I never Comment or Subscribe on TH-cam but I have today because your content is so good. I'm studying for my WSET 2 and so glad I found you! Pls keep the content coming. A fan from India.
I run a wine group which meets in person monthly, and by Zoom on the non in-person weeks. After our tastings we usually watch a related video, and have enjoyed several of yours - thank you. Just one thing - please don't put a musical sound track over the video - we find it just detracts from what you're saying. Much better to hear what you have to say than to be distracted by the music. Thanks for interesting videos
Thanks for exploring and sharing beyond the usual grapes/wines. Many of us appreciate the exploring as well. So many possibilities out there, that shouldn't go unnoticed.
I never had that grape verity but I heard that it was a preferred grape in California in maybe the 70s before Cabernet Sauvignon become the dominant grape. I tend to gravitate towards still white wines with the high minerality and fizzy mouth feel for still wines almost like a sparkling wine. I am probably 100% wrong about the 70s, but I heard in the early days of Napa wine, Cabernet Sauvignon wasn’t the preferred grape.
A video comparing the most common varieties would be amazing. Great video!!
Love for you to continue this series!!!! Bummed there’s only a few wines!
I'll get there. Struggling to find a few of the letters. When I get them, I'll be putting them out. Thanks for watching.
