gold, silver and black and it comes in 3 - 5 different sizes depending on the color!

Although, I am not a huge fan of electicism, I love the size of the space and that the owner and her family are able to express who truly are. It truly gives the visitor a peak into who they are, Cameroon, francophiles that have embraced American culture. It is cozy and inviting. I just want to curl up their couch and Noah on hummus and veggies.
