You explain everything so well I just got done painting for wicker baskets and a lineage one blue pink green and yellow in each one I did the top a little bit different I tried sending you some pics but I can't figure out how to do that on this TH-cam channel here thank you so much for your help and I'm going to make my first round basket liner today

Thanks you saved the day for my 2023 Easter Basket. We take the basket to church to be blessed.. Because of the handle I needed to leave the top elastic . It worked out fine and I can't wait to make more!!!! Happy Easter and thanks!!!!

Thank you! I spent hours last year trying to figure out the wire basket insert for Easter. I bought baskets at Dollar Tree but had to buy a whole case! So, I have plenty left over. I will use your instructions to do a better job this year.

I wonder if doing the bottom like boxing the bottom of a purse would work too. Maybe rounding off the boxing instead of straight. Maybe I'll try it and see how it works on an oval basket.

I like this, however I have a number of rectangular baskets too. Perhaps we could have a future video to cover a method for square and rectangle pnes?

Found this a bit confusing as you use green fabric for the wicker basket, but then use pink fabric for the wicker basket half way through. Also, when doing the elastic for the wicker basket, your piece is a flat unsewn piece even though we’d just been told to sew the circular bottom piece on. Maybe it’s just me though 🧐
Hi Rebekah. The wicker basket was round, and the wire basket was oval. I was showing how to measure each shape. The process of stitching either basket liner for each is exactly the same. I would suggest you watch the tutorial again. When a sewing project is new to you it is best to watch it several times. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching💗and happy sewing😍
